What happened during GEJ Horrifying tenure;

1. Immediate hike in fuel price rates

2. Corruption at its peak since he does not believe stealing is corruption.

3. Bad international relationships with many African countries and the whole world... In short we are not respected.

4. Kidnap of over 300 girls courtesy of negligence to tackle boko haram as at when due.

5. Death of over 15, 000 in less than a year in Hot zones in the north.

Abi u wan make i continuehuh?
So up till now, you neva understand that Chibok kidnap has K-leg, it was political.

Up till now you don't see the ethnic bigotry as Catholic Cardinal, Catholic Bishops, Nobel laureate, Retired Military Generals, Students Union leaders, etc, of the self-acclaimed most sophisticated Yoruba tribe backed Buhari with academic deficiency to become presidential of Nigeria? It's like a man who has wings to fly backing a crippled man to come to come and lead him.

Ethnic bigotry was behind that.

Op, you waste time highlighting these things.

Even if Nigeria's economy tumbles to the poorest in the world, Yoruba and Fulani no give the shiiit, so long as crude oil still flows from the Nigerdelta; so long as Ijoid and Igboid people are not directing the affairs of Nigeria.

A hell of propaganda of falsehood against Jonathan brought a man who hardly knows modern economic theories to come and be president of Nigeria.

Orlu is like that: untarred streets that are nearly fully-built with houses, no gutters;
except the urban roads tarred by Udenwa administration and by NDDC; plus a few 4,or 5 roads done by Okorocha government in 2013, before Okorocha started to take Orlu for a village - till today.
PoliticsRe: APC And The Spirit Of Witchcraft - By Femi Aribisala by mandax: 9:46am On Sep 06, 2015
APC president Buhari has not made any important pronouncements about electric power - the most important thing that disturbs Nigerians.

Buhari has not said a word about the vexed political structure and unitary government system that drags Nigerians back and into possible conflict.

Buhari has not made an important statement about Chibok girls release.

All that Buhari is doing looks like witchcraft against perceived political enemies.

Igbos should have constituted more than 90% of those Buhari already appointed if Buhari's appointments so far was by merit.

Because Igbos are the most educationally advanced in Nigeria, and are better politicians who can see far ahead before other Nigerians.

The British planners plan their country and programme the world fifty years ahead. That's why Britain sets the pace in the world.

Most non-Igbo Nigerians on this thread jump up and down on the spur of the moment that their men are in power in Nigeria. They hardly look beyond today.

Political jobbers and contractors are really having nightmares as chances of their continued impunity is low and thus constant undue criticism of Buhari is the way out.
Yeah, Buhari has brought the change of inter tribal hatred. Igbo is the largest, or the second largest single ethnic group in Nigeria. Your Baba Buhari has deployed open hatred for the largest or second largest tribe in Nigeria, that means he has deployed hatred against Nigeria itself.

Nigeria was not functioning with a single political party during the last presidential election. Why must Buhari deploy open hatred for the Igbo because he did not get pass vote in the southeast?

Given the way you reason most of the times, you must have been one of the beneficiaries from quota system of admission - not by merit - to federal government institutions.
.I mean, you must be one of those who scored 10 points in the entrance exam and got admitted, while others from the southeast area who scored 300 points were not admitted.

This practice of merit when it suits only you, and bringing in federal character principles when it suits only you - this practice is why this your zoo-Nigeria must fall - and fall, quicker than expected.

I heard too that Gov. Okorocha is importing elephants to the Owerri zoo at Nekede. He promises to import other wild animals too to the zoo.

But humans in Imo state don't have common pipe-borne water.

%age attention:
Gov. Okorocha's deputy said Okorocha did 75% of his development works in Owerri in the last four years;

but given the way Okorocha took off this second term, it appears he shall devote 100% in Owerri this second term.

What are the Reps of the other 25 Lgas of Imo state doing about this Okoroch's joke of one-city only?

Okorocha has most of his businesses and palatial home in Owerri. He is taking the joke of building his dream city at the expense/neglect of rest of Imo state too far.

