Hello everyone, am new to this thread but not new on nairaland. I recently had a miscarriage after trying to conceive for about 16months, at first I was crushed and dying in self pity but I have realised that would do more harm than good. I believe that its just a phase everyone has their cross this is mine and God helping me I will overcome and I shall testify.

Thank you all for the words of encouragement. I pray that God will perfect all that concerns us. Any advice on what to do after a miscarriage.Have been blaming myself for going for a scan at nine weeks, maybe it was the scan that killed my baby.I am even yet to tell my DH that am bleeding, i feel like have failed him.

Hello all, have been so crushed, went for scan and was told they could not find a heartbeat, to say am sad is an understatement, i cant believe God will make me go through this pain after waiting. Have i not suffered enough.

@prettyrosefave Yes Dr smith monitored my ovulation, he was the one that finally convinced me to to the HSG test, and he recommended Prisms in surulere and the test was not as painful as expected.

Everyone I would like to use this medium to share my testimony.Just last month I went to do HSG, the result showed that my tubes were blocked and that i had multiple fibroids. I went to Holy Ghost convention this September and the theme was "God will make you laugh' I prayed to God for a miracle that would defy what the doctor's report says.

To cut the long story short, I got my BFP last week, Some join me in shouting HALLELUYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To God be all the glory.

Have gone for the HSG, it was quite painless.Doctors diagnosis says multiple fibroid (although he said the fibroids are not a problem) and the tubes look like there's a blockage. But that's the report of the doctor, the report of the Lord says I am healed and I and everyone in this thread looking up to him shall not be called barren we shall be called mothers. That is the report i choose to believe.

@ Blendy, I went to Dr Smith he has scheduled me for HSG at Prism. Right now am so scared i was hoping i wont have to do this test.

Any one with ideas of how one should prepare for this test please share.

Good day all,have been a silent reader for a while now.I must confessed have been inspired by so many people on this thread.I have been ttc now for over two years but nothing yet. Have not gone to see any doctor cos am even confused where to start. I discussed with my friend if i should go straight to a fertility hospital but she advised that i see a gyne first that fertility hospitals are expensive. Kindly advise me. cheers...
