Interesting, so since you live in the North, tell me this, are most Muslims there circumcised or it's just few of them?

Or maybe you don't know?
Northern Muslims usually get circumcised around the ages of 8 -11. Back when we were growing up in the north, we use to use it to tease friends who had undergo the process

You want to spend 40k\month on food in today's nigeria shocked. To cook an average pot of stew and soup will cost more than a quarter of that 40k and these will last for just a few days excluding rice and eba\semo\whatever shocked. I went to a primary healthcare in Edo state about 3 weeks ago which is supposed to be the lowest form of health provider after having symptoms of malaria, I paid N300 for card, N7, 500 for three tests and N15, 500 for medication. Totally over N22, 000 for just malaria treatment shocked. This op and his chatgpt break down na trash.
Wow. That's on the high side. Here in kaduna, same primary health care center treated me for typhoid and malaria at N3,900. N200 for card, N500 for malaria and typhoid test and N3200 for drugs which included injections.

Lol. I read and watched a lot of stuff back then

Hey it was Disney.

A lot of fairytales including African ones have a lot of stuff . Uncomfortable stuff

Like the one from Mali where a hippo eats two people. Read it when i was ten in an anthology of african stories. Bought by my mamma.(She did not know! Lol. She saw children).

And then there are tales like Hansel und Gretel with the witch who eats little kids...
Hansel and Gretel is a fairy tale. A work of fiction though depicting gruesome acts but trying to teach kids not to take things from strangers cause those strangers might be doing so to deceive them meanwhile, hippos are known to attack humans not to talk of kids.
You can't use these points as your argument is invalid when you compare this with the Bible that contains events that shows people we worship commiting acts that today are considered crimes

my bro stop telling them about online business because their brain has been wired to believe they must leave their home before making money. An average nigerian sees those working from home or earning online as yahoo yahoo and i blame the school system for that. Now that fuel price has gone over the roof let me see how those earning 70k or 100k per month will cope.

Learn an online skill no! They won’t, slavery mentality.
You fail to understand that the internet cannot do everything bro.
It can't Cook, install your electric or water meter neither fix your electric appliance.

Thanks for your advice and subtle jab

Since there's potential, incorporate your business and keep pushing. Nigeria currently is on another level economically. I only ate once yesterday.
I intend to do just that as it's part of growth in the sector. I already have my NEMSA Certification, still need to get LECAN and others. I just feel that a degree, HND and other higher qualifications will be an added advantage and advancement for my career goals.

An installer in the metering sub sector is equivalent to a laborer in a building and real estate firm. I don't even have the qualifications and certification for that right now to incorporate my business as my ND in tourism as no use in the power sector

Going back to school will be a good idea.

Hope your current job can sustain you.

About getting job after school, you need to make a lot of friends, especially with the female folks they got lot of connection
Well, for now it can but when combined with schooling and it's expenses, can't say.

As an introvert, I'm really finding it difficult building relationships with staffs of the Disco I'm currently installing meters under their franchise.
Working towards improving on my interpersonal skills though but a few tips would really help.

Trying to survive in Nigeria currently is getting hard even as a single guy only responsible for my self. I'm currently working as a meter installer but the job is based on the number of meters you installed. started this job three years ago and so far I have gathered some experience the pay is just too low

I have seen a lot of growth potential in the power sector but the metering sub sector is still growing and mostly depends on government's policy but I want to tap into the potential in the power sector.

I would like to know if it's advisable for me at 35 to go back to school and study electrical engineering and what are my chances of getting a long term job afterwards.
Inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nigerians are normally just stubborn and lawless. Another scenario very similar to these is the Nigerian Railway Station quarters and the lands surrounding it. Over the years, People have continuosly encroached the lands and build shanties other than the quarters that were originally there. These same people would come out to cry when the govt finally decides to take up their lands. I remember someone advertising a house with more than 10 rooms for just less than N1m naira some 5years back. These same people will cry victimization when govt decides to make use of it's lands.
We are our problem honestly. I haven't been there in a long time. The NRC just abandoned that area without putting in any measure to prevent such from happening abi did they just assume that leaving former railway workers in abject poverty and believe me when I say most of all this illegalities are been assisted by staffs of both the NRC ( there's still an administrative office just behind Sharon gas station) and the state ministry of works and housing.
That's how almost all the structure and machineries in all the textile companies have been vandalized now Kakuri looks like a slim same for down quarters.

That road is too narrow and has too much traffic

I am not sure the access road to this bridge has been completed. Well, even if not completed, the next government is still APC and it won't be abandoned
The one at aliyu makama road in barnawa is connected though can't say about kigo road new extension side.

This OP is a hypocrite and a liar. The lands in question belongs to Kaduna State Polytechnic. This issue has been on for long now and people have been warmed to stop encroaching the lands. I don't just get it with some people. A church and some houses were amongst the demolished buildings and the people were quick to turn it into a religious fight. They invaded the polytechnic to start destroying things in response to the church that was destroyed.
This is why I don't involve myself emotionally in such issues without knowing the facts first.
But since kadpoly is a federal establishment, what then is the business of the state government in all of these?
