But why are those of the Igbos are major problem to Yorubas? Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadan land Meaning Head of the Hausa community in Ibadan, quite different from having Igwe or Eze of Ikeja or Eze of Amuwo Odofin, which is a clear affront on the Oba of such town. Innoson's company alone, if marketed well by the Nigerian government, can pull Nigeria out of the recession zone. Innoson is a genius and no one should come to rubbish his name! So because he is someone Igbo are proud of, he should be immune from prosecution if there are allegations against him. You Igbos are making other Nigerians to see you as very clannish and will support ANYONE WITH ANY ISSUE as long as the person is Ibo. Go and make research on what is happening to Iheanacho Integrated refinery project financing now..you will simply make your Ibo biz men a financial risk to banks with your mob mentality. |

willibounce1: Some people just like talking nonsense. Relocate business to southeast to sell to who exactly? Any body with a functioning brain understands that you situate your business where you know you'll make profit and don't really give two phucks about the tribe of your customers. You go into business to make money not for some daft tribal and emotional nonesense. Why not tell igbos not to sell to any other tribe aside from igbos. Why not tell them not to accept help from any other tribe aside igbos. Ohaneze are bunch of village miscreants. Ask them if they have any business they are running. They want their few successful igbo brothers in Lagos and other states to come back to the village and become as wretched and frustrated as they are. Person wet him life don shaprapra dey find partner. Evil and envious ohaneze. They have no brain to process a lot of things in that part of the country. Politics › Re: Other Nigerians Should Emulate South-West Political Maturity - President Buhari by ManMountain(m): 1:10pm On Jan 01, 2018 |
humilitypays: First time Pa Saint Buhari is saying the truth.
When it comes to religious tolerance, Yorubas are the best, followed by the South south and Igbos. Northern Nigeria is a disaster to Nigeria in all areas of life.
The only problem Yorubas have is they can betray their friend in times of trouble out of fear, and they support evil out of fear and in order to gain politically and economically and I wouldn't blame them on that.
Also when it comes to being peace loving and accommodating, Yorubas are also great at that.
Only few Yorubas are fearless and can stand by you when fire burns, e.g. Prof. Wole Soyinka, Fella, Fajuyi (blessed memory), etc....but generally, Yorubas are fearful and liverless, another reason why they are peaceful and tolerant.
The major problem Igbos have in Nigeria is scar of the civil war....they no longer trust the north and the Yorubas when it comes to national politics, but individually, Igbos are very good with Hausa, Yoruba, etc but during politics, Igbos know Yorubas will sell out and Hausas must bring their dominance nature and bloody nature too.
One way to reunite Nigeria and solve most of our national issues is to bring sincere unity by making Igbos vital part of Nigerian leadership not just by zoning presidency to Igbos but first start appointing Igbo service men as service chiefs...e.g.
Chief of Army Staff IG of Police Comptroller of Customs Chief of Air Staff Chief of Naval Staff Chief Judge of the Federation Etc, etc....
If we start to do all these ensuring political appointments are made based on merit and not based on tribe and religion, then every tribe will stop clamoring to produce president and tribal and religious politics will disappear with time.
But whereby you appoint only your tribesmen, your religious members into key positions, then tribe and religion will continue to be a defining factor in Nigerian politics.
So Saint Buhari start the change this year by reshuffling your cabinet and making it detribalised from what it is now. This is ibos problem in Nigeria and the exact reason they will find it difficult to play politics in Nigeria You can't eat where you don't sow ( a clear philosophy that Wike pointed out to some yorubas deceiving themselves in PDP during the party elective convention) I want you to tell me one brave ibo man that have successfully prosecute a cause in Nigeria Your ego, unbridled but lacking in substance pride and above all your false sense of entitlement will always keep you below in Nigeria political perking order |

kettykings: 99% of the problem of igbos lies within the federal structure , if igbos can circumvent this structure by running and putting in place a system that will be independent of the Government at the centre , igbos can have their own internation Airport , gateway to the world via the Air and Sea Run its own refineries that would prevent the type of systemic sabotage that was smuggle in by the statanic and inept Government at the centre. reduce dependence on the unintelligent revenue sharing at the centre where the main generators of the revenue is giving 13% while empty land masses and unproductive states take home the bulk of the revenue. Those are two mutually exclusive words, you cant use them in both sentence. Please let me come and be going

BafanaBafana: I have always said it. The south west is the most stable region in Nigeria. They have everything it takes to form a country. If by any chance, the country breaks today, the people of the southwest have the best chances of taking off as a nation almost immediately with very few distruption to their lifestyle and economy |

ezegenigbonine: Rate of cowardice in south west 1. In religion, u attend islam but hausas never accept u as a good Muslim. 2. Politics, u call ur selves good politicians but hausas have ruled u severally with only one Yoruba ruling Nigeria obasanjo 3. Ethnicity, go to north n see good roads, steady electricity "wen last u saw light in Lagos".
I knw the problem of Yoruba's is fear if unknown in the sense that if Nigeria divides, Hausa will go to agriculture, IBO business and Niger deltas oil, what of Yoruba? There can't farm, they can't hustle, they only go to school to drag for office positions.
That's y they are cowards A typical ibo illiterate that have never come in contact all his life with other Nigerians excpet his ibo village folks |

EzeNri: If you manage to sneak into the President's bedroom, he will tell you without fear that SW introduced tribalism into the polity.
If you can't sneak in, just stroll to Kano and ask Sanusi.
If you think that will be difficult then ask, Balaraba Musa, Yakassi or Unoga (I don't know the accurate name though).
So say another thing. I will rather take what is generally known and accepted and what the president openly and publicly confirmed in a national broadcast on his first speech of the year. Guy, this is 2018, your life should stop revolving around hatred and things that will never add value to your old age |
Politics › Re: The Sophistication Of South West Population. by ManMountain(m): 9:51am On Jan 01, 2018 |
EzeNri: When you see uncommon pattern in a statistical trend, then know it not just coincidence.
Why is it that it only in SW that we have election vote split 57:43, even though they were the region that championed the APC Movement? Why is it that it is only SW that elected non indigenes into positions, especially from areas where those PDP votes came from?
The truth is that you people are just being sentimental and shallow. I don't have time for you. Annually the number of people that enters LAGOS alone is 2.4% of the entire SW population. If 2.4% of SW population alone enters Lagos alone, have you ever bothered to ask yourself how many that enter in the other 5 states?
The figure was heavily adjusted to arrive at 60:40 ratio and I know it very accurate at 5% Alpha level.
I know most of you will shout Ekiti, remove Ekiti entirely from the analysis. You will still arrive at the same thing. Use three point estimate to run the same analysis, you will still get the same thing. Use a survey, you will still discover that 4 out of every 10 persons in SW are not Yorubas. We have SE, SS, MB, NE, NW, West Africans, Asians, Americans, Europeans, North, Central and other Africans in SW. All these people fall within that 40%.
If you are a Statistician, you should have known that you need at least 385 sample size to make a reliable generalization on any homogeneous population.
If the population is heterogenous, you have to divide it into homogenous units and collect randomly a sample size of at least 385 from each unit before you can make any reliable generalization.
SW is a homogeneous unit, using a sample size of election voters in Nigeria where ethnic groups vote in bloc can yield that kind of information (proportion of Indigenes:Non indigenes) but this can't in the USA.
Cc: Oyatz Totit The President himself just gave you the answer to your questions this morning. He even advised other regions (including his own) to emulate the SW when it comes to electoral matter in respect of re5lgion, tribalism ( ibos are now no 1 in that) and other primordial sentiments |
