It is not about the president per se. The fact remains that if he refuses to make someone accountable to Nigerians for the way the economy runs, then he has to take responsibility directly. There should be some form of delegation as a country like Nigeria is too big for the the kind of limbo we have been in for the past few months. Even the president has warned us to brace for hard times. Alright, but for how long and what is the present government doing to take us out of the woods? For goodness sake, there is work to be done and if we use the whole time in the world apportioning blames....well, your guess is as good as mine as to where will be in the next few years.

1. It's a terrible situation (even though some of the claims in the post have been found out to be exaggerated).

2. It could have been far worse if the previous admin won the election -- they largely got us here in the first place.

3. Global economy is taking a hit generally, especially with oil producing nations.

4. So far, this present admin has tried, it needs to hurry up and do better in double time though, especially with the economy -- that's why people voted for them -- nothing short o' that!

5. It hurts eveyone, but you are in safer hands people -- it could have been a hopeless one . . .

What's the single most important reason for the economic downturn of countries that are largely dependent on crude export?

It's obvious there is a direct correlation between slowing oil prices and tightening finances hence the reason for the recent market volatility and somewhat painful albeit necessary economical challenges we are facing.

You seriously need to start reading to understand and stop reading to wail.

I could remember one self acclaimed pastor on the 28 of march 2015 at the polling unit claiming PMB has just one house in Katsina bla bla bla and the long sermon continued about how PMB is a saint and how God wants to use him to revive the nation.
