Christianity Etc › Re: Does God Permit Polygamy In The New Testament? by Mariangeles(f): 10:25pm On Jun 13 |
Polygamy was never God's plan for man, even in the beginning (old testament). If it was, God would've presented Adam with more than one woman.
Polygamy has always been the choice of man, and hence, their eventual downfall. |

Majority of the comments said she looks sick and malnourished so let it be.
Even with the made in Aba clothes, people easily can tell and state their opinion.

Christianity Etc › Re: Kumuyi: My Sons Will Not Succeed Me, Deeper Life Is Not A Family Inheritance by Mariangeles(f): 7:45pm On Jun 10 |
Omoluabi16: I disagree on this. After all, church is a spiritual something. It was God Himself who chose Aaron's son Eleazer so this will not depend on training. If Eleazer had not followed in his father's footsteps, would God still have chosen him? Remember what happened to Nadab and Abihu before him. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Kumuyi: My Sons Will Not Succeed Me, Deeper Life Is Not A Family Inheritance by Mariangeles(f): 7:23pm On Jun 10 |
judewrites: Aaron was from and headed a family of priests...so therefore it was only natural for his son to succeed him.
If a pastor's children aren't called to full ministry like himself or herself, it's not advisable to make them inherit the ministry at their death.
RCCG founder passed on to Pastor Adeboye because he obeyed divine instructions, if not his biological children today would have been running the RCCG.
Not everyone is gifted to do ministry, that's why in the RCCG, majority of ministers are part-time. A part time ministry cannot do ministry as effective as a full time minister called directly by God. Would you (he) say the same if he were a king or a big business owner? See, if ministry is in one's father's bloodline, then the children are called to ministry, and at least one of the sons should be trained to succeed the father. Let's just say he's speaking for himself. |

LordIsaac: Simple. That's my point. In fact, he owes his sons some apology. Since it's for God to decide, I doubt if there is any wisdom here...I speak respectfully! If he believes he sons cannot succeed him, then it says more about him. |