I'm from Niger Delta Igbo myself so I gain more from oil if that is the issue. The issue is the hate speech against Hausa, Yoruba and the entire North and Southwest by radio Biafra. The worst is the claim of other peoples land like Iguocha and other minority area surrounding Igboland. Meanwhile majority of your people are living there.

The "radio Biafra" I will support is the one that will

1) preach Igbo unity

2) Encourage Igbos to locate their business headquatres in Igboland

3) Encourage good leadership

4) Condemn tribalism and religious intolerance

5) Allow Niger Deltans be and stop the disgusting attache by force.

6) Preach against get rich quick syndrome

7) Embark on scholarship scheme for brainy Igbis from poor background

Let me stop at this 7 as the list is endless.

This hospital is the greatest thing Igbos will collectively do since we built the Imo Airport. If we work together we can build the 2nd Niger bridge in 6 months without all these 30 years of insult from IBB, Obasanjo and Jonathan.

The massacre is the end result of the way radio Biafra is broadcasting. Instead of it to be calling for Igbos to return home and invest which will see gradual reduction of our population in other parts of Nigeria, it rather broadcast hate words that will lead to a clash with our host communities. The end is the rest of Nigeria as usual uniting to kill Igbos like chicken.
Attack is the end product of hate speeches. Has any Igbo attacked any Nigerian anywhere? What are u insinuating? You kill yourselves - not Igbos; no Igbo in the process of asking for Biafra has attacked any Nigerian. Igbos don't hate other Nigerians. Any Radio or whatever has not made Igbo hate other Nigerians. Instead, some Nigerians like you who believe they cannot survive without Nigerdelta oil say somebody is preaching hatred against them.

I will like to know your definition of Orlu. Is it Orlu LGA or Orlu group of people or Orlu zone? Why I am asking is because whatever is done in any part by Government belongs to all of Orlu until you specify if its Amaifeke or Umuaka or Nkwerre or Amaigbo or Mgbidi or Awo or Umuna or Akokwa or Umuowa or Amucha or Ekwe or Nempi or Ihitenasa or Uruala or Mgbee or Eziachi or umuzike or Atta or Okporo or Umuhu Okabia or Obinugwu or Ihiteowerri or Ogberuru or Isiokpo or Isiekenesi or Osina or hundreds of other towns.
Nna men, you know Orlu very well - I am very happy with you. You do some good jobs even some Imo people wouldn't do...

I said it earlier, it shall be hard to get anybody from Owerri who has been to Orlu before, talk less, recount communities in Orlu area like you did. Why? Because every thing Imo state has is in Owerri. So some one from Owerri has no need to visit Okigwe or Orlu areas for anything

Rochas Okorocha became governor and worsened the situation. Do you ever see any Owerri guy on NL or anywhere criticizing Okorocha government? Hard to see. This is because Okorocha nearly reduced Imo state to Owerri.

You need to go into the chapel and say just one prayer for the good of your friend, Gov. Okorocha: pray that governor Okorocha stops his devotion of 75% of Imo state government's development projects in only the state capital.

That governance pattern is very very offensive to the rest of Imo state outside Owerri.. If he continues with that, next time he asks for votes from Imo state;;;;;;;

@Abagworo my dear,

some people see you as mouthpiece of Imo state govt.

The proposed mega-market in Mgbidi is on the recently-built Onitsha-Owerri road. It is highly welcome.

But hopefully, with the market in mind, present govt of Imo state does not quench the international market in Orlu, more so, if the Orlu-Ihialla Road is not rebuilt.
Today's IMSG needs to note that one day, the now sparkling Owerri-Onitsha road must also wash away and ask for repairs.

I am saying this because:

from this govt's 4 years abandonment of the only road to IMSUTH, Orlu, to the govt's embarkation on building new general hospitals;

from its declaration that water supply is privatized when it was the turn of Orlu to have a water supply system built by IMSG,

from this govt's four years crippling of Orlu sports stadium to it building new stadia infrastructures in Owerri;

something is believed to be amiss regarding the governor's attitude to Orlu. Hopefully, the remaining traders in Orlu that sustain the town's economy are not also frustrated by present IMSG to flee.

