Plismoll: Hello house,
Pls, who have successfully deposited into blocked account with Form A through First Bank, recently? Marie96 and Sparkle01, reply my mails, biko.
It is urgent.
Danke! I'm sorry, Plismoll. I did answer your mails. Perhaps you should recheck your inbox. My money is still with First Bank. The lady in charge said she wanted to get through with the smaller bills before my €8000. I'll definately let you know when it gets done. |

Was it for school fees or PTA or BTA Hi. What bank did you use? What reason did you state on the form? What reason did they give for turning you down? Hi everyone. From what I've read, the AMmail is a crucial part of the Visa process. What mail do you get if you funded your account beforehand? |

liftedkris: Hello winter peepz I applied for Form A today at diamond bank and I received my debit alert today....... Isn't that incredible? And there rate is cheaper compared to some banks like GTB, UnionBank etc. Though the transaction was done with USD but when I tried converting it I found out that it is around 225/euro. Unionbank/GTB is around 240/euro. Diamond Bank where, please? |

sparkle01: First bank I was at First Bank, Akure today and the lady in charge of Form A transfers seemed unsure if she could initiate the transfer as the Deutshe Bank account bears my name. Apparently, the transfer should be directly to a school account. I told her it's been done but I don't think she's handled many transactions like that. What First Bank branch did you use? |

uchezdedon: From my own view I don't see Paderborn as expensive city, rather I see it as a loving and beautiful city. Secondly with Paderborn (NRW) semester ticket you can travel to many cities, this will help you a lot in terms of Job. You might not understand this now till you come and see for yourself. Last but not the least, I ve not visited Bamberg or the school in question, but I can tell you that the university of Paderborn is wonderful. Though you have to make your choice... This is helpful. Thank you. If I do come, at least I'll know someone there. |

willy2000: I only know about my faculty which happen to be nice in regards to prof student ratio. You are able to schedule personal coaching time with your Prof. if you have problems with his/her modules. This privilege you won't find in bigger schools.
As for the town, you can google it up, I like it here, it's not so big and not so small, just perfect. I know your next question...... there are student jobs available if you have the energy to work.....Lmao, but try and learn the Language sha......my two cents. Now I'm laughing. Are we really that predictable? Wasn't even going to ask that. The course modules are hectic. There's a semester abroad and an internship to be done. Don't know if I would even have that much time. |

detutu1: Now I get where you are coming from. Cheaper is relative based on how you live. Wait for a response from the schools bearing in mind that time is going and the "rush" is here...so I 'll advise being realistic in your decision. Paderborn isn't as expensive as some towns...you do know we can't decide for you. This is something you have to do on your own... Lol. It's really not about the cost of living. The course at Bamberg is a limited edition thing. More prestigious, you can say. But I guess I do have to decide for myself. Thank you, though. |

willy2000: Okay, from what I've heard ,the course is a very competitive one. There are some pecks attached to it also I'm studying software system science. That's really nice. I've got no brain for the sciences. I think you guys are demi gods. Lol. It is a really nice course, the European Joint Masters. I checked. If only I knew my certificate would be ready by April. But with Nigeria and the State University system, who knows? It's not like you can schedule your life around them. What do you know about the school, and the town? |

detutu1: You might want to weigh your options...what are the courses offering? What advantage does one have over the other...if getting a document will be a problem for now, you can apply for admission at paderborn and change afterwards once you get the certificate . Again I think looking for a way to get the certificate before you travel is very important and safer. Just think about it. All the best Thank you. I have applied to and got the admission letters from both schools. They both offer basically the same package. The cost of living in Bamberg is just a tad cheaper. But then again, the town is smaller. Sent an e-mail to the school registrar too, waiting for his reply. Would be nice if anyone had some information about the standards of living of both towns, though... |

Hi everyone. I have got admission letters from Paderborn and Bamberg for the 2016 Winter Sermester. However, Bamberg stated on the admission letter that I need to submit my certificate before the Summer of next year or my enrollment will be null and void. I only have the Statement of Result and my school's college secretary said the school is not likely going to issue the certificate anytime soon. Which leaves Paderborn. The school has made no mention of the Statement of Result not being sufficient unlike Bamberg but I do not want any suprises later. Could someone please give me their opinions? |

Chiznonso: How long does it take 4 the account to be opened? How many weeks, I have been waiting like 4eva I applied to open mine on the 12th of April and I got the mail confirming it open on the 24th of May. Sometimes it takes longer than the 3-4 weeks stated on the form. It will come. |

Hello Everyone. I'm new here and I hope to be an active part of this forum. Please accommodate me. Thank you.
I recently applied to some universities in Germany and I am in a bit of a bind because I have no idea which University to choose. I set myself up by applying to too many schools, I admit. I applied for the MA English and American Studies programmes at Paderborn, Freiburg, Jena, Tubingen and Bamberg. I have got the admission letters from Paderborn and Bamberg and I am fairly certain I'll get into the other schools as I have received notice of admission processing. I would like anyone with prior knowledge about these schools and the living conditions in these towns to help me make my choice.
Second, I recently got confirmation of my Blocked Account opening from Deutsche Bank and I have no idea how to transfer the requisite fund into it. I already have the money available. I would be very grateful if someone would please enlighten me on how to send the money into the account. |
