awuf:As a mother I dont see any reason why you cant leave your kids for study initially. I just belive the V.Os have a particular target of visas to give and so any avenue to deny is used....if she was taking children he would have definetely cited purpose of visit. |

rolandy22:I would encourage you to apply for the LLM notwithstanding your current GPA, ensure your statement of interest for the school is strong and send them a sample of your final year dissertation. as your are bent on a PGD. the alternative dispute resolution seems to at least make the most sense, it ties well with your law degree and current job function in HR. |
jnyuwa02:Wow....thanks for the reply, i noticed many people here were rejected TRV for mismatch of course of study like you said......but would it be better if i apply for a Masters of Arts in Criminal Justice....would it be preferrable...urgent reply i would still urge you to do an LLM. M.A in criminal Justice is tailored to employees of the criminal Justice system that is, prosecutors, criminal defendants, people that work in the correctional facilities like prisons and maybe like us EFCC etc, if you do an LLm it touches all aspects of law and you have less explaining to do. Also check University of windsor thier LLM has quite an interesting package. |
maziude:Thank you so much my people for the advice. Hmmmm God will help me with this Gmat. I shall testify. |

I have worked for 10 years in my family company and 6 yrs with Government, I would like to go for an LLM because the phd in Management I can qualify for requires GMAT, i would love to avoid that. My work experience has been in Government Finance sector as a Lawyer and on company Law Issues (Company Secretary). do You think the LMM may fly? or should i just brace myself for the GMat. LLM entry is winter 2018 phd autumn 2018. p.s I have TRV already expires in 2020. ![]() |
