I really don't think does soldiers will allow us out of the camp since d main aim is 2 make sure we get d orientation. So d idea of thinking u will just go there and write ur name, den , ur out is impossible. I wasn't really prepared 4 dis campin sha cos I have an eye on dis inec temporary voters card registration job 2do. What is even d benefit? Are we gona b paid our 19800naira(August allowee) on camp And what also will b d penalty if I choose 2 skip it ?? Thanks Lagos corper

My LI said the penalty would be extension of service year without pay... He said we would be paid both August and November allowee in camp

House, since stream II camp will end 15 Dec, does it imply they will pay us for Nov and December in camp?

hope our POP, won't be in December.

With 600 Corp members to be paid 15k, will steam I not fill all spaces, leaving nothing to we stream II?

1. They won't pay you guys nov and dec allowee in camp. They wld pay u guys nov allowee in camp, then month end, you'll receive dec. Allowee

2. Not sure of ur POP, but regardless of your stream, u guys would be combined for your POP which I believe won't be Dec.

3. Since you guys have been splitted into streams, the stream 1 batch C would have 300 slots, stream 2 batch C would also have 300 slots, no cheating.

4. Can't say which Cds make sense oh. But most times, the Cds that would be given to you would depend on your course of study. I was given IT cds cos I studied Computer science, but my coursemate was given Charity Cds. So most times too, it depends on your LGA too. In camp they would also tell you about SAED, you can make that your cds too, but you'll pay for it.

Baba what they are actually saying is that even if u can the only thing u are entitled to is feeding aside that nothing gum u, no more transport allowance, no more bicycle allowance no nothing, they won't give u shi shi at the end of the camp activity so it's left for to decide whether or not u want to camp. That's why he said it's optional but they must come and write their names

And you feel if you enter camp those soldiers would let you out? I Laff! Am so not interested in that shit!

Ok for those that fall out of the 600, where are they likely going to be posted for there duties since is only d special duties that are going to work in state schools nd ministries as u said are the people entitled for the alawi?

Only those with Special Duty are entitled to get allowee, if you don't fall among that category, no need dreaming about state allowee.

Most would be posted to private schools, public schools, Lga's e.t.c If you get a public school, and there'z no special duty on ur letter, no state allowee for you.

Alausa is where the state secretariat is located.

Yes oh, you must teach. 85 percent of us were posted to schools, some lga's, then very very few private organizations.

Now lemme give you a hint, during registration in camp, the address you put would determine the location you wld serve, so put a lagos address in any area of your choice. If you put an address outside lagos, NYSC would post you to any area of their choice.

As regards teaching, u can ghost it then look for another job, but it all depends on your rapport with the proprietor of the school you are posted to.

Next question
I heard only 600 Corp members are entitled to the 15k allowee by lagos state government, what is the criteria for eligibility? And can you throw more light on state allowance!

Yes, only 600 are eligible to the 15k, though of that 600 people, some would get 10k, and before you can be eligible, you must have been posted to any of the state agencies, and even though you are posted to a state agency for you to stand the chance of getting the pay, your posting letter must have "SPECIAL DUTY" written on it.

The 15k is mostly for those who would be sent to state schools, while for those posted to lga's, ministries e.t.c would get 10k, this is because those posted to schools are believed to have more work load than others in lga's and ministries..

So if you are lucky to be among the chosen one's with SPECIAL DUTY, just move sharply to Alausa and get your Tag immediately to avoid story that touch.

Am starting to feel this circular spreading is fake. Now there is a circular as regards the camping for Stream 2 corpers for delta state. Did Delta state even have streams? So why the circular?

To start with are we (batch c14) also going to be involved in elections?

Most likely YES... Election would be in february period so u guys would partake and the EO while addressing us today said everyone would partake during election period (this is because for the voters card registration and re-registeration, some corpers would be filtered out, most especially those who aint computer literates)

But as for the giving out of Permanent voters card which commences 7th-9th and the registration which commences 12th-17th November, u guys would miss both obviously.

CD: Yeah, how are you.
Me: Am cool. Ma, I am a batch B stream2 corper and I have been hearing rumours circulating about we camping alongside batch C corpers, how true is it, can u confirm this? CD: Hmm, my dear this is weekend, plz officials things should be asked during the week.
Me: Ok.
CD: Well, you people are going to camp just know that. But I can't give a specific date, I don't want to pass out a wrong info as regards the date, but it is certain you people would camp.
Me: Ok, tanx for the time and for clarifying tinz.
CD: U welcome dear.


Thatz it. So we gonna be camping! Not really keen on it but we gat no choice.
