One day, Hitler came to a cabinet meeting carrying a chicken. He held the chicken’s head tightly under his arm. As he walked, he began plucking its feathers one by one. The chicken screamed in agony, struggling desperately to escape from Hitler’s grip. But Hitler did not let go, nor did he pay any attention to its cries—he just kept plucking. The cabinet members said to him: “Don’t torture that poor creature like this. Let it go.” But Hitler refused to listen to anyone. Finally, after plucking all its feathers, he threw the chicken to the ground. Then he took some grains out of his pocket and began feeding them to the chicken. In that state, the chicken, desperate for food, started looking toward Hitler’s hand again. Hitler called it closer, offering the grains. After a while, the chicken came and sat near him, eating those few grains. The same chicken that had been struggling to escape from Hitler all this time now sat beside him again—for just a handful of grains. The cabinet members asked in astonishment: “What is this?” Hitler replied: “Voters are just like this. For four and a half years, we pluck their feathers. And then, in the last six months, we throw them a few grains. For those few grains, the voters forget all the injustices we committed over four and a half years—and they vote for us again.” |
You are 💯 Accurate . I personally have learn alot from nairaland compare to x, fb, etc |
How is Lagos this season ?Still bubbling ?Post your reports. |
Buhari's incompetence was a child's play compare to tinubu. During Good luck regime i met many people that benefited from sureP without knowing anyone in government. Likewise in Buhari's regime, many of my friends benefited from Npower. This Tinubu regime is full of audio empowerment schemes. The worse govt Nigerians have every experience. |
Eriokanmi:Why river Niger no become natural boundaries for North and south? Why river Niger and River Benue wey divided kogi state into 3 separate parts no turn am to 3 states or different zones ? |
Good news!!! The river Niger and River Benue was not a natural boundary between the north and south, so why should it be between Eastern and Western igbos? If that was the case kwara and Benue states would have been in the south. Kogi would have been 3 states if the rivers where to be natural boundaries. |
Wickedtruths:Igalla only have 3 villages that was ceded to anambra and enugu. Is not enough to form a state. ...What about Igbo parts in kogi & Benue? |
GreatSage:I can guide u on how to go about it. Whatsapp me. |
But the chain no look like fake.

Hello my people, does any one know the worth of this chain? Someone wants to sell it to me, and he is calling a high price.

I was filling a form online. On the gender section I saw * male. * Female and a third option non- binary. I was confused.....then in my mind, I was like if someone is not A male or female, then what would the person be? |
Kreesxxx:Wrong! The first Igbo bible was written by jonas (ex slave from orsu axis- isuama), crowther only published it and it was written in nsubi/bonny igbo dialect . Stop distorting history |
Pre -2000, travelling to Anwai-Asaba every Sunday evening was a ritual. With the hot fish perpersoup and palmwine, the village setting offered a very serene and welcoming allure that held most spending Onitsha residents bound for years. Relative to the slum of goat sellers, dirt and confusion at the Onitsha Bridgehead end, the weekly gateaway was only logical. Before long, conversations around cheap land purchase in Anwai, Okpanam, Ibuzo and its environs joined and many of us keyed in speedily. Unorganised real estate business started. Those who built immediately gained but most of us that delayed lost the properties to grabbers dubious indigenes.Coupled with its robust hospitality with night life and the gradual but intentional development of Asaba with Ibori and Uduaghan’s oil money, the building of an international airport by Okowa and of course, our security challenges, Onitsha residents moved to reside in Asaba in droves. 2012/13, Peter Obi did a massive 8-way-lane construction from Bridgehead to Upper Iweka. Goat sellers were moved away, motor parks, makeshift markets and dirty areas were fenced off/in.2012/13, Peter Obi did a massive 8-way-lane construction from Bridgehead to Upper Iweka. Goat sellers were moved away, motor parks, makeshift markets and dirty areas were fenced off/in. Overnight, Asaba appeared the slum while till date, Onitsha end of the Bridgehead developed a clear edge in urban ambience. The place of Onitsha trading business volumes cannot be challenged. The potential is even more humongous. As a banker then and seconded as a committee member of the then proposed Anambra State Housing Insurance scheme and working with APLUC in 2010, Nkwelle Ezunaka was designated as the fastest developing area in Anambra State if not South East. As a banker then and seconded as a committee member of the then proposed Anambra State Housing Insurance scheme and working with APLUC in 2010, Nkwelle Ezunaka was designated as the fastest developing area in Anambra State if not South East. It is surprising that there has not been a deliberate plan to map out a disciplined urban planning to connect that axis to Umueri airport for a whole new clean city to emerge. Asaba is gradually becoming a major satellite town to Onitsha. The whole of Nteje, Umunya, Oba, Atani, Aguleri and Awkuzu should represent our own satelite towns just like Surulere, Okoko and Ketu to Lagos, so that daily, residents travel to Onitsha for businesses. That way, just like Lagos Island, Onitsha is designated a business metropolis, residentially decongested and effectively merges with Awka in 15 years. A new well-planned Onitsha metropolis should be aggressively pursued. Major parts of Awada, Nkpor, Mgbuka, etc are slums today because of delayed actions to enforce building discipline.A new well-planned Onitsha metropolis should be aggressively pursued. Road infrastructure by government should add to their efforts and the fear of Asaba will dissappear. |
Stupidity is when some idiots believe that 3 igala villages in the south east is enough to form a state. Acute stupidity is when some idiots believe that there is ijaw in imo state. Stupidity has no bounds. |

