The reality is that Kaduna Christians face all the northern Muslims including the neighbouring Niger Republic �� - the reason there are lots of migrants claiming indigenes in some part of Kaduna. Infact the Emirs from other states in North are always interested in who rules Kaduna because they see the state as the capital of northern Nigeria and therefore should be seen as symbol of Islam. There are many indigenous non Muslims in Kaduna state that can challenge the status quo but the hurdle of facing the entire Muslim North is humongous for them. Elrufai is a typical figure that is implementing nothern muslim agenda/jihad without giving a hoot.

you're absolutely right even in public sector, the law enforcement officers are one of the most poorly paid workers in Nigeria, that's why I always laugh at the ignorant people saying police and other law enforcement agents except EFCC and DSS are corrupt , what do you expect from a poorly paid personnel? Some will be preaching about Patriotism now but will Never preach that to an employee of nnpc,DPR and PPMC with the same qualifications.

You want to go and verify documents ? You're talking as if you're not living in naija , what stops her from telling any pregnant girl to go to lab and use her own name to run the test on her behalf or settled the lab attendant to put positive instead of negative on the report and it would be filed like that.

I was working in Lagos as expatriate. I am married and she was fully aware at the beginning of the relationship.

I had sex with my gf on the 6th day and I pulled out.

I told her that month that my contract has been terminated by my company and I have to go back to my country.

On 27th day I met her (5 days before leaving the country) and she asked me if I am sure that I pulled out on time when we had sex last time and I told her yes and she told me that she is asking the question because she has not seen her period.

When I left the country 2 weeks later I chatted her and I asked if she is doing well. She told me that she is not fine. I asked "why ?" And she told me that she is pregnant. I was very surprised and I called her. That day she told me that she was just joking with me she is not pregrant and we talked about everything.

Last week she told me that she is pregnant. She shared with me a test results on a paper where the date of the pregnancy perfectly matches with the date we had sex.

She told me that if her family is aware of the situation they will disowned her and she immediately shared with me some requirements to apply for a job in UK where 2 million NGN are required and she asked me for support. She also deleted the image of the tests results.

When I asked her to share with me she told me that she does not want me to be in trouble if my wife see that document in my phone. I insisted to get a copy and I told her that she can be assured I will not keep it in my phone. She shared back the document after cropped the letterhead. I insisted to get the full copy and she sent another one after striketrhoughed on her name.

I told her that I don't think in Nigeria the only option available for a woman who gets pregnant is to travel to UK even if her family will disown her. I understand that the situation is not comfortable but there could be other options. Even this process to go to UK can be unsuccessful, and if it is the case, this amount of money would have been lost.

I am not from Nigeria and this story seems suspicious to me. I am currently abroad, there is no way I can verify what she is telling me. I don't also want to open it some of my friends there.

To be honest, I never planned after I left the country to cut communication with her or to support her. But I prefer to support her whenever I have the opportunity to do. I don't know now if this story about the pregnancy is true or not.

If you have any experience in this kind of situation please share with me. Any advice is also welcome.

PVC will not get you the kind of president you want, only party membership will. If APC and PDP both present incompetent candidates, your PVC will not save you from having incompetent president. In the same vein, if the two parties present competent candidates, your PVC will be useless.

That is a very good point, the northern Oligarchy control the politics of the north and by extension they influence every decision to suits the northern agenda, unlike the other major tribes ,they are not usually forgetful of their disadvantage positions in terms
of everythingg as far as Nigeria is concerned; the core northener are the least educated, they have harsh wheather, least sophisicated populace and least natural resources available for mining so there is no way they won't be involved in determining what would be the future of their people and protect the age Long interest of the north,, . Any Candidate from the south liike Awolowo, Abiola , Tinubu or any other strong assertive candidate who seems to know it all and have odogwu like image in politics can never get the support of this people, their type would be too strong, assertive and difficult to control , they naturally prefer someone that is not so popular with his people - a sort of political opharn that may not likely grow wing or get out of control but when it their turn to bring a candidate for the presidential election, they will shop for a popular, strong, assertive and political independent minded person to vie for the post. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the conditions and calculation is that status quo should be maintained in most of the appointments especially that involves the northern interest, it may not necessarily be same person but it has to be a nothener or a friend of the north in rare cases where no qualified person from the region is readily available.
