Business / Re: CBN To Banks: Sell Forex To BDCs - Nairametrics by Mamog(m): 12:05pm On Jul 23, 2016
Even if u bring the combination of Ben Bernanke,Janet Yellen, Charles Soludo, Joseph Sanusi, Emir Sanusi, Mark Carney, Jean-Claude Trichet, the current heads of both IMF and World bank to manage Nigerian CBN they will still struggle to succeed because the problem is not with the CBN management but president Buhari himself.
He stated some time ago that experts have not been able to convince him on the need to 'murder the naira'. This statement of his shows he is fully in charge of the monetary policies what I don't understand is why Emefiele has not yet resigned.

designking:
Just sack the CBN governor Emeifele and replace him with a more experienced person, our economy will stabilize quickly. The CBN has contributed more than 50% of the economic challenges in this country.

Our weak FX policy is the single killer of our economy.

The performance of this man has been woeful ever since he was unmeritedly picked by GEJ to replace emir sanusi. The economy is nosediving under his watch and all he has to offer are continuos excuses. I hope buhari sacks him asap and replace him with a competent Cbn governor

GEJisBOKO:
Those boys are ijaw militants. There were guarding before buhari canceled the pipeline protection contract that Gej gave them, but they werent disarmed. It is these same ijaw militants that have been terrorising people in Ikorodu and Ogun state. They are well known. And if you must also know, an igbo motorcyclist who just got back from work was also shot and killed when the ijaw militants were running back with their speedboat after they invaded iyana iba through the waterways yesterdays night
If your assertions are right then they are certainly OPC men who are carrying out the criminality because GEJ awarded pipeline protection contract for Lagos( atlas cove-Mosimi) to Otunba Gani faction of OPC an mosimi-Ibadan to Dr Fedrick Fasheun faction of OPC.

Bunch of noise makers

This is not the kind of statements we need at this time.. we need solidarity and unity to defend ourselves against these criminal and our very weak government security agencies. People are being killed from kano, kaduna, bornu, adamawa, benue, enugu, rivers, bayelsa, delta ogun and now Lagos without anything being done to stop it. Is Human life no more sacred that we make this kind of comments because it does not affect our family members?
In the days of aluta we were told an injury to on is an injury to all.. we have totally lost it as a nation and we desperately need the mercies of God. You don't spill the blood of the innocent and expect the good of of land.
On the ikorodu and those bordering ogun communities issue I strongly recommend the engagement of OPC before state police is approved.. I know OPC has the capacity to help, they are just being silent because they were demonized by th yoruba elites when GEJ gave them surveillance contract to protect that same area and if you can recall while doing that same job they lost 4 of their men and yoruba elites Called them names instead of mourning with them.
The criminals terrorizing those areas are not Niger Delta militants but pipeline vandals consisting of people of different tribes including ijaw, urhobo, yoruba, igbo, and even nationalities of Benin and Togo who are known to both soldiers, police, Navy, DSS and politicians in both Lagos an ogun state they know what to do to stop it but they are not ready.

Infants every where.. now let me enlighten you on this subject:
1. Not a single dime was paid for that job. Government Is still owing Gani and other 6 contractors who executed that job.
2. Both factions of OPC lost 6 of their members while trying to protect our national asset an no compensation was paid to them by government.
3. Local / community policing remains the only solution for pipeline vandalism as result on ground clearly shows that government security forces cannot do it better.
4. What Gani said has nothing to do with a job he executed for government which government has refused to pay for . Spoke on true federalism.

frenchwine:
Gani Adams and the multibillion pipeline protection contract he received is still walking free while Tompolo who received a similar contract is being haunted. Naija I dab for our justice system.
Politics / Re: Breaking: The Man Behind MEND, Avengers And JNDLF Revealed by Mamog(m): 8:46am On Jun 17, 2016
Did any Nigerian or foreign media outfit ever displayed the war ships bought by Tompolo? They never did because it's false but if you have the pix please share it for all to see.
What Tompolo bought at that time was decommissioned boat from Norway which was in turn handed over to the Nigerian Navy for the surveillance contract awarded by NIMASA to Global West a company owned by Tompolo.
The Nigerian Navy through NIMASA I still in possession of those boats and you can verify this fact.
You people create the monster of Tompolo owning war ships and anti aircraft launcher and they are now using the tale against you guys. Let APC come out clean that TOMPOLO does no have the capacity to launch missiles then they would have eaten their words that Tompolo bought anti air craft boats.
http://leadership.ng/news/395960/tompolo-bought-boats-navy-not-warships-nimasas-dg
On your conspiracy theories of the man behind MEND, Avengers , others.. No comment either you have a privileged information or you are simply hallucinating .

ludamix:
Something very fishy is going on in the Niger
Delta.