Hightablevoice2:The North is wise. Buhari arrested NK but he Neva convicted him ...in other not to create enemity between the igbos and the north. He drag his case till the end of his tenure. Bobo...on the oda hand is trying to pls the north by convicting NK. Out of greed, hoping that north will support him for second term. |
Hightablevoice2:Yes. Just as u said that bobo knows that the north cannot do it alone without the south....don't you think that bobo is shooting him self on the leg by fighting the igbos? Just take a look at olu's economy polices in Lagos and the sentencing of NK while Gumi & Bandits walks free. Don't u think it will jeopardize the unity of the south? |

As far as I'm concern, 4 years is more than enough to set this country on the right part. The same greed ...that killed Jonathan. |
OneCandleAway:He is a fool, if he think that north will support him come 2027. What is he really looking for, that he cannot achieve in 4 years? |
The North were telling BoBo that his economy polices were hurting Nigerias mostly the north, rather he yield deaf ears.... All he was interested on was to use poverty as a weapon to subdue the masses. Now ..... We have many poor and jobless people who had resort to terrorism and banditry. Them don dey serve bobo government breakfast.... daily. Waitooo...I be like I go go form my own... because na the most lucrative business now for naija. |

*Mr. President, You Did Not Inherit a Dilapidated Nigeria — You Are Worsening It* — Emir Mohammed Sanusi’s Message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu *Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I strongly disagree with your claim that you inherited a dilapidated Nigeria from your predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari. Your administration’s spending patterns contradict this assertion.* Below are my reasons: *Extravagant and Unjustifiable Expenditures Under Your Leadership:* ₦21 billion allocated for renovating the Vice President's residence. ₦70 billion given to National Assembly members to purchase SUVs — each vehicle costing ₦160 million. ₦4 billion for renovation of Dodan Barracks and an additional ₦3 billion for Aguda House. ₦5 billion handed to the Presidential Tax Reforms Committee (less than 20 members), headed by Taiwo Oyedele, with no tangible outcome. ₦1.5 billion allocated for vehicles for the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu — despite the fact that the Office of the First Lady is not recognized by the Constitution. A 300% salary increase for judges, passed swiftly by an indifferent and irresponsible Senate. ₦5 billion budgeted for the presidential fleet. ₦5 billion for a presidential yacht. A staggering ₦225 billion allegedly spent on a new presidential jet. ₦90 billion allocated for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage. *Billions spent on foreign trips for yourself and the Vice President at the expense of suffering citizens*. *Every senator now earns ₦21 million monthly, and House of Representatives members ₦13.5 million monthly — all salary hikes approved under your administration.* *The ₦15 trillion Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road contract was allegedly awarded illegally to your associate, Gilbert Chagoury, who was previously repatriated under former President Obasanjo.* *Alarming Governance Trends:* *You have appointed the largest cabinet in Nigeria’s history — how is this being financed?* You created a new Ministry of Livestock Development — what about the Oronsaye Report, which recommended merging and downsizing MDAs to reduce costs? *Where is the fuel subsidy savings? How much has been saved, and what was it used for? Nigerians demand transparency.* *What Nigerians Are Facing:* *Cost of governance has skyrocketed, not decreased.* *Fuel subsidy was removed without cushioning measures.* Electricity tariffs have been hiked. Education and healthcare are now unaffordable for the average Nigerian. *Prices of food and basic goods are beyond reach.* Insecurity and killings have increased. *The economy has deteriorated significantly.* Unemployment is rising. Corruption has been institutionalized. Nepotism is rampant. *Security votes and leaders' allowances remain untouched.* *There are zero direct support systems for the Nigerian citizen.* *Your government's slogan of “Renewed Hope” has turned into renewed hopelessness, destitution, and deception.* *Mr. President, your lifestyle, and that of your ministers, governors, and top officials — including service chiefs and heads of agencies — reflect reckless opulence, not the austerity of a “dilapidated” nation. Leaders are getting richer. Citizens are growing poorer.* *Your personal transformation — physically, mentally, and financially — in contrast to the suffering of Nigerians, is a glaring indictment of your administration.* This trajectory must be reversed immediately. This is just a glimpse of the insensitive and reckless leadership we are currently enduring. |
Uchenna10:Scent leave? Is it the one they use to cook pepper soup? |
Kreesxxx:Point of correction, I'm not Igbo. I'm from cross River. But I know ur history more than u do. I expected u to comment on important point I raised, rather u resorted to bullying. Isoma is an Igbo word for igbos who where from isu and orsu areas of imo state. They were mostly peasants who work in people's farms to earn a living in the olden days. Uptill date Owerri people still refers to people from orlu axis as isoma. ikwerre migrants now generalized the concept to include all igbos and also gave a different interpretation to it. You don't really deserve IGBO attention, they have other more important pressing matter to handle. It is a known fact that ikwerre is made up of 2 distinct groups. 1. The real ikwerres who are from Igbo linage. 2. The migrants ikwerres who came from Benin, and were allowed to settle with the indigenous ikwerre. The migrants took advantage of Igbo defeat in the civil war, and then generalized that ikwerres aren't Igbo. They renamed Igbo communities to make it sound less igbotic. Below is the map of PH in 1914, from the national archives. Rest.

