I am a batch B Lagos corper passing out 2nd July... And it's been fun all through you guys would have same too... From camp to normal lasgidi life.

For those of you that want a particular location for your PPA (VI, Lekki e.t.c) during registration in camp fill your desired location and the local government. NYSC would post you to somewhere around your location. If you put a non Lagos address, NYSC would randomly post you to anywhere.

As regard the 15k state allowee it's not for everyone but for about 620 corpers (that would be posted to state establishments) you'll know you are qualified if on your posting letter you see "special duty" and it's first come first serve meaning you might be under special duty but be unlucky to get to Alausa when the lucky 620 spot have been taken, meaning "free work".

Hi guys how was the test? I was there today but wasn't allowed on the grounds that I don't have my NYSC discharge yet till 2nd July..... So I have been rescheduled till God knows when. Feel bad though.

The uba test I did was basic secondary school maths...if you can brush up on it or better still GMAT although they weren't that tough...

The english part has comprehension passages,fill in the gaps etc

Just make sure you finish on time before it logs you out....that's if it is cbt.

Well, they probably have the number they need right now but in my opinion, that test was more like a riddle than a test of abilities. From what I heard, they had 20 questions for 20 minutes. How on earth do you expect the test taker to sit back and watch his time tick away (considering slow connections and all) and still stick to an instruction that says he should go through all the questions before answering? What do you really want from these people?

I believe in a challenging environment such as a bank, they should be looking for people who can think on the fly. People who can analyse situations and make logical conclusions to benefit the organisation.

That said, only they really know what they want. If they say they want robots (pardon my choice of metaphor), who am I to argue? Their organisation, their rules! Congratulations to the successful ones. Enjoy your new jobs. (I am assuming all of them will be employed)