This news house believes that The Movement for
the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND),
Niger Delta Avengers and the Joint Niger Delta
Liberation Force, are working for/controlled by
one person.
That person is Government Ekpemupolo, AKA
Tompolo.

Hear us out.
Who is Tompolo?
The Nigerian State tagged Tompolo as the most
wanted man between 2006 and 2009. He is a
prominent figure within MEND.
He and his boys terrorized State oil workers and
installations in the Delta region. He was later
granted amnesty and became a top confidant to
former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Goodluck granted Tompolo a contract to handle
maritime security issues for the Nigerian
Maritime Administration and Safety Agency,
NIMASA.
Under this guise, Tompolo bought Norwegian
naval battleships and combat six fast-speed
Hauk-class guided missile boats.
Please remember the word SIX!
Simply put: A “former” militant officially owns
warships and boats with fully loaded missiles.
And not just any missile, but surface to air
missiles which can shoot down planes.

Then Goodluck lost the election and “New”
militant groups surfaced.
Let that sink.

Who is Avengers and Joint Niger Delta Liberation
Force?
They are militants. They promised to launch SIX
missiles. Avengers, begged Joint Niger Delta
Liberation Force to shelve missile launching.
They agreed willy-nilly.
Out of the blues, Tompolo distanced himself from
the violence wrecked by the “New” militant
groups describing it as a “dastardly act.”
Then Tompolo turns around at Buhari and says
“He (Buhari) should allow the people of the Niger
Delta region to know peace, otherwise he will not
know peace as well.”
Then Avengers and Joint Niger Delta Liberation
Force threatens Tompolo.
Tompolo flees to Libya (According to Avengers).
How did they know this?

Coincidentally, GEJ, Buhari and reportedly OBJ
met in London for different purposes. Days after
their coincidental meeting, Avengers announces
a truce and were ready to dialogue with Buhari.
Remember that Tompolo ALONE has the
capacity to launch SIX MISSILES.

Here is the shocker!
MEND, who supposedly has nothing to do with
Niger Delta Avengers and Joint Niger Delta
Liberation Force names prominent Niger Deltans
that will dialogue with Buhari.

You heard us well. MEND, not Niger Delta
Avengers, not Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force,
named their dialogue team.
Recall that Since Henry Okah’s incarceration,
one Gbomo Jomo, who we believe is Tompolo
assumed leadership of MEND.
So MEND announced a seven-member team, led
by Odein Ajumogobia, a former Minister of
Petroleum, to dialogue with the Federal
Government. MEND and Tompolo are supposed
to be at loggerheads with Avengers, right?
Na lie!

Their dialogue team includes Bismark Rewane,
Florence Ita-Giwa, Timipa Jenkins Okponipere,
Ledum Mitee, Lawson Omokhodion and Ibanga
Isine.

This is the shocker! Wait for it….
Mr. Gbomo Jomo stated that other members of
the negotiating team would be made public in
due course after consultations with relevant
stakeholders.
Synopsis and deductions from this analysis are
these:
1.Tompolo heads MEND.
2.Tompolo is Gbomo Jomo
3.Tompolo alone has the capacity to launch SIX
missiles
4.If MEND and Avengers are “quarrelling,” how
come MEND is the group nominating and putting
together a dialogue team for Avengers?
You get our drift?
A drama is happening in Niger Delta and
Tompolo knows the actors.

What are you actually supporting, is that the President is above the law or that he succeeded in deceiving Nigerians before election that he has a certificate?
Why hiring SAN's he should just present his NEPA bill after all Zonbies have already replaced his certificate with his NEPA bill..

