The beautiful thing is that what that 'devil" said is provable. Every Nigerian walking the street, provided he/she has his/her ears and eyes opened, can obviously see that the "devil" is right. In fact, if we want to be sincere to ourselves, we don't need waiting for the "devil's " declaration before knowing it acceding to what he referred to. The "devil" isn't telling us what we don't already know. His saying it doesn't make it less true.

He should talk to us about the probability of his being in jail, ... or rigging elections, using the Army, when his mentor was president, ... or his jokes about contesting and winning the presidency. Those too are provable.

It means he accuses humans before God, and God is compelled to listen if what the devil says is verifiable and tenable, especially when backed by the Word of God. So, the message source or motive not withstanding, the uttered word can still stand if verifiable.

Let's bring it down on a temporal level. Do you still believe a devil telling us that he's not a devil but another he'd definitely have destroyed if he had the chance?

There are people I don't waste my time on. They're examples of what not to be. You don't expect me to listen to a fellow who put down his mother just to get at another person. I am only here because he's denigrating and wishing that somebody whom he perceived may be harmful to him be sent to oblivion. I may not say much should Junaid, Falana, Obj, Sanusi and their likes criticize Buhari, but certainly not people like Fayose, FFK, GEJ or Omokri and anything that looks like them. I consider Fayose more harmful to me and the polity than Buhari.
