mctowel01: Guys, got a general flight querry..
Emirates says cabin baggage allowance is 55x38x20, but I have a bag of 60x32x18.... Will it fly? Or I 'll have to get a new one? the difference in height is only 5cm, that's about half the length of your middle finger. Don't bother yourself, I think you are okay. It's not as if they come to the check-in queue with a meter rule to measure the sizes of bags. |

Amicable24: Helllooooo.. Please, why pick on me. Didn't you see the people who mocked him to tell all these? I even took out time to explain the necessary steps to be taken and here you are making me feel bad about it I only expressed an opinion as stated in the last sentence of my post. The intent of the post was never to pick on anyone nor to make anyone feel bad. I hope this puts an end to any controversy generated. |

Amicable24: ROTFLOL
@Fabbyboy; Lemme try and help you out..
Please answer the questions below correctly
1) Do you wish to travel to Australia as a permanent resident? 2) Are you financially okay to commence with the processing?
If your answers are positive, then continue:
3) How old are you.. [check the first page to know how many points you've got with your age] 4)Have you written any of the English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE and so on? [Please, write one of these and ensure you meet up with the required score, as stated in page one, so that you can earn at least 10 points] 5) How many years of work experience do you have? [Again check the first page to know how many points you have there] 6)What's your qualification? Like a Doctorate degree, B.Sc, Diploma, e.t.c [check the first page to know how many points you have there]
At this juncture, calculate your total points.. If it's up to 60 points, then you can begin with your application by sending an Expression of Interest and wait for an invite from them.. bla bla bla...
You can continue from there or ask oga bellong to help you out.. While it is strongly advised that individuals should do their part in getting answers or show to have made effort to get answers to the questions they might have, i would also suggest that we should choose our words carefully when responding to a questioner. Though I know that we are all unanimous here and only a few may know certain individuals or one another aside from their pseudonyms, It is essential that people are responded to with dignity and not made to feel that they are made into a laughing stock. This is my candid opinion and I think everyone should take heed. Thanks. |

Please can experts in the house respond to my quires. No, it's not going to be a problem. But reference the formulas. |

bellong: Words cannot express how much I appreciate all your greetings, goodwill messages, prayers and well wishes.
May the good Lord prosper you all and make your dreams come true. Those still waiting for ITA, may it come sooner than expected.
@Ozymigrant,
You have written more than I deserve... Thanks for the compliments. We brought nothing to this world and we shall take nothing back... You were only lucky the person I got the money from gave me a tip , others have not been so generous...
It is always a pleasure being of help if it is within my capacity to do.... May your road be rough as my secondary school principal used to pray for us.
@Alphadoor,
South Australia is a nice place for raising family. It is relatively quiet and peaceful compared to the Lagos of Australia (Sydney). Life is beautiful here and you have access to every basic things of life.... However, getting a job as a new arrival may be very challenging. It is why I don't encourage people to choose the state except it is the last option.
@Mamajaz,
Thanks... I am lucky too for having such a beautiful Mind for a soulmate.
Tomorrow is the remembrance of her arrival to this world..... @bellong That prayer sounds familiar. Did you go to Mayflower School? |

chebyshev: Hello friends,
Come and rejoice with me as my EA assessment outcome letter returned positive this morning.
Standard application submitted :09/02/2017
Occupation : Professional Chemical Engineer
Application fast tracked: 14/04/2017
Additional information requested by assessor :25/04/2017
Requested information submitted : 6/05/2017
Outcome letter received :08/05/2017
All thanks to catchwindfrmkd who helped me proof read my career episodes and professional summary statement. You are awesome bros. God bless you.
I also appreciate bellong and mactowel1 for providing solutions to the information requested by my assessor. Your suggestions worked like magic.
@majiouk2002, thanks for your suggestion.I went to unilag but the Hod refused to issue a letter to explain the content and length of the my Msc programme. He said EA should contact them directly if they are interested in knowing about these. I took the bull by the horn by explaining everything myself and it worked perfectly for me as my Msc was also recognised by EA.
Adesolami36 thank you too
It's PTE turn now. May God help me and all of us in our quest to migrate to Australia.
Very happy for you! congratulations!! hope to hear positive news. |

Alphadoor: Partner should take PTE (50 band) or IELTS 6 (band). competent english is what is required. Academic transcipt or certificate is not applicable I think it is functional english that is required. |

Denny2017: Please can someone clear the air for me,If EA and immigration office are to contact my employer,who will they contact? the person that signed the reference letter or the HR direct? When i did my EA assessment, my employers where never contacted. I think it is almost certain that your employers will not be contacted by EA. However, I'm yet to find out if my employers will be contacted by immigration. But i believe that, if your supporting documents are compelling enough there would be no need for any contact by immigration. |
