This school is expensive, 9credit is $13k, this simply means u wil pay $13k per semester for 9credits. So every semester u take upto 3courses u have 2be ready 2produce $13k, its always better 2calculate ur fees per semester dan trying 2calculate for d whole program cos u my run mad wen u c how much u r expected 2pay for d entire program, taking it one semester at a time reduces ur blood pressure cos ur situations changes every semester. Nigerian passport is a case of "in theory" vs "in practice" in theory its 5k1 like u said(if dats d amt u saw on d website) but in practice, its 15k and above depending on how soon u need it and ur threshhold for stress, if u go 2immigration office with just 5k1 u go waka tire, at some point u sef will giveup. Even Nigerian embassy in d US dey do "in theory" vs "in practice" when u wnt 2renew passport or get one for your child. One wil expect that in a civilized organized country like ds they will atleast respect themselves but for where? corruption is in d bloood stream.

St cloud is a very good school, its one of the schoools I applied to but my transcript didn't get to dem on time so I chose siue instead. I also have a friend(Nigerian) who did Bsc Nursing there, she is working, married nd doing well for herself now. Again I emphasize dates shots were given cos wen I came, I got a letter from luth stating nd listing dat I have taken all d shots and I am free from any infection or comunicable disease, my school rejected it on d grounds dt d doctor didn't state d dates each of d shots were given, so I had 2submit anoda document with dates each of d shot was given and dey acepted nd cleared me.

It is ok to declare financial hardship to your school on the assumption your are already a student of the school and you have previously enroled nd paid for atleast 1semester, if u sudenly find urself in financial distress after dat u can discuss with them instead of keeping quiet nd faling out of status, d school wil work out a payment plan for u, atleast in my school a friend was in financial distress nd cudnt enroll for a new semester cos she was stil owing 7k in fees for d last semestr, int'l ofice caled her nd asked why she isn't enrolled she explained she can't pay her past bill so her acount was suspended, she was adviced 2go 2bursary nd discus with a particular person, she went there d hold was lifted on compasionate grounds she registered for d new semester nd d hold was placed again, she eventualy got a GA for d new semester sometime midsemester so d GA paid her curent tuition with d old one still looming, d bursary unit structured a plan for her where dey deduct $200 from her stipends every check, also if she has some personal funds she tries 2pay. Uptil now 3semesters later she is stil owing about 4k in past bill but she is stil enroled and paying it off litle by litle. I must add dat my school is 1of d most int'l student friendly schools, they will do anythg 2help out, so mayb oda school may not b as understanding, some may jst tell u 2pay or withdraw, depends on ur school.

Hello guys. I mailed my advisor asking him to mail me a scanned copy of my I-20 when it's being issued before they send it by courier. I did that because of the info I got from here regarding that. To my suprise, he responded by stating that "universities that release scanned copy of I-20 would be in violation of the SEVP policy and would be opening themselves to legal recourse."

I wanna ask if any one has gotten same responce.

That must be a strange or new development. Cos my school specificaly emails u a soft copy of ur I20 and ask u 2check for mistakes, if u spot any, dey correct it and later send d real one by courier. In my case my name was spelled wrong nd I drew dier atention 2it, dey corected it b4 sending thru courier, imagine if dey had just sent it, I wud have had 2return it for corection nd dat wud have been final long thing plus I used my sevis number from d scanned copy 2start my sevis payment and visa waka long b4 d i20 eventualy got 2me.

Even if God forbid d F1 doesn't workout(which is not likely) your B1/B2 is stil very valid cos u got it based on its own merit.

4.Not all courses require GRE so its not a problem, hope u took toefl though? If No, well hopefully ur B1/B2 will help u nd make them overlook all that.
