Hi checking in. This seems like a promising thread, wishing you the best of luck on your business venture. Just want to clarify, does the $20 charge per kilo include your services and shipping cost from where you are down to abk/ibadan? |
Mr, Slick, i really enjoyed the story. I even felt sorry for you when your laptop got stolen, i saluted you when you said you will continue the updates from your phone, but guy, you dey fall my hand with the way you are dragging out the dying embers of this tale! Biko, lets conclude this tale so we can move on to the next horror show |
Thanks Mikky for securing all the items. Just hoping the shipment and arrival in Nigeria is sooner than expected |
mamaaustin: Hi, I know this is a thread for people shipping goods from China to Nigeria, but do you ship goods the other way around i.e. Nigeria to China?Hi, sorry it took so long to respond back. Ok, the address is room 1023; Yifu trade market Gang Juan Xi Road Yuexiu district Guangzhou China let me know if you can deliver to this address, how much it will cost, how long it will take to deliver, and how I can get the package across to you here in 9ja. Thanks |
My labour experience was awful. I was 40wks and experienced spotting early one morning. At the insistence of my mum, I went to the hospital for a check up. Whilst the doctor examined me and checked my records, he actually inserted tablets to induce labour without informing me. I only found out when he gave me a bill to replace the items he had used. I was then placed on admission and experienced contractions on and off for 48hrs. However I discharged myself from the hospital after 12hrs of no attendance from a doctor @ the maternity ward (it was rumoured the doctors were on strike or they had gone home for Christmas). The following day I registered @ another private but well recommended hospital and spent most of the day doing tests and scans to complete my medical history. By 5pm that same evening my waters broke and the contractions began. I went back to the second hospital and was sent to the maternity ward where I experienced pain unimaginable to man for the next 7hrs (I was refused an epidural because I was supposedly so far gone). When I was finally sufficiently dilated, my baby's big head got stuck and couldn't come out. The only way forward was for CS. My husband was called in, given a situation analysis and asked to sign consent forms. By my calculations, I had 20 mind-numbing contractions while waiting to be prepared for the surgery and was begging for anesthetic throughout. It was sweet relief when it was finally administered and I blacked out. By the time I woke up back in the maternity ward I was sore, covered in blood and the pain was horrendous. Am just glad my son and I came out okay from the whole ordeal, but he go wait tire before he has a sibling, and no be 9ja I go try round two. They really tried for me @ that second hospital, but generally, Nigerian hospitals are a case of 'your money or your life' where the more you pay the better the service you receive. |
Hi everyone, I just received the blackberry bold 5's that I ordered from Mikky. The phones sweet ohhhh! This transaction I have made through a Nairalander has been the best yet. Everything was transparent and the shipping time very fast. This just me saying thanks to Mikky for a job well done. |
Hi, I know this is a thread for people shipping goods from China to Nigeria, but do you ship goods the other way around i.e. Nigeria to China? I have a tablet pc i want to ship to the seller for fixing and need a cheaper means of shipping than EMS which wants to charge me 15,000! |
What's your budget? I have one for sale: leather pouch, 3G, Bluetooth, sim card slot, 1gig ram. More details on request |
mikkyangel: Mama Austin, great news, great job and great thread! Awaiting THE call and then all roads lead to lag. Austin says 'wazzup!' by the way |
I am totally hooked by your story. I feel as if I am in the centre of the plot. Well done and can't wait for your update |
Hi OP, is this the first time you are coming across questions that have no answer options since you have been solving JAMB past questions (especially mathematics). This will help determine if the answer options omission was intentional or an oversight. Thanks |
patsucess: i am into gold business the price is the same everywhere in the world the trick in buying gold is when it is down and sell when it rise and take your profits mallam should not have been your option here because those guys buy gold that are very cheap and wasted once for that matter so my dear you will not make anything from buying and selling gold to mallam as you think except you want to sell your wasted gold to them for some cash not profits or maybe you can buy used gold coin from ebay which are very cheap to sell to mallam but ebay has is own challenge too.hi. @kunletoks, sorry to hijacking your thread but I have a question to ask. @patsuccess; thanks for your interesting post. I am interested in your experience of buying used coins from ebay. What are the possible challenges and possible buyers of these coins in 9ja. Is it only mallams that buy such coins? |
Double post |
mikkyangel: Anty Bold 5 never reach ohh, but definately both will get to me before i ship out!...thanks for your patience..am very much interested in the ear pieces. Pls purchase one set for me if it will meet up with your next shipment. If it won't meet up to be shipped with the phones, then we can leave it till another transaction. Thanks |
Thanks for those that viewed. Phone has been sold. |
@the free enterprise: my comments are there for all to see. The issue I asked to differ in opinion on was where you said that mikky should go ahead to buy the phones just to keep the peace with beatbug. I didn't say that tempers should continue to flare, but I don't advocate that one should be put @ a disadvantage just to be seen as a good person @mikky, abeg oga how far? Have the bold 5's arrived at your place yet? |
the funclub enterprise: I seriously recommend you should be calm in dealing with this issue mikky.i beg to differ. I think Mikky stated upfront that 50% should be paid before items can be purchased. Beatbug has only fulfilled those terms for the laptop, so I think Mikky should go ahead to ship the laptop and let Beatbug clear his item. And @Beatbug, if you cldnt even pay a deposit on the blackberry bold 5 you wanted urgently for a customer, how did you plan to clear it when it arrived in Lagos? Do people even consider Mikky's side in all of this? He said he has so many items in his warehouse right now that people are yet to clear....is it not his money that has been left hanging? When I made my order I had to pay 100% upfront, maybe that should be made to apply to everybody to avoid misunderstandings |
Hey Mikky, keep the fire burning. Please let me know when the bold 5 phones arrive yet, so I will know if they will meet up with your next shipment. Hope shipping date is still for this Thursday? Thanks |

Livic: Thanks for the responses. I am presently in the US. and would be willing to colabo with suitable peoples. I would like to know the products you want to bring in, then do the market survey and demand of it here to see if it is profitable then we can start to proceed bit by bit. My mail is trjbiz@aol.com .Looking forward to hearing from you. I am located in New Jersey which is close to the port.Hi Livic, I sent you mail, Please respond soon. Thanks |
How many pens do you need? And how soon do you need them? |
Abagworo: My gardener is paid 15k while the Gateman is paid 25k. The gardener works for many people and they each pay 10 to 15k. So don't look down on a gardener. He could be earning up to 150 to 200k per month. In fact all those people you mentioned earn nothing less than 20k a month. Are you using the salary you pay your house workers as the benchmark that is paid across Nigeria? I hope not I know of primary school workers paid 6k per month, gardeners paid 10k and not given the opportunity to freelance, cleaners paid 13k, househelps who are given 6k per month (and that is even considered as very generous), drivers who are paid 30k and have 5 dependents, and even local government workers who earn less than 20k per month. This is the reality that surrounds me day in day out. I have lived in Lagos, Bauchi, Osun, Plateau and Ogun state; and things like this exist in all of them. |
Its actually quite feasible. A family of 4 people with a net income of =N=20,000 per month is living on less than $1.00 per day. How much are house boys, house girls, gardeners and gatemen paid per month? What of private primary school teachers (those working in mushroom schools?) what of petty traders, hawkers, drivers, cleaners, artisans etc. How many millions of Nigerians fall under this category? Considering also that lower income families tend to have larger families of four or more children, makes the statistics too much of a possibility |
