PoliticsRe: The Legitimate Disqualification Of Buhari Could Save Nigeria From Crisis by ManMountain(m): 9:03pm On Mar 14, 2015
mikeansy:
If you have a legitimate basis to disqualify GEJ then why not?

Please your argument about length of tenure has been addressed by the courts. GEJ has only been elected once and has a right to re-election according to the Nigerian constitution,
The constitution recognizes maximum of 8 years for the President? Yes or no! IF re-elected, By 2019, GEJ would have spend how many years as substantive president of Nigeria?
Bribing and threatening the judges would not change the spirit of the constitution, anything more than 8 years as president is a clear breach of the Nigeria constitution, GEJ has a better chance of getting disqualified than GMB.
Tell us another story jaree..
PoliticsRe: The Legitimate Disqualification Of Buhari Could Save Nigeria From Crisis by ManMountain(m): 8:52pm On Mar 14, 2015
mikeansy:
With the high tension in the land some has suggested disqualifying Buhari could lead to chaos but I believe the opposite is rather the case

with an INEC which appears complicit in its distribution of PVC, an opposition who know nothing but to incite violence and threaten the security of the State itself, it is obvious that if the propaganda that this election is close which is clearly not the case is allowed to fester into the election itself, Nigeria is headed for bloodshed no matter who gets announced winner after 28th March 2015.

What is not in doubt however is that Buhari failed the laid out INEC procedures in the way he has completed his registration form and I believe that disqualifying Buhari in accordance to the laws of the land may just avert crisis in this March 28th elections!
Why not let's disqualify GEJ as another 4 years will be against a maximum of 8 years allowed for a President under Nigeria constitution.
If GEJ is allowed, he would have done 10 years or so by 2019, a clear breach of the constitution.

PoliticsRe: CORRUPTION, RIGGING: Letter From Military Indicts Chief Minimah, Others by ManMountain(m): 2:23pm On Mar 14, 2015
bamosagie:
APC writting letter on army letterheaded paper, an indirect appeal for the military to overthrow government.
History repeating itself and we are all cheering. Same way UPN hobnobed with the military to carryout a military putsch in the 80s believing they would be benefitiary.
can you prove the part in bold?
PoliticsRe: CORRUPTION, RIGGING: Letter From Military Indicts Chief Minimah, Others by ManMountain(m): 2:22pm On Mar 14, 2015
LRNZH:
And once the Military gets corrupted to this level the solution is a very tough one. It means all the senior officers above a certain rank will have to be retired to purge it of corruption And allow a fresh crop of officers to take over.

GEJ and PDP are setting a very bad precedence here.
There is just no way that Minimah will not have conflict of interest and his loyalty to GEJ will override loyalty to the constitution.
He was not made the COAS for nothing.

I know it's very easy for your type to easily wave aside this kind of letter, but don't be so sure that the impeding calamity will spare you.
PoliticsRe: CORRUPTION, RIGGING: Letter From Military Indicts Chief Minimah, Others by ManMountain(m): 2:15pm On Mar 14, 2015
This government is setting this country up to inflame. Any little error now and the present tension that has reached feverish stage will set the country ablaze.
You simply don't expose your military to this type of political exposure, they are not trained for such political participation.

Sorry to say, but the OP make absolute no sense. with all the LASG investment to the NPF, they are not getting value for money because the state don't have direct control of the commissioner of police in the state, the CP reports to the IG who happens to be the appointee of the Presdient.
Instead of blaming Fashola, blame the constitution that foisted a central policing on us.
If Fashola controls police in Lagos, you will sleep at nights with your gates wide open.
Truth is most of those blaming Fashola either have no idea of the context of his statement, or they know but just want to either be mischievous or pretend to put head in the sand.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Mocked On Twitter For Blaming GEJ Over Lekki Robbery With #fasholajoker by ManMountain(m): 12:49pm On Mar 14, 2015
Nogen:
That Ikoyi bridge toll gate is owned by Lagos State govt/ Tinubu. They are the ones who collect millions daily from the bridge. The bridge is also manned by the police and all of a sudden , they were no where to be found on the day of robbery. Fashola/Tinubu must tell Nigerians what happened on that day! How come his police officers left their post for the robbers to to have easy access? Fashola and Tinubu must tell Lagosians what actually transpired on that day!