Kreesxxx:This trend is about anioma but this ikwerre internet worior don turn am to ikwerre vs Igbo trend. I've lived in both ikwerre and Igboland for years. I observed that An average Igbo man don't bother himself about ikwerre. They don't even know whether ikwerre exist. It only online that I'm seeing this nonsense debate. But the truth is that every tribe have the right to decide which group to belong. And the right for self determination. Despite that, igbos will always come for the ikwerres, because they have something that belongs to the igbos... Language, culture and Land. Kreesxxx is arguing that currently majority of ikwerre repute Igbo identity. This may be true in recent circumstances. But it was not always like this. I remember that in the 80s and 90s the identity crisis was not noticable in most parts of ikwerre. I was only Strong in emuoha lga. But after the return to democracy in 1999, politicians most especially during Amechi's tenure sponsored the indoctrination and the younger generation were completely brainwashed. The privilege that ikwerre is enjoying in rivers today was given to them by Igbo men Zik and Ebitu. In early 90s when they haven't created bayelsa, ijaws we're dominating rivers politics. They often have conflicts with ikwerres to the extent that it often amount to streets riots between okirikas and the ikwerres. The okirikas attached themselves with the ijaws, while the ikwerres looked up to the Igbo. They sent delegation to Zik for help. That was why Obi wali was seriously campaigning for Port Harcourt state. (Exactly what Ned is doing now) Forward to when abacha wanted to create new states. Zik instructed Ebitu ukiwe to present Bayelsa states as one of the states to be created, in order to free igboids in rivers from ijaw dominance. That is how rivers was split. In my own opinion, ikwerres elites are very ungrateful to the Igbo. They are directing their anger to the wrong people. I'm not an Igbo person, but in view of what I have observed, igbos will surely come for ikwerres in the future because of the atrocities that their elites (mosty especially wike) have committed against the Igbo. Lastly, Kreesxxx your assertion that ikwerres have their ogbakor ikwerre before Igbo came up with ohanaeza show that u are so naive about your history. Before ohaneze, there was Igbo state union which was established in 1948. It was baned in 1966 after the military took over. It later metaphored to ohaneze during the second republic. The same era that ogbakor ikwerre was established, there was also other Igbo groups such as the orlu progressive union and many others.it was mainly established for political reasons not for tribe identity as portraited now by the ikwerres. Most of ur assertion is as of the results of indoctrination. There is no historical documents about Rumumasi declaration. Also these assertion u are bringing up are recent notions fabricated by ur elites in other to strengthen their claim. Even Elechi Amadi who was the architect of this ikwerre identity crisis did not mentioned it in any of his write up. Kreesxxx make u dey camp down. NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT. |
