Gold Membership is not a guarantee for meeting honest suppliers. Membership categories are based on the amount of money paid, as each category has its own membership fee. Everybody talks about scammers all the time. May be we should now shift to buyers who are scamming suppliers. People are never talking about this, yet it happens all the time. “I will send the remaining amount of money after you send the goods,” and that’s the last you will hear from them. Free samples with free courier and that’s the end. And what about people who can’t afford 5 units of Laptops but will be asking for a 20Ft Container load of Laptop computers with the promise to pay on arrival of goods. Guys, this is year 2010, not 1910. Those who live in a glass house don’t throw stones. |
@jidesamuel I am just wondering if your company has a name, a landline and an e-mail address. This is because I didn’t see anyone in your advert. Just an observation! |
@ttmasta It is true Nigeria is not the only country with Scam artists, but maybe we have too many of them. And by the way, Paypal, though the most prominent, is just one of the many online sites where Nigerians are excluded. This should be a food for thought for us and our leaders. |
@JeSoul Shawty you need to understand that generally posters advertising services in here are considered guilty scammers until proven otherwise. My sister, really? That’s a new one! Guilty until proven innocent? @opabujum . . . . . You cannot blame us for being suspicious, that's the Naija brand for you. Brother, and what is this naija brand I hear about all the time? Dishonesty of all sorts aka 419? I guess you have all been unnecessary hard on the brother. Colinsfbi, what shawty777 advertised is quite broad – business, study, etc.; and in fairness, he included his e-mail address. You couldn’t expect him to explain everything in just one piece. You could have just mailed him if you needed help in any of the areas he is willing to assist, and then use your own wisdom in dealing with him. And tigerpaws the scammers catcher, I think I need to recommend you to EFCC for a top position. You have a hell of job in your hands because there are lots of adverts on Nairaland. |
This is hilarious. A $12 per night hotel? That must be a zero star hotel! |
A replica is a copy; a copy is a non-genuine; and a non-genuine is a fake. You don’t sell a fake deceiving people it is genuine. |
Dear babniyen, I can see you deal in Children’s wears. I have some stuff which I think may interest you. They are Kids’ Sports canvas (EU23-28 & EU29-35). They are uniquely beautiful, of high quality and inexpensive. Our company has exported tons (tens of thousands pairs) of them to Australia (our main market), but we haven’t exported even a single pair of them to Nigeria, even though we sell other products to Nigeria. It might make a good business sense to take advantage of this vacuum. What’s more? They are not a contraband like children’s clothes and other children’s footwear, meaning, they can be legally imported into Nigeria. In case you feel interested, send me your e-mail address and I will mail the catalogue to you. We also have EU35-39 for Teenage Girls and EU39-43 for Teenage Boys. |
Hi everybody, It is unfortunate that some people on this Site are collecting e-mail addresses under the pretext of wanting to do business. Then they forward these addresses to their Russian/Ukranian Scammer-Ladies to use in sending mails. Below is one of such that I just received in my e-mail box. Hello Dear, It is a pleasure to write this mail to you,to remind you that after gone through your profile on www.nairaland.com, i concluded that i must get back to you. Dear dozzy24, our company can ship good quality jeans in large quantities to you. But remember that Jeans, like all textile products (Fabrics & Garments), is a contraband, thus is best shipped to Lome or Cotonou. We do this all the time. However, we will leave the decision of the shipping destination to you. Can you send me your e-mail address so I can contact you for details? |
True happiness comes from what is within (in you), and not in what is without (what you have - your possessions). ![]() |
Dear saridon_p, I was just thinking, it may work better this way. Just give me your e-mail address and I will send the catalogue to you. ![]() |
Dear saridon_p, In response to your mail, why not send me an e-mail, then I can send you our hottest electronic products’ catalogue with trading conditions. It doesn’t matter where you are, we can ship to any part of the world. What matters most is your intention, as long as you are honest. We are not scammers and we don’t want to be scammed either. And I hope you can trust the people you intend to ship to. Remember we are talking about Dear Nigeria. |
Dear 2dmax, Our company cannot meet your needs. We are an exporter and wholesaler, meaning, we do only bulk sales; and our products are directly from the factories with warrantees. Looking at your request, what you need is a company who does drop-shipping. There are some of them advertising on this forum and many other internet sites. They can sell small units to you and ship directly to you. This is more of internet shopping than actual importation of goods. |
Dear e-business, You amaze me. Are you reading other postings on this forum apart from yours? Read the second-to-the-last posting before yours by marahcn2. You might find it useful. |
Dear Abgovernor, I have just seen your posting of 22nd June, 2010, so I am not sure if you have been able to get any positive response to your posting. Our company regularly exports Textiles to Lome, Togo for our Nigerians Clients because Textiles (Fabrics and Garments) currently are banned products in Nigeria. If you are willing to go to Lome to clear your goods or if you have a Clearing Agent who can help with your clearing in Nigeria, get in touch with us by e-mail. |
