The network failure should have been caused by the POS machine. There's no network failure with Fidelity bank.
Dey deceive yourself like you are the only one using Fidelity bank huh tongue tongue

It depends on the bank. With Fidelity bank you will never experience network problem as long as the POS machine has network .
Lie lie... I've tried using Fidelity bank card a couple of times and there was a network glitch... The thing is this, sometimes our banks are out of network, and if you use the card on any POS at that point you will experience a network failure

The situation isn't funny at all and many Nigerians are really suffering due to this policy.

Let me share a very short and sad story with you.

I was at the market yesterday to get some groceries and provisions for the house. I made the payment via transfer because I didn't go with my ATM card. Unfortunately, I was debited immediately but the vendor didn't receive alert on his end.

I came to his shop around 3pm. You wouldn't believe that I waited till 6:30pm thinking that the alert will come in.

Lo and behold, Mr. vendor didn't get the alert.

I hard to return all the stuffs I bought. He collected my phone number and told me that he will call me once he sees the alert so that he can transfer my money back to me.

I was angry but I had to receive sense immediately because it wasn't his fault. He was just trying to play safe too.

I came home angrily and drank semovita with no Sugar.

The policy is just so annoying.

It may sound funny and unbelievable but I prepared it the same way you will prepare Pap.

No, he hasn't but he called me that he has seen the alert.

I haven't gone back to him yet due to my busy schedules of the day.
I guess you did interbank transfer involving two different banks... Next time, if possible, do same bank transfers, that is way faster to drop..

Who told you transfer is how you buy things cashless. Card payment is cashless payment not phone transfer. Next time use POS machine to transfer the money to the seller.

This and many more is proof that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation. Most businesses that ought to have POS machine to enable cashless payment don't have it. The government have to confiscate cash to force them. Even now most of them have not gone to get POS machine for their business.

Imagine just the other day I went to a seller of building materials to buy two bags of cement and nails, the shop is filled with all sorts of building materials, even selling wheelbarrows, but the man does not have POS machine. Both of us went to the POS agent next door and I paid the person N200 to transfer the money from my card to man's account.

When I think of the fact that this man has brand new big gen that he puts on whenever there is no light, but till last week doesn't deem it important to acquire a POS machine I can't help but believe that Nigerians deserve to experience this cash confiscation.
Are you in Nigeria at all angry angry e be like say you never experience network problems before while using POS

2. RAM
RAM (random access memory) is key to computer performance, especially if you do lots of multitasking on your laptop – e.g. edit photos, write word docs, and browse the web all at once. The more RAM you have, the faster your laptop will be able to access data, and the more applications you can run smoothly at any one time. 4GB of RAM is the minimum. If you use lots of high-power software, look for 8GB or more...

Good day folks..

I don't know what's wrong with my Toshiba Satellite, the screen keeps going black/very dim. When I start it up, it will be very dim screen (but I can see it if I turn on torchlight into the screen) and after some time, it may come up, sometimes it doesn't come up, I have to switch off and on, press some buttons before the screen light comes up.
It's been like this for months now... Could it be a battery, Ram or screen problem??

Hello Nairalanders, please I need your help urgently as regards a banking transaction on my account

I have a Pos shop in Ibadan which I put someone there to manage for me, we accept card transaction and also transfer from bank.

It happened that on the 15th of October 2022, someone came to do transaction in my shop so he sent 20000 twice from Opay with the account name FOLAKE KOLAWOLE and the transaction was confirmed and the person paid his money.

To my greatest surprise last week Friday which happened to be 21st of October 2022,I received some money into my account and I realised the sum of 40000 naira was withheld in my account so on getting to the bank today 24th October,22 I was told the bearer FOLAKE KOLAWOLE reported the transaction as fraud and that was the reason the money was withheld.

I asked for the way forward and I was told I will have to contact the said kolawole folake so she can go to her bank and clear the transaction whereas there is no means to get the lady and no phone number attached.

So I am appealing to all and sundry if u know any kolawole folake that banks with Opay and did a transaction of 20000 twice to an access account so I can reach her or if there’s any other means

The document received from the bank is attached below
The Opay account she used is her phone number na... Just add zero and call her ASAP

Listen to me carefully everybody. If you’re a POS agent or operate a POS outlet, NEVER EVER ACCEPT TRANSACTIONS (inflow or outflow) FROM NIGERIANS using OPAY, PALMPAY or KUDA BANK ACCOUNTS.

Those accounts are the primary accounts of YAHOO BOYS. They are mainly used to divert fraudulent attention away from their mainstream Bank Accounts.

If any of your customers cannot transact with their mainstream Bank Accounts (e.g First Bank, GTBank, Access Bank, UBA e.t.c)

Tell them to fvck off - otherwise, you’ll land yourself or your business in big trouble.

If I’m doing any transactions with anybody and the person dares mention OPAY or KUDA, I immediately block them off and tag them scammers.

95% of every Nigerian (especially from this current generation) has an active genome of fraud, scam & wickedness in their DNA.

Yahoo Boys are free to masturbate on my mention.
You never ready for business be that... Probably still a baby in business cycle... We die here grin

The bank gave me only her name with no other details,I have messaged all kolawole folake I know on Facebook but I haven’t gotten any reply

There was no other details aside d name
You did whathuh E be like say them don scam you oooo.... As a POS agent, it is advisable not to accept transfers into your personal account... Use the POS account to accept the transfer if you don't have any current account... If you use POS or current account, chances are that you will tell the bank that it's a business account and that you did business with the supposed sender and was paid for it wink

Update 2:

I returned to my base on Wednesday and first went straight to my garden to see what was up with it.

First, I noticed that the drip irrigation for the pepper was the only one that worked.

The other two stopped at some point. So while the pepper looked fresh and was growing better and faster, the tomatoes was already sulking.

The groundnut was just there. Quickly had to pour water on the three of them, before resolving the issues with the drip irrigation.
I discovered that tomatoes need a lot of water for survival, I water them almost everyday if not they will start "sulking" like you said grin grin grin

It's just the normal fresh groundnut seeds you buy from the aboki guys carrying it in wheelbarrows.

Just open the shell and bring out the one or two seeds inside. That's what you would be planting.

I've not had that experience yet and this is actually my first time of planting pepper, so I'd be looking out for that when it's the time.

Besides, this is being done on a small scale, and on my balcony so it would be pretty controlled.
Can you please share the manure you use for the plants and how often you apply them??
