Family › Re: Opinion: Why Government Should Arrest Unmarried Men Above 30 by Manculated: 1:26pm On Feb 15, 2025 |
Cityqueengirl: In this age and time, it's important to build a family and live a responsible life taking care of your wife and children.
Gociety grows based on conformity. Men who stay unmarried from 30 years upwards without a wife are non-conformist and create an imbalance in the society. They are also problematic in the society because they feel they are not responsible for anyone neither are they committed to anyone. Majority of them also find it easy to engage in crimes.
If they have a wife they are committed to, crime of any nature will not be an option to them. Also it is important to note that having children helps society to grow new ideas and vibrant economy. When you get married, you have children, the children grow to be successful geniuses.
This can only be achieved when the government steps in. There is no reason why a man should not be married to a woman even before the age of 30. The government should come in order to stop Promiscuity. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂 Go arrest your papa for house fess. Shey na by Force to marry. |

Career › Re: My January Salary Withheld by Manculated: 8:48pm On Feb 11, 2025 |
1phone: Background: I was employed 2-month ago and the job was a full time job. It's more of inventory in a luxury firm. It's a one- man business operated by husband and wife.
I was given a responsibility of handling the inventory aspect which I will submit on an Excel format(which must include all pictures of the stock keeping unit of above 1000) I took my time to study the process and counted every stock and submitted. The company/shop did not have any primary data before now.
Towards mid January, while still on the excel, the wife brought one software which she said she want to use for sale and that I should continue uploading the items. I suspended the Excel and continued with the software. Her culture before now which I got from old staff was to use inventory officer to count her stock and sack them at the end of 3--month and she always get away with that since no appointments letter until end of 3month.
The wife now insist on not paying me January salary with flimsy excuses of not getting my report on time . Is that a valid reason? What should be the next line of action for me now that I don't have a letter of appointment? You are wasting your life away working for Nigerian one man business and family business. Better locate the nearest FARM or go learn a new skill. You will appreciate your life in the nearest future. Currently, A lot of illiterates in Nigeria have more Capital and Prospect than most Academic people. If you are still doing any salary Job below 500k in this current Nigeria with no any form of Daily Egunje You have no future. Na STREETS better money and connection dey nowadays in Nigeria. |

Nazgul: Exactly what I wanted to say. We have weak and nonfunctional labour unions in Nigeria that's why employers would keep enslaving their staffs.
Also most Nigerians are desperate. They just want something doing regardless of the working conditions of the place and the amount they receive. Most employers take advantage of their desperation to treat them badly. This is the worst thing that can happen to any Job Hunter in Nigeria most especially with "MOST" one man or family businesses. Say goodbye to your Mental Health, Career Growth, Self-Esteem, Social Life ETC... I have been there once and i learnt one of the hardest lessons of my life. |

Afterall, You can then choose to learn a skill or trade. Dedicated at least twelve months to this course. I'm certain you will experience breakthrough. You will marvel if many successful people in Nigeria tells you "TRUTH" what they did and went through before they become successful. |

Philogeny4: Mods Please Ensure this gets to the frontpage today due to the urgency and sensitivity of the matter.
It took me a lot of guts to bring up this matter here because I already know the reactions by majority of Nairalanders. I know I will be lampooned, lambasted, dragged, trolled and insulted. But no problems.
In 2018, I traveled to the village and collected some charms. These are charms for fortification and protection against Bullets, Bottles, knives, and other harmful objects. At the time, I had nobody to speak sense into me. Also I felt I acted on Impulse. When I was given, I was tested. A cutlass was used to cut me but it didn't penetrate. A Dane gun was used to shoot at me but it didn't penetrate. That was the first time I ever experienced this, I thought all these never existed for real.
The thing is more like a community thing, we did it openly. I didn't go to a native doctor elsewhere. It was done right in my community, almost all the youths in that community and clan were fortified so as to help them in time of wars and fights against the Fulani herdsmen who come to attack once in a while. Outsiders are not welcomed.
You have the one u can tie around your waist, your arm, neck, rings for slap and others. There's a particular one that tells u of a impending and imminent danger. I was also given some conditions on how to handle the materials. I witnessed one that disappeared from my room immediately I took it home, I went back to the Native men only to find it there. I was told I allowed a woman on her menstrual flow to enter my room reason it disappeared.
I don't fight, I don't look for troubles and I'm not expecting any trouble, fight or war. I'm not a villager. Also, civilization has made me decide that I want to return them, I don't have any use for them anymore. I was told never to burn or allow any pastor to burn them or dispose them if and when I feel no need for them again. That I should rather return them back so that the necessary things would be done on me. My place is very far, I stay in the North. I need to travel home. I want to serve my God now. Even if I don't serve God, I don't see the need for all these. What if I want to get married and my woman sees these charms? I know Politicians do same, but I am not a politician. I need Help RELIGION & POVERTY These two things will never leave Nigeria. The End of the Tales lol, I know say na there weeerey go end his Moonlight Tales Well una go still see una stupid customers😂 |
