frankalozy:
I got another mail for digital interview.i did the first one, was it cancelled?. Who has information on this pls share
But there was also a mail from Baker stating why the first one was cancelled, you didn't get the mail? Pls how many questions did the first one you did contain? Any technical questions, or just general interview questions. In your estimation, how much data is needed for it, cos I intend to use a modem subscription. Thanks.

naijamark:
Interview has now been rescheduled. Could anyone describe what the cancelled session looked like?
How many questions were there?
Was there adequate time to prepare a response to the questions asked?
Could you tell us any of the questions asked?
Kindly respond. Thanks
How did you manage to reschedule, pls? Just saw the mail yesterday and I am so unprepared right now.

Hehe. Halli na pawpaw people na. They did one graduate recruitment in April, they surely can't be needing people now. This ad is to fulfil righteousness for a job they've already given out. Imagine getting regret mails almost immediately. They are not even reading your application.

On team work and individual glory, ever been in a team that flopped at a task? When you are lambasted every member feels the shame, though in your heart you may curse the fella who brought all dem bright ideas during the task but that wont stop the shit on your face from stinking. In times of success the glory should be shared. You may have all the bright ideas but sometimes a simple nod or 'I agree' from a team mate is enough contribution. I watched a team present a report once and this guy kept saying, 'I did...I did...I decided...I chose...' and only one word came to my mind, 'public masturbation' - two actually. You could see a longing for spilling blood on the faces of his team mates. Next time that fella brings up a bright idea, someone is gonna oppose him for the sake of it, APC vs PDP style. PS: in the next team task all the bright ideas may come from someone else and you dont want them to treat you like a homeless person when presenting the report.

DPlacement: I said 'dplacement' was not recruited in 2007 and NO, I wasn't an interviewer in 2007.
Riddles in the Dark, Smeagol vs Bilbo Baggins. So the guy who was recruited that year was Dplacement not dplacement. Simple data checking riddle solved. Thanks guys for your cooperation.

Bornu is only a metaphor, using any other state would still provoke such needless sentiments. And yeah, Bornu along with several states, including Rivers are educationally less developed, doesnt mean they cant produce genuises. I served in Delta State, of eleven kids in a jss one class in this village, only one could spell his name. I had many yoruba corps members who were so bad I'd not let them teach my cat, no offence. It just doesnt matter where you are from, genuises as well as dunces are everywhere. By the ways if you wanna save your mb dont visit this place till the results are out...no point blackmailing folks who can afford to waste their own mb.peace

okeyjames: Some states might pass more than some states while some states might not even be among the highest. Just saying if it can be possible?
Quota means you can have 52 percent and make it to the AC ahead of someone with 82 percent from a state whose 'slots' are already filled by genuises. That is what the demon/angel of quota does. Anyway, Quota Luck!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by MAKEWAY2029: 7:48pm On Jul 25, 2014
Quota ish has always been there, I think. A couple of threads from the last recruitment had allusions to that effect. I also know too many folks who swear by the old and new gods that their 'sources' in nlng say the quota ish is as real as Ned Stark getting a head shorter at Baelor's Sept. Anyway, everyone seems to be in the CIA these days, especially if they seek info they wanna hear...so if these cheques end up as duds dont come suing me! Meanwhile, it feels like a great time to be from Bornu State where I'm only the 8th engineering graduate from my village and the only one with a 2.1. Amen.

And by the way, if it has to do with politics, start delivering your manifesto right away.
Remember, we will be the King makers then...
Hehe. Politics aint my ish bro. I'd probably need a PhD and plenty of dullness to fit the job description these days. 2029 is my atm pin, I am so slow I need it here to remember. Dont get smarty bro, account balance was N45.02 last time I checked.

On PTDF Scholars, first off you should start school late sept or sometime in october by which time this nlng thing will still not have concluded, in which case you'd have little choice than to resume school and maybe come back for medicals if successful at the ac. Secondly, if you have to pick between the job and a uk msc, take the damn job! The whole uk experience is great, but thats about where it ends - the experience. You'd have postponed unemployment for a year but it will be waiting for you when you are back. And you'l be competing with everyone else like you didnt even have an msc, there is hardly an advantage. The msc is only a means to an end, for most of us a job. Unless you mean to hang the cert on your wall and brag to your grand kids about it...take the damn job!

lendron03: @Makeway2029...yeah! God probably has a job for only you at Seplat
Don't take it personal bro/sis. All I am saying is that "God will see us ALL through" is a logical fallacy. I wasn't insinuating God will keep the job for me. Truth is I have no faith in this recruitment process, it would be a miracle if I was invited, given there was no ad even in the first place. The thing was meant to be strictly insider-runs, some guy just brought it to the public...doesn't mean they would take the public seriously though.

Good luck.

EducationChoosing Among Cranfield, Newcastle And Uni Of Aberdeen - Subsea Engineering. by MAKEWAY2029(op): 3:26pm On May 31, 2012
Hi guys, I really need your help with deciding on university choice as soon as possible. I have got admission to study Subsea Engineering at Cranfield, Newcastle University and University of Aberdeen. I am having a hard time choosing among the 3. I have complete scholarship (PTDF) so cost is not a consideration. I am looking at the reputation of the school with respect to the course, opportunities for employment upon graduation and over all postgraduate school and environment experience.

I would really appreciate responses from your experiences especially guys in the industry and those who have UK schooling experience directly or via friends.

I would appreciate it if you give reasons for your choice. This will help me in my evaluation.

I want to present my school choice by next week. Thanks for your anticipated help.