Dear izzychap, there is no list of products that can be imported into Nigeria. What exists is the list of products that cannot be imported into Nigeria, from which you can know products you can lawfully be imported into Nigeria. For this list, let me know your e-mail address so I can send it there, or send me a mail and I will send the list in my reply. Regards! ![]() |
If you would like to import from China, our company regularly exports to Lome, Togo for Nigerians that are interested in contrabands (banned products like shoes, bags, belts and clothing that are currently prohibited from importation into Nigeria), and we also export Electronics directly to Lagos and Abuja, as these are not banned products. And for non-Nigerian residents on this forum, we can also export to wherever you are, as we are an international company. And I would like to emphasize that we deal in only high-quality and durable products, which are inexpensive. But we don’t export used (second-hand) products of any form, so please do not ask us for these. If you are a honest businessman who might like to import through us, feel free to send us an e-mail. Many blessings. |
Dear Shakes85, Our company regularly exports to Lome, Togo for Nigerians that are interested in contrabands (banned products like shoes, bags, belts and clothing that are currently prohibited from importation into Nigeria), and we also export Electronics directly to Lagos and Abuja, as these are not banned products. But there is one particular product which Nigerians are not purchasing, which I believe will be profitable. And what’s more, the risk on this product is very low. If you would like to know more about this product, send an e-mail to me. Blessings. ![]() |
Dear Nero12, Your answer is no and yes. In terms of doing business, there is no place like Lagos, Nigeria, but because most of the fashion products like shoes, bags, belts, clothing, etc. which are currently prohibited from importation into Nigeria, can be legally imported into Togo (Lome), so many Nigerians businessmen have gone there to set up Shops. Our company regularly exports there for our Nigerian Customers. But what I find surprising is that they also usually request that Electronic products (which can be legally imported into Nigeria) be sent there, so I guess it may be a better place for Importers. Perhaps, the Customs Clearance cost there is much lower than that of Nigeria. And if it is a better place for Importers, that also makes it a better place for buyers. ![]() |

Dear Goldstar4, I have just seen your posting of 8th August, 2010, so I am not sure if you have decided on a suitable project for your wife. Our company regularly exports to Lome, Togo for Nigerians that are interested in contrabands (banned products like shoes and clothing that are currently prohibited from importation into Nigeria), and we also export Electronics directly to Lagos and Abuja, as these are not banned products. Having said the above, I know of one particular product which Nigerians are not investing in, which will be very suitable for a woman (like your wife) and also profitable. It costs less than 5USD per piece, but you must buy a minimum of 600pieces. That makes it $3000. It will cost you less than 3USD/pc for Sea Shipment from China and Custom Clearance in Lagos. You are still less tan 8USD. It is guaranteed that you can sell the product at 16USD without much problem. Also, it is not a contraband, so it can be shipped to Nigeria. Out of the 1Million naira, you will still have 250K left to set up your wife’s business. Dear Goldstar4, if you want to know about this product, send me a direct e-mail. It will then be up to you to decide if you will like to invest in it or not. And I would also suggest you take everything before the Lord before you act. Bless you! ![]() |
Dear Guang, Just send a business inquiry to our company, including “Attention: Thomas” in the “Subject” space if you are a Nigerian. If you are not a Nigerian, please state your Nationality and your inquiry will be directed to the relevant person. After receiving your mail, you will be attended to within 72 hours (3 days). Let your inquiry be as detailed as possible (but without repetitions or irrelevancies – explicitly explain your intentions and desires) so that you can be assisted within the shortest period of time possible. Blessings. |
Shame on many of you here who have posted negative things about Rev Kumuyi. When I first started reading all your trash, I thought I was on the US International Yahoo site forum. For goodness sake, we are Nigerians. We may be everything, but carelessly insulting our Elders, let alone a revered man of God, is not and should not become part of values. May the Lord reform all of you negatively judging the man of God before it is too late for you. Kudos to the man of God! It is obvious this is not about sex, but about companionship, which is the first reason for marriage. That’s why he has chosen a never-married, 65 year old woman whom he believes he is spiritually compatible with. May our good Lord uphold and strengthen you till the very end sir in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. |
I am a Nigerian, and a long-time Asian resident who currently lives and works in China. If you find any Seller (Chinese company) online whose identity and authenticity you would like to verify, I will be more than willing to help you do that within a 24-hour period, provided you too are honest and sincere in your intention – no time wasting. First find a Seller you would like to purchase from, then I can help you check up the company’s registration information and place a call to the company to ask them relevant questions. I would also like to state clearly that helping you is absolutely free. Domestic calls here are very cheap, so there is nothing to charge for. Good luck and God’s blessings. ![]() |
