This is for those in lag at the moment and interested in our upcoming beach party...

The committee feels it wld be an awesome idea, and would
justify our real purpose of organising the event. Atleast when
taking the general pix wiv our nysc cap, it wld give us uniformity, and by
the time we put up the pix anywhere, people would know
what the event was all about, they would know we are the
unique one's, the only one's who didn't camp since the
formation of NYSC, but took up the initiative and made an
impression, that even though we didn't get the fun others
had, we created our fun.... And we would remember it was
the year Ebola ravaged Nigeria . So please come with your
caps. Cheers

So After the new adjustments, this should be the basic scenerio
1 bottle of wine alcoholic/non-alcohiolic = 1000 naira and
above
A pack of juice or yoghurt-300naira * 3packs = 900 and
above
can of beer- 300 naira * 3 = 900 and above
can of soft drink- 200 * 5= 1000 and above
Pack of lacasera - 1000 and above
if we comply with this, we wont run out of drinks... We would
even have excess...
If you bring Moet, Hennesy, Ciroc, no wahala u would be
highly appreciated *wink*
You could also bring snack: shortbread, hobnobs, chips e.t.c
but whatever snack brought must be sealed for obvious
reasons....
Stuffs are normally sold at the beach ; suya, fish e.t.c..... That
should be on individual expense.
And dont forget to bring your disposable cups.

Please do well to indicate if you would attend the beach party. There is a large turn out from the BBM group, would love our Nairaland friends to come in mass also. Since the idea was born here.

This Unity bank has fixed our money into fixed deposit QED!!!.... It think its time we act and stop that move... I can't imagine not receiving my September and October alawi until November

You can board any bus goin to Ajah. They'd pass through lekki phase1 while going to Ajah. Now this Ajah buses can be boarded @ Mile2, CMS, Obalende. For those who dunno how to get to †ђξ above mentioned. U can go like this:
Oshodi-Obalende-Lekki/Ajah ....or
Cele-Mile2-Ajah ....or
Cele-Cms-Ajah ....or
Cele-oshodi-obalende-ajah.

I know we are reasoning the 1k entrance fee at elegushi, and looking at our allowee and feeling we don't want to spend much ... But let's not forget this is a one time thing, we never had the chance to camp, we never had the chance to have the fun other corpers in the past had, we might not get to see most of our friends that we met here till we do our POP next year. I know the allowee is small and our budget is big, but this is something worth doing. We can make that day a memorable one if only you guys are willing. It would be wonderful to see this wonderful ladies and gentlemen once again, together we can make it happen.... Love u guys.

Yea..i was dia sometime last month and was shocked at wat i saw...It has become a lake now..most parts of the beach have been covered with sand. Also with regards your new venue. Eleguishi beach will be a good idea but first consider the gate fee...1k flat!..how many would be willing to pay this before the party begins proper?? I think lekki beach would be ok..dey got a lil bad road to the venue but manageable doh...gate fee 5H..maybe with a lil pleading dey might agree 2H per person...datz ma opinion.

You have a good point man, but the thing is during selection, we had 2 options which was Elegushi and Kuramo, so since Kuramo has been striked out, it's only imperative that Elegushi be the next choice.

I just had to make a contact now and Pleaaaaase, there would be a slight change in plans. I jez found out now that kuramo is a shadow of itself now, not as sleek as it used to be as at 2012.... So as not to give the first timers in lagos a 'first bad beach impression' (as my man bayo said) Again I plea, that we change venue to Elegushi beach in lekki phase 1. This is so as to make everyone comfy and enjoy the cool scenario and calmness of a privately owned beach.... Yes there is the 1k entrance charge, and yes there might be that little extra charge on ur TP, but trust me it would be worth it. Please bear with us. I and bayo had a very long and pragmatic chat before reaching this conclusion... In this vein, I think the earlier stated 1k5min for drink be reduced to 1k minimum. I want the best for us all, especially the first timers in lagos. Thanks
