I can only imagine the envy and jealousy eating him up now.

Considering he was amongst the first to start the international movement with his Snoop Dogg collabo.

If only he didn't leave Don Jazzy, his life wouldn't have been such a write-off.

ABI o, what is happening to dbanj makes me to know hes the choosing one by God, and he realized as well that why he said ore ofe oluwa is all over him in it's not a lie, meaning the grace of God all over me so that makes him hated by his people but loved outside in UK , Kenya, south Africa etc dbanj is huge but here in Nigeria they always try to play down his achievement. Have you noticed all the bloggers kept quiet about kingdoncome album, that's album alone beat anything that has come out from mavin altogether in the last 5 years .and probably the best album I've heard from any Nigerian act in recent years. but the media never expected it so they don't want to hype it but they can't criticize it either. Dbanj also recognized this so he's doing it now for his fan which are still huge in Nigeria and across the world but to also lovers of good music worldwide so he never bother to come and push anything here because he knows the hypocrisy of Nigeria media. All I know is that bangalee is winning big time and I'm sure his name will be written in gold soon.

WORD!!!
El chapo currently has more views than Olamides Wo

And olamide wo video was released 8 days before elchapo was released and already has more views. The way elchapo is going I'm thinking is going to get 50 million in less that 6 month

It's when it's dbanj that's when people see his achievements as nothing but if it's other artist they will praise dem to high heavens.

I'm telling you oh when it's dbanj is no achievement but if it's other artist we won't hear word. Imagine if it's tuface that has a song that hit 3 million views in 2 weeks? They do everything to play down his achievement in this country, why are human so evil? I'm happy that he's not even trying to pls Nigerian again that's why he doesn't even bother to come and promote his work here again. Do you know that he promoting his album well In UK now he's hosting live afro beat show on capital Xtra every Saturday night for the last 3 weeks and playing all the songs from his album and guess what the comot cava song is already getting close to 500k view without video out yet. THERE IS A SAYING THAT A PROPHET IS WHITHOUT HONOR IS HIS COUNTRY, SO DONT GO TO WHERE YOU ARE TOLERATED BUT TO WHERE YOU ARE CELEBRATED. I see dbanj becoming that global icon soon with the album kingdoncome his fans in Nigeria is a die hard fan so that's enough for him.

Life is step by step everyone cannot be Beyonce and Rihanna, this is dbanj that evil people have pronounced dead musically but the voice of God is not the voice of man. Even some top American singer has song that didn't hit 3 million in 2 weeks, also there are some that hit 40 million in 24 hours that is Taylor swift. But for dbanj this is a big deal and his fans celebrate him for what he has able to achieve so far with this song. Even Oliver twist only achieve 1 million in 1 month this elchapo is likely to be bigger than Oliver twist

Naira land paid agent will go into eternal hiding. Already 900k view on YouTube in 4days., I also number 3 music trending in UK right now. I repeat never underestimate a visionary and determined person if you do it, you do it at your own peril! Enough said

I'm happy because people's eye is opening to the truth about the album gradually that's why is already number one in Nigeria itune without media hype because media is only waiting to publish the negatives news about dbanj do this news is a disappointment to tgem

Damn this is disgusting my brother, I've been watching a lot of children here try to discredit dbanj at all cost. Apart from dbanj been a complete entertainer to rock u like mad on stage, his artistic prowess is superb. I've listened to his songs from 2004 I noticed he never copied anybody and he never repeat the same sound pattern in each of his songs now that's creativity he always try to reinvent himself without joining the bandwagon of the current trend. Who could ever believe in 2004 day dbanj can sing songs like TOP OF THE WORLD, EXTRAORDINARY, SALUTE, KIMON, WON DAMO(BURNA BOY FEATURED) CONFIDENTIAL, ETC . Thats creativity yes he may not be the best vocalist like wande coal and tuface but he stand out from the rest and make sure his voice suits his style of sound. I've noticed since dbanj left jazzy every effort is continuously being made to discredit him , evil people everywhere

Haha! There you go again. "Yoruba should focus on what they want"? when you are the monkeys that are all over Yoruba and can't survive a day without a Yoruba fix. You guys are really insane. This is a Yoruba thread talking about Yoruba and federalism, but you ibos quickly hijacked and completely took over the thread before Yoruba themselves could get a word in, yet you are talking about "leave ibos alone", talk about a crazy man forcing to hug passersby and then screaming "leave me alone", does that make sense to you?

You are incoherent, you sound mad honestly, I mean like a raving lunatic that you have always been. You have to have a serious mental problem to type these things.

Politics / Re: Something Strange Is Happening In The Southwest - Azuka Onwuka by mandhip: 10:45am On Jul 19, 2016
obailala:
There's nothing strange about this development. Everything in Nigeria is tied to politics, even issues which ordinarily should have nothing to do with politics are usually influenced by partisan sentiments.

The niger-delta activists all went dumb during the reign of GEJ, even though we all know GEJ did nothing for the region during his presidency. Similarly we had cases of policemen arresting, incarcerating and even killing massob members some years back under GEJ, but we never heard any uproar from anyone in the SE cos the politics in Abuja appeared to be favourable. Similarly there were countless number of fulani herdsmen strikes and clashes with communities in the middlebelt region and in some cases, in the upper parts of the SE; there was never an uproar against the government for the same obvious reasons not until May 29th 2015, and then we all remembered there was some menace in existence called fulani herdsmen.

Furthermore, during the time of GEJ, northern youths raised a lot of dust over even the most meaningless things, today worse things are happening but they've all gone cold and dumb. Can someone please imagine what would have happened had it been that the zaria shiite massacre happened under GEJ?... Hell would have been let lose and the northerners who are mainly sunnis would have remembered that even the shiites are still their brothers and sisters.

Now the SW which has always championed the cause of restructuring seems to have also gone mute, the reasons are obvious, its the abuja political sentiment.

In summary, the fact is that when people make a loud uproar against a perceived injustice, the driving force most times is usually politics; when the politics in Abuja appears to favour a group, the group tends to sheath their swords.

Very reasonable submission
