Please recommend tutorial centers in lagos for CIMA

Please for an HND graduate of Biz Admin & Mgt with 2.5yrs working experience, is it better to go for professional certification, PGD or MBA?

Are the PGD forms on sale?
How long will it take to complete the program?

You just learned that ACCA is not beans. Yes we know you have been preparing since and you even posted update on it here but sister please be encouraged.

Those who pass it for the first time are just like you, what you need is to change your method of preparation, I know you spent cash for the exam but take heart, this 2020 is not a year to be discouraged at all.... The whole world failed this year, some weak people committed suicide just to escape it but there is light at the end of this dark tunnel.

God is your strength and if you restrategize for 2021 you will excel. You have every right to cry and feel bad but you should not back down.

I just need encouragement from anyone who has been in my shoes.

I recently had an unsuccessful attempt at my MA exam, I got a little above 40%. I'm just really disappointed in myself, I have been preparing for this exam since March.

I know people hardly talk about their failures...

But mehnnn this the most painful thing I have experienced in my entire life. I have never failed an exam before.

Please I need some encouragement....I don't know how to start all over.

Apparently I had speaking with the Developer of the house and not the Landlord himself.

So this Developer's contract is almost over and he doesn't want to incure any cost, that is why he has been reluctant with the issue.

For clarity purposes:

1) I live in a self contained and my rent is N170k.
2) The estimate given to me by the carpenter I called for assessment was for the entire house of 11 rooms (he wasn't very clear when I asked from the beginning) I thought the estimate was for just my room.
PS: ALL THE ROOMS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE.

RESOLUTION:
We have agreed to contribute and repair the roof and the cost will deducted from our rent.

Please call a carpenter to access the leakage. If it's something you can afford just do the patch and move on. Our people say it is where you live that you take care of. I'm all for treating a house you are renting like the house you built yourself. May God keep providing for you.

I have done the accessment....it will take up more than a year's rent.

Hello everyone... please advice me.

My landlord is ignoring me.

My house is leaking.... very very badly. I have complained to him on several occasions and he has done absolutely nothing about it.
I have been experiencing this issue since the rain started this year.

And this man doesn't give a damn about it.

When it rains everywhere will be soaked.

NB: I moved in during the dry season last year. This is something I wouldn't have known.

What can I do...I really want him to pay for this...it is sincerely not fair...the worst part of everything is...he doesn't care.

What can I do??

Both are very challenging.
If you write ICAN you must be ready for surprises in every question paper. Especially at the last 2 stages.
ACCA will stick to the syllabus, for instance if a topic takes 20% of the syllabus according to the brochure, it won't take more than 20% of the questions in the exam or 20% of the marks.
But ICAN will tell you that as a professional you are supposed to know everything. I wrote a paper twice when we had Financial Reporting and Ethics together. Syllabus said both are 50% of the questions to be expected. First time I wrote, FR was 95% and Ethics 5%. The second time I passed FR was 30% and Ethics was 70%.
That is the reason why some people believe ACCA is a bit easier to pass, it's more expensive though. But if you can afford it, I will recommend ACCA. Only go for ICAN if you believe in yourself!

ACCA is actually my choice.. the thing is I'm really worried about the cost, I'm currently not earning much... I'm hoping to hear from someone who has gone through the entire exam to give me a break down, it will help me to make up my mind.
