Barcelona would go back to being an average club once Leo Messi retires. First, they would lose more than 50% of their fans because most of us are actually Messi fans
Secondly, I don't see Barca winning anything substantive without Messi. The Barca organization is useless. A club that would spend more than $250m on Dembele (a player with less than 1 full season of top flight football under his belt), and then to spend more than $200m on Coutinho when they already have Messi in the team is outrageous!
