Despite the breakup, we still remained in contact and continue to keep in touch. I let her visit me a couple of times whenever she flew in to the state. She lives in a different state from me. But I noticed recently that she is always talking about coming to my house. for example she says thing like. "Whenever I am free, I'll fly in to see you" etc. I live with my two children and I don't if it is wise to let her into my house after all I don't know her that well. And the fact that she is always asking about my daughter almost everytime adds to the uncertainty of her motives. What do I do?[/color]

He asked her how I'm doing in school and then my mother replied I am doing very good in school and then he came to our house few hours later to spend the New Year with us. He has never asked about me before. He has always behave like he has something against me. I was surprised when he even mentioned my name. What do you think precipitated this strange curiosity?[/color]

[color=deeppink]Hi nairalanders, my mother and I travelled to Arizona for my mother's graduation. And it also happened that one of my mom's wannabe friends also came with her daughter. After the graduation, we planned to visit the Grand Canyon. On reaching the Grand Canyon, we went to the store to buy some souvenirs and my mother openly said "I don't know which jacket to buy for my son because he is so tall and skinny" and my mother's wannabe friend said " Charles is tall and skinny too". Charles by the way is her son. And I replied " He's 6'7" . I was referring to my brother by the way and her daughter said in a shocking manner, " He's 6'7?" and Then said " Charles is only about 6 foot. Her mother had nothing to say but through her facial expression, I sensed she felt put down and humbled. And after that she wanted to take every photo with my mother. She sat next to my mother in almost every picture.

What do you all think? I feel really bad but part of me thinks if she didn't try being boastful I wouldn't have said that to begin with. After all, her son isn't tall to start with.[/color]

[color=deeppink]Okay, I know this sounds weird but one of my friends calls me almost every night and the first thing she asks me is how are my children doing? and then she moves on to tell me that David has moved out of the house and then after a month or so she tells me Stephanie has moved and then after a year or so she tells me Kathy has moved. I find this very bizarre and makes me think what could be her motive behind this information.

[color=deeppink]Why does my mother always try to use me. She always wants me to go to occassions with her even when her friends invited her. I am 21 yrs old btw. I currently live at home because I am currently attending Community College and this has been going on for sometime now. It's also really awkward how she always wants to schedule hair appointments for me by contacting her friends to get the number of their own hairdressers and funny thing is she always wants me to go there but she never goes to her friend's salon for a hair do, she'll instead go to professionals. Plus she can never honor an invitation unless I agree to come with her for the party and she automatically tells her friends that I'll be coming with her. She always wants to get closer to me and be nice when I want to distance myself away but then goes right back to who she is the moment I try to get closer again