Politics / Re: Kachikwu Vs Amaechi: I Disagree With Kachikwu, Retrieve Money First by Mamog(m): 1:51pm On Jun 14, 2016
its your type that supports PMB's abandonment of governance to pursue treasury looters. look at where we are today.a failed economy.
Can you please tell me:
1. why did PMB not abandon the war on Boko haram till all looted funds by Dasuki and the military top men are retrieved
2. Why did PMB not order the closure of NNPC till all monies supposedly looted by Deziani is recovered
3. Why did the Nigerian not proceed on compulsory leave till Saraki's issue is closed
4. Why did PMB not close NIMASA who paid those monies till those monies are retrieved.
5. why didn't Wike abandon governance in rivers state until Amaechi returns the money he misappropriated on his mono rail project?
now on the issue of maritime university.
6.So because a mechanic swindled you while carrying repairs on your vehicle you will abandon the vehicle with him till returns the peanut he stole from you.
7. why did government not stop oil exportation till all vandals and militants have been arrested..

we are this backward as a nation because people like you support mediocrity because of tribe or party affiliation. the Hon Minister of State for Petroleum asked a simple question ' should we throw away the baby and the bath water' you and Amaechi should answer that question.
what if the land speculators refused to return the money received for the land and are prepared to die will you auction their corpse to retrieve the money?
Please re think .. you are on the wrong side of logic and you are not making any sense at all

TheGoodJoe:
I watched the Kachikwu vs Amaechi video going viral online and I see majority supporting Kachikwu's point. Continuing the project.

I disagree because the Fraud is too much. Hon. Amaechi proved in Rivers State that he can achieve befitting projects when he has the money.

Hon. Amaechi’s point:
"I am not against the University. I hope you people appreciate that. My argument about Okerenkoko is that the land alone is N13 billion. That N13 billion has built the university already so there is no need to spend more money. Let EFCC retrieve the money from them and then release them and we would build the University."

I do not understand what is wrong in this statement. The money is enough to purchase the land and build the University. The point is clear. Continuing with the project means supporting a monumental fraud.

Hon. Kachikwu's point:
“First let me say on Maritime University, I disagree with the minister of transport. Any facility that is placed in the south south, we should work towards developing it. I don’t care the circumstances under which we are placed… It is not my position to determine whether land was valued at N19 billion or N10 billion or N3 billion. The appropriate institutions which are the court systems will determine that."

I do not understand what people are applauding in this statement. Is Hon. Amaechi against the Maritime University? No. Amaechi clearly stated that when he retrieves the money, he will build the University.

Kachikwu said he is not in position to determine the valuation of the land. Please, this is ridiculous. We ars talking of the valuation of the project.

Amaechi is saying that the money is enough to buy the land and build the university. A minister should be able to value a project.

Amaechi was right and I wonder why people is celebrating Kachikwu's point. This is a case of stopping a fraud. Going on with the project is detrimental to the development of the project.

Below are pics of an Hon. Amaechi project which was close to the cost for just the land for this University project. Golf Estate Port-Harcourt.

This does not justify the collapse of Economy which has resulted in massive job loss and hyper inflation, what has led us us present situation is government Failed policy on Forex, absence of any workable economic Road map, de marketing of Brand Nigeria by PMB and PMB personal vendetta

Realdeals:
what President Buhari and his team promised us before last elections is CHANGE! Change means clear departure from the normal. It is a definite step from away from the usual. The usual before March 28th, 2015 election was impunity, poor leadership and directionless nation.
Change is an act or process through which something becomes different. We all agreed our nation has been on a wrong direction for long. From military era to the immediate past government, Nigeria was enmeshed in corruption. Everyone, including the deaf, heard clearly Buhari’s promise of change. In my view, president Buhari has kept faith with this promise in the last one year. Pains and some hardship tag along this change, but we as a people must learn to defer pleasure with little pains today.
His stands on corruption fight, which we all taunt as our major enemy leaves no one in doubt. What I feel the concerns of Nigeria enemies are the tenacity and brutality on how the corruption war is being fought. Before you conclude Buhari is fighting opposition party members alone, please take an objective question on who were those in the helms of Nigeria affairs in the last 16 years of retrogression? The revelations on how money meant to fight Boko Haram war was shared among heartless people in power should be a thing of concern to you. The callousness, unpatriotic and perfidy of minds these people have are beyond imaginations.
President Buhari’s corruption fight in the last one year has been steadily focus with results. Just few weeks ago, we had the first corruption victim, Ex – NIMASA boss, Raymond Omatseye jailed for 5 years over 1.5bn contract scam. National Publicity Secretary, PDP, Olisha Metuh is having his days in court over corruption as well as Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who incidentally is a top member of APC. We have never heard such heart leaping news in the last 7 years, particularly under our immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan. It never happened. Such is one change Nigerians voted for last elections.

