It was a gathering of whi is who. So many governors, ministers and even the Vice President was there,. Enugu was shutdown for that ceremony. I have never seen such crowd at that time. Ojukwu arrived the venue in his stretch Mercedes Limo and Ojukwu’s convoy to his bride’s village seemed like it was10 miles long! It was a big carnival that day.
