numen: The simple truth is that the word of God, is the word of God. Be it in paper or electronic form. But the BIGGER truth is that the paper Bible has no distraction while our electronics devides/tablets(like the one am using to post now) has unlimited distractions.

You might argue that you'll resist the urge to view those notifications or other things, but why give temptation that opportunity in the first place?

I am not claiming to be a Saint, but I believe the word of God that resides in the paper bible is more efficacious than the one residing alongside, immoral pics, videos, txt, games, web links etc. Just like the word of God in our heads is more efficacious than the paper one.

So good ppl, memorize the bible, and if you can't, carry a paper bible. For me, electronic bible is a matter of convenience...if I want to study, its paper bible all the way.