and while your hypocritical self feign ignorance of PMB's achievement in less than a year, I bring to global notice the following so that u can be assessed:
1. Security is the most important factor in any development plant. in less than a year PMB has won the war on Security especially the Bokharam which d GEJ administration pampered for 6 years.
2. Corruption is now being properly tackled ,n now stealing is now corruption u like GEJ who openly supported it. Presidend Buhari knows that corruption is inimical to any growth n resource distribution among citizens hence we Nigerians who voted for him are not disappointed by his anti corruption approach so far. Several members of the last administration and previous governments are returning looted public funds;while some are facing prosecution.
3. investors now have confidence in the nation and are already coming in to invest.
4.Several youths eg corp members are getting agric loans up to N2m each for agribusiness. go ask Bank of Industry
5. in few weeks time about 10million primary school pupils would be served a free meal daily with chains of jobs attached to it.
6. There is a serious and sincere plan by the government to unleash our potential in d mining business -a multi billion dollar sector. so far about N500m have been made from license registration n renewal alone.
1. Security has reduced so much that oil facilities are being short down leading to drop in revenue and power supply.
2. Corruption is wiped out now that is why CBN and top government officials are round tripping our forex. Taking from CBN at official rate and selling at the black market
3. Investors confidence has grown up that is why companies are shutting down and laying off staff on a daily basis at a rate worse than 1984 (refer to NBS)
4. Several youth got agricultural loan on what basis? Was it advertised for? How were they selected? Oh I forgot just like they employed their families in CBN and Immigration service. Nepotism and tribalism at its peak
5.10 million will be fed in 2 weeks? That is still futuristic.
6. Serious sincere plan that is hidden for 10months now? Show me was what I asked not speculation.
Now we may disagree on valuation processes but it does not change the fact that this government is very insincere. Let me remind you that petrol subsidy is back..
Policy somersault is the hallmark of incompetence. If he PMB were to be my employee I would have sacked him in 3 months into his appointment.

We had a deal with Buhari for 4years!!

Don't start writing poo just after 1year... If 2019 comes, and you don't like Buhari, present your Candidate!!

We will meet at the polls!!

For now, remain quiet and Observe!! Baba is having a meeting with Obama!! Don't make noise!!

On diversifying the economy what is PMB's plan
On improving power. What is PMB's plan
On employment generation what is PMB's plan
On improved infrastructure what is PMB's plan
Please no speculation state the obvious plan.
I know u will struggle to name any plan and that is the problem.
Nigerians are aware that PMB has a four year mandate out of which 10 months is gone already the issue is we don't want anybody to take us for a ride.. it is better to booth this government out now if the signs are that they will take us backward instead of giving them the freedom to destroy our collective future.
Do you wait till cancer is full blown before you commence treatment or you commence treatment at the earliest stage?

Politics / Re: What if Belgian Govt Condemned Agatu & Not Brussels massacre - Ben Bruce by Mamog(m): 6:13am On Mar 31, 2016
The problem is that Ben Bruce is yet to understand that Buhari lacks common sense...
It's like armed rubbers came to your community where you are the head and murdered over 500 of your subjects and on their way out stopped at the nearby community and killed 30 people. What did u do as the leader? You kept mute like nothing happened in your community and then paid a solidarity visit to the other community to pay condolence. Even leaders who orchestrates the killing of his own people still show public condemnation.. I wonder what we have brought upon ourselves
