chic2pimp: Ofcourse You can be born gay. Why not switch the word gay for straight and ask the question 'Could It Really Be That A Person Can Be Born Straight'? See how ridiculous that sounds? Good point! and why not try this one. Is it possible for a person to be born normal? YES! being if that person is born straight he's born normal. And NO! being if that person is not born normal he's born gay. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Christians Ignorantly Oppose The Theory Of Evolution by manmustwac(m): 5:17pm On Nov 03, 2009 |
@post i doubt if any christians bought up in developing countries will know much about any other religion (other than the religion they were brought up to believe) talkless of evolution. Ask the average African what is a dinosaur? He or she wouldn't have a clue about what your talking about, because just like any other religion they not used to it, thier not familiar with it and they just want to stay within the comfort zone of thier own religion. Hope that makes sense |

agathamari: did you even listen to her? she said there isnt just one way but many ways to god and that jesus isnt the only way. she said "i believe god is love and god is all things" and also said "god isnt something to belive. God is, God is." how are you twisting that to her saying there is no god? She's a great fan of a writer called Eckhart Tolle she quotes from one of the man's books ''"man made god in his own image the eternal the infiniteGod is a feeling experince not a believing experience. That if god for you is based on a belief then that not truly god. and unnameable was reduced to a mental idol that you had to worship as my god or our god. |

Take your time and make up a good story about a boy who fell in love with his best friend and tell her this. But make sure u tell her this at the right time the right place and when she's in the right mood. Hopefully she'll get the message. Good luck |
Politics › Re: Cross River State Govt Bans Okada - From Nov. 15th by manmustwac(m): 10:07pm On Nov 02, 2009 |
I think it would've been best it the state govt had made the okada drivers undergo special training to ensure that they drive carefully and safely obeying all traffic regulations and make them wear a state uniform. This would be better than a straightforward ban and everybody would be happy. |

oradilo: The best way to improve your writing skills is to read some journals, magazines, newspapers, etcetera. Then try to summarise what you read. Try to keep a daily journal where you record events and your thoughts. When reading take particular note of new words, their meanings and spellings. I believe you would improve if you have enough discipline to do all of these. All the best Thats what i do now. I also make notes on what i hear on the radio and summarise on paper what i hear FUNMZIE: Read lots of good materials that make use of correct English . always practise by writing down what uve read and think. When writing follow the format of:
-INTRODUCTION -BODY OF ESSAY OR WRITING -CONCLUSION
Separate your ideas in paragraphs, avoid using ambiguous words which u are not familiar with the accurate meaning,
enof teaching 4 now And thanks for your very first nairaland post |