{A dry dock (sometimes dry-dock or drydock) is a narrow basin or vessel that can be flooded to allow a load to be floated in, then drained to allow that load to come to rest on a dry platform. Dry docks are used for the construction, maintenance, and repair of ships, boats, and other water craft.}

Which Environmental Impact Assessment huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh huh ?
There are more than 100 kilometer sea-land border in the Nigerdelta areas where that Dry Dock can be built.

Pollution from Crude Oil exploration and a harmless Dry Dock in the Nigerdelta area, which one has more adverse environmental impact on the Nigerdelta huh huh huh huh huh huh

You come to the Nigerdelta to exploit crude oil, and pollute the environment - often beyond recovery - but you can't build a dry dock that promotes business and employment in the Nigerdelta.

The worst adverse environmental impact from a dry dock includes sound from trains, heavy trucks - and loud laughter from happy workers.

I appreciate what you have said. I travel that road often and it is not funny. The road will receive attention from PMB. This is the advantage of being closer to the federal govt. However, we want Orlu to be an economically viable city and not an appendage to Onitsha traders only. What I am saying is that we need diversification vis a vis manufacturing, trade, and services.
Orlu-Ihialla Road to receive attention from PMB? Lol!

It is the Imo state section of the road which is less than 15 km which has deteriorated. If we wait until federal red tape is concluded before the federal govt rebuilds the road - if ever PMB shall even rebuild the road - perhaps by then, the traders in Orlu could have closed shops and moved to Owerri. Unlike Owerri-Orlu road that carries light leisure vehicles, the Ihialla-Orlu road carries heavy goods vehicles.

The story about this failed Orlu-Ihiala road has gone viral, probably because it is the road that sustains the economy of Orlu and environs. But it's hard to believe that IMSG has a full knowledge of the situation.

Okorocha-headed IMSG needs to repair the road - ask the federal govt for reimbursement.

https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/soc.culture.nigeria/4WnnPjvL8Zs
But excuse me Abagworo, why should we be talking about who reconstructed Orlu-Ihialla road more than twelve years ago while the same road has since been asking today's government - federal or state - for resurfacing, given that the road is only route that sustains the economy of Orlu and environs?

We are in an era where the success of government is measured by how far the government reduced unemployment.

If Gov. Okorocha cares a hoot about Orlu and the about tens of thousands of traders who provide employment/traders in Orlu, he should have since repaired that Orlu-Ihialla road which is about 13 kilometres, then ask the federal government for refund.

Instead, Okorocha provides 75% of his development infrastructure in Owerri as he builds his megacity capital.

The Orlu Nkume Road has never been good to the best of my knowledge. There was somewhere around Menacorde cut almost 10 years ago by erosion. What you should do is to bring your problem to the Governor than accuse him falsely.
For the umpteenth time, Orlu-Ihialla road, the main route that sustains Orlu's economy, was reconstructed by Udenwa during his first term as governor of Imo state. MCC did the road on behalf of Imo state government.

You want me to go talk with Gov. Okorocha about the Orlu-Umuowa-Nkwume road scrapped by Okorocha's government going to four years now? Tens of thousands of inhabitants densely populate both sides of that road, and twice they voted Okorocha as governor, the last time, with hope that Okorocha can rush the road when he wins. Okorocha does not need any body to talk to him.

Let me put on my binoculars: by 2019, Rochas Okorocha may be coming back to beg those people for votes for the Senate. Wealthy people need to be connected to govt to protect their wealth.

People from Orlu go to universities in Owerri, as well as live in Owerri to do government work.

It's difficult to get some body from Owerri who has been to Orlu for once, even though in 1976 when Imo state was created, there was little or no difference between the levels of urbanization in Orlu, Okigwe and Owerri.
