They're just thanking god and at the same time using the opportunity to show how rich they are to you people who they see as poor or not up to thier level.

Gods were invented my man simply because man had to make sense of his surroundings. I mean it rains mankind (just like a small child) will always ask questions like why dose it rain? What is thunder? What is lightening? Why is the weather hot? So its only natural for mankind to believe that all were invented by someone far superior to them who they referred to as a god and built statues of him in order to worship him

Our African ancestors had gods who they worshipped. To cut a long story short about 500 years ago before most of the undeveloped world was colonized all of mankind worshipped gods it was the best way to explain thier own enviorment to themselves.

Then our colonial masters came and along with colonization they told us that thier god was better than our god and the rest is history.

Pastor will never even announce during church service that someone died as a result of fasting its only the success stories that you'll hear which happen to be few in comparison to those that are not

Try fasting increase your tithes in church and plant seeds. Speak in tongues (for three hours at a time) and if none of those things work try a different strategy like becoming an atheist or a freethinker

So they will spray bullets like water then continue with the wedding with blood and so many dead bodies for road? And the bride and the groom will be happy to hear that so many people died on thier wedding day.

Suffering has got nothing to do with god or any god for that matter. When you live in a country where your neighbours don't like to see you progress a girlfriend can poison you because of jealousy (this actually happened to my nephew ). When a pastor would just pray for you while you die instead of using part of the tithes he collects from his own congregation to help a fellow member. Suffering is caused by man and not any god. So there's no point in asking (imaginary) god why there's suffering. You have to look at reality and deal with it like they do in developed countries.

Nigerians are resilliant people who have a strong will to survive against the odds. Most importantly they always look up to thier imaginary friend called Jesus for inspiration and false hope

Why do the masses of warri allow this man to get away with it. Why can't they all block the wedding route with a sit down protest on all the roads leading to the venue.

Is this what she was taught to do in emergency situations at midwifery school? Wasn't she taught first aid procedures?

Abayomi was found guilty of a string of charges by the Nursing and Midwifery Council at a hearing in central London.
Sydney Topping, for Abayomi, insisted his client's behaviour had represented no more than a 'bad day at the office' and urged the panel to let her off with a caution.
'Once in a while you have a bad day at the office,' he said.

'I would suggest that on April 8 the registrant had a bad day at the office. It was no worse than that. She has bounced back since then.'

The hearing heard that the child, referred to a Patient A, and his twin sister were born three months premature at Homerton University Hospital in Hackney, east London, and as a result suffered from a number of serious illnesses and so required round-the-clock care.

Joanna Dirmikis, for the NMC, said Abayomi had been employed by private nursing firm Paediatric Nursing Link to look after the infant, who required 22 hours of nursing care every day.
The parents were woken by a knock on their bedroom door at 5am on April 8, 2007, to find their son lying lifeless after suffering respiratory cardiac arrest, the panel was told.

'While Mrs A was trying to resuscitate the child, Mr A called 999,' said Miss Dirmikis.
'The twin sister of the little boy was also present during the incident and can be heard crying in the background during the call.'

'She panicked and at one stage even summoned divine intervention, calling for Jesus,' she added.
Paramedics rushed the boy to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone, east London, before he was taken to Great Ormond Street Hospital on the same day for further treatment.
Giving evidence, a tearful Mrs A said Abayomi had effectively 'abandoned' her during the incident.

'The nurse was constantly saying "Jesus help him" and waving her arms around,' she said.
'She said it more than 20 times. I felt I had to do everything - at that point she was doing nothing to help my son.
'She never offered to take the lead at any point and at no point did she suggest calling 999.
'I can't change what's happened to my son, I know I did the best for him but the nurse just completely abandoned her duty.

'If I can save just one other person from having to go through what we have been through, then that's what I want to do.'

The panel heard Patient A, now aged five, made a full recovery from the incident but is still totally dependent on others for his care.

Abaymo claimed the mother had pushed her away and refused to let her help.
She denied calling out for Jesus, panicking and failing to provide care or basic life support.
The nurse further denied failing to properly handover the case to paramedics and making inaccurate and false notes about the incident.

She was cleared of specific charges that she suctioned the child's tracheostomy tube or that she failed to record observations taken but was found guilty of misconduct and ruled unfit to continue working without restrictions.

Striking Abayomi off, panel chair John Williams said: 'This was a failure to accept responsibility for her role in the events by the registrant.
'She has shown a lack of empathy with the parents of the child and there has been no admission or apology, and therefore no insight.
'This failure is incompatible with her continuing to be a registered nurse.'

TOTTENHAM will be offered a cut-price January transfer deal to turn Emmanuel Adebayor's loan into a permanent move.

The Manchester City striker, 27, is spending the season at Spurs, who have a £14million option to buy in the summer.

City are currently paying half of Adebayor's reported £170,000-a-week wages, and the ex-Arsenal ace has hinted he would love a full-time return to London and will take a wage cut.

Juventus and Paris St Germain are also interested.

City believe letting him go for less than they could command once the campaign finishes may tempt Tottenham into signing Adebayor now.

Getting his wages off the books would also allow City to chase targets like Napoli duo Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik.

And a £4m discount would help make the deal a reality.
