If your battery drop too quickly do what others do,drain it down completely after that charge to 100% uninterruptedly like switching it on,after a full charge drain it down again and charge for regular use.

the high performance mode strengthens your 3G or 4G network, uses more brightness which leads to heating. this makes your battery get used up quickly
