I am a counselor by self study and by profession. Not certified per se. I do a lot of child counseling.
Your problem is that you have a perfect picture of how things should happen or be.
You wish things could be like you have always seen it work for other people.
The truth is this, your story isn’t the first, there are thousands and one that has had your same experience.
Although some of your actions/decisions could have helped make things better but had you known.
You need to start accepting what is real and what is possible.
The good news is this.... in your case, a lot of good things are still very possible.
But to reach there, you need the best of yourself, and you need to do what has to be done.

So stand up and while you are not comfortable in your skin yet and your legs still wobbles and is till shaky. You need to still have to do what has to be done. The feeling never gets better until things start to fall into places and for this to happen those things needs some of your commitment and actions.

Gosh, how did you know that? That's what am really going through. I think a lot, sometimes I find it difficult to concentrate due to too much thinking.

Only God knows how many mansions and Range Rovers have bought in my head. I've achieved everything in my head, like one living in fantasy.

Lemme tell you something, at 28 I had all a young man will wish for but I was fighting in a war and getting shot at almost everyday.

I lost mates and colleagues and that thought me everything didn't matter if there was no life.

It's not too late to start learning a skill, some are free online, my sister sent me a link for Google digital marketing and I have been taking that too, anything can happen you know.

Learning ain't gonna be a problem but the tools. One gonna need enough and good working system which I don't have any

I am working presently in a Federal Institution.
The day our class representative saw me there he was speechless, just laughing all this laugh you know that’s not from the heart .
Himself been applying for work in same place I am working but wasn’t successful.
Another of my friend finished with a nice grade , but he’s working in a hotel .
If I was told it will turn out like this for me , I won’t believe.

my parents have retired and at my age I'm supposed to be taking care of them but rather they're still the one feeding me with their meagre pension.

At that age I was battling with my carry overs.

First of all, you have to change your Monika. Almost everyone you know has one challenge or the other but bearing yours as a "name" sounds like acceptance and ready to live with them. Your mindset is an other thing to change, not everything that happens to us are spiritual but when your mind is fixed or conditioned to reason or believe in certain ways, almost everything will be fine narrowed down towards same ways.
