What the writer struggled to say even after this lengthy, winding analysis is that Nigeria is dead BROKE. There's no way around it. They're borrowing to pay salaries, if at all, while what's left is wasted on the greed and gluttony of Tinubu, his friends, and family. |

The only thing I hold Tinubu responsible for is not doing anything meaningful to sort the mess out. He's either fighting to stay minimally healthy or settling himself, family, and friends with whatever is left that they can grab.
Buhari is 💯 responsible for the mess. He was lazy. He was incompetent. He was corrupt. He was resentful. He was bigoted.
Lastly, Nigeria is broke. If it were to be a corporation, it would have already declared bankruptcy. No business borrows money just to pay salaries. Nigeria CANNOT survive the current 36 state structure. Nor can it survive the greed and gluttony of its politicians like Tinubu. I made peace since 1993 that Nigeria will never be better during my lifetime. That way, my expectations are in check. Not that I mind surprises. |

How many sacks of naira can give you a night of peace of mind? No roaring, humming or singing generators. No giant mosquitoes. No police threatening to kill you over nothing. No kidnappers or ritualists. PEACE2023: Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this article is based on my personal experience.
I work with a High profile federal government parastatal with good remuneration.
We were 100 that was employed in 2013 drawing from South and North. We have been promoted 3 times and expecting another promotion.
But something is disturbing me as a Southerner from South East. About 25 persons from my set have resigned and relocated abroad. Only 2 are still in Nigeria.
It is more shocking that this 25 persons are all from the South. Either South West or South East or South South.
My fear is the implications when our set will get to the pick. No northerner had resigned or thinking of resigning as at today.
The future implications is that they will occupy majority of the apex positions in this parastatal and the south will start shouting marginalization and why all top directors are from the north.
The last meeting I had at the NNPCL Head quarter's Abuja saw 99% of Top Management Staff from the north.
During The introduction of members I was shaking my head. This bring me to ask, could this issue I am experiencing in my own organization be the same in NNPCL?
Currently a Lady I know in NNPCL resigned and moved to Canada. You already know the future implications to the South when her set will get to the top.
Why are Southerners relocating and leaving their beautiful jobs why the northerners are comfortably enjoying the same work.
Is this greed on the south or that our problems are too much?
I taunt my friend from sokoto some days ago why he doesn't want to japa, he laughed and answered me, to do what over there?
Why are the southerners the only people who sees reasons to japa? Knowing that we can not live past 100 yrs and we can not go anywhere with all this wealth.
Remember the higher a southerner become a director, the higher the chance of Southerners getting employment in this organizations.
If you work with a good federal government agency share your thoughts.
Are you experiencing the same in your organization? |

Look, I'm not arguing with you because it is a waste of time doing that with ignorant so-called Nigerian Christians like you. The only people sinking their teeth into tithe and never letting go are your pastors who don't want you to know the truth because the truth will affect their pockets. Jesus Christ mentioned tithe only once in Matthew 23:23. Go and read it and see if you can learn something today. emonis88: U r the one confusing urself. Jesus Christ mentioned tithe only once - Matthew 23:23. But because it didn't suit their purpose, Nigerian pastors rarely mentioned or referred to it until recently when people started questioning their teachings on tithe. You can read and interpret it for yourself. OkCornel: Ok, so where did Jesus and the Apostles ask for and collect tithes? 🤷🏿♂️ |
Christianity Etc › Re: What You Should Do If Your Pastor Rejects Tithe — Adeboye by ManOfSon: 2:14pm On Oct 06, 2024 |
Because those who brought Christianity to you want you to stay confused and arguing over issues like this. The Jews whose Bible the old testament is, they don't read the new testament because they don't believe Christ is the Messiah. However, you who believe Christ are using their Bible to cause confusion. emonis88: Then y is it part of the Bible for christians? |
Christianity Etc › Re: What You Should Do If Your Pastor Rejects Tithe — Adeboye by ManOfSon: 10:42am On Oct 06, 2024 |
You so-called Christians don't have a clue what your faith is all about. Deuteronomy is for Jews, not Christians. The Bible text for Christians is Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John. What did Jesus Christ say? What did Jesus Christ do? That's how to be a Christian. Don't go hiding in the Old Testament. That's the Jewish Bible. OkCornel: Eat your tithes. Dubious pastors will never ever preach it.
Deuteronomy 14 v 22-29 22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.
23 👉Eat the tithe👈 of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always.
24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away),
25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose.
26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then 👉you and your household shall eat there👈 in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice.
27 And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,
29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. |

"we are eager to fully roll it out in our new passport regime."
It hasn't yet been confirmed to be the game-changer they claim it is. You expect them to have learnt from previous alerts like this that ended up in smoke. No. Rather, it seems from the list of those invited to this demonstration, they're more interested in social media mileage than actually changing the game.

This would be funny if it wasn't also very serious. Go cap in hand begging for loans. Get the loans. Use loans to pay salaries and buy some vanity toys like aircrafts, yacht, and bulletproof vehicles. Return to the persons who gave you the loans, cap still in hand, begging them to cancel the loans so you won't have to pay back. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. A business that does this will be declared bankrupt immediately. If Nigeria were to be a business, it would have long been dissolved. |

Trump says:
"I didn't need to go through court systems..."
This is why they say truthfully that he's a liar. Throughout his dodgy business life, Trump used the courts and lawsuits to scare off those he owed money. He's known to be America's most litigious human being - most of the suits filed by him against the poor to avoid paying them money he owed them for working for him.
Trump now saying that he doesn't like court cases is one more of his many lies. |

The list of Obasanjo's atrocities against Nigeria can't be this short! How come it's only out of government that he sees all the good things he should have done as President? There wouldn't be a Buhari if Obasanjo didn't chose selfish politics over and above the well-being of Nigerians. He should stop gaslighting the country into thinking he doesn't share most of the blame for what APC has turned Nigeria into. Focusmind: Even though I agreed with you on this your statement, you still supervised one of the most flawed elections in Nigeria. Your choice of corrupt Maurice Iwu as INEC Chairman and imposition of Andy Ubah on Anambra, were extremely corrupt practices, that were beyond redemption. You may be pardoned of some of your electoral malpractices you committed then, as your administration was the best, in terms of economic policies and management of resources.
We were able to jump from one good job to another because of huge opportunities that existed in the telecoms, banking, consulting and other sectors, respectively. Comparing your administration to the current one of Tinubu, economically, is like comparing apple 🍎 to bitter lemon 🍋 |
