I am talking from experience.

It is a fraudulent plan. I suscribed on 10th, and yesterday 16th it has finished. I only use it for nairaland, naij.com add premium times. (1.5gig in 6days).

1. After subscribing you cannot see ur data balance till it is finished (*131*4# will always give u error message)

2. I called customer care to ask of my data details; response I got was the application used to chheck is unavailable (MTN's usual scam).

3. Data statistics on my tablet showed usage of over 900MB, where did the remaing 600mb go?

Beware of MTN's own sha. It is only big volume for name, the data goes sharp sharp like a plate of eba b4 a hungry man.

Bro that has not been my experience with the 1.5g plan. I can check my balance and i have even downloaded 3 seasons of game of thrones and i still have some mb.

I got the above text from mtn claiming that i could buy 1gb for 500 naira. Knowing MTN's reputation as a a cunning company I want to find out if anyone else has been using this package so i can try it as soon as my data subscription is exhausted.

Masts and meters are not the same thing. Asking for free meters is like asking for free phones from telcos. While I do not support the bad practises of the discos demanding free meter is an unreasonable request.

airtels 1gb is like 200mb.

Which countries do you think built those technologies in China? All it takes is for the western and Japanese companies to move their Tech to Africa. It would be much cheaper logistically (Closer proximity to North America and Europe), in manufacturing and labour cost. Anyways, there are many articles on this market shift happening in the near future.

U really don't know how the manufacturing sector operates. Let me try and enlighten you a bit.
1.) if i have a company and my team of engineers have developed a product,
2.) i build a prototype of the product to test how it functions.
3.)i outsource the mass production to a manufacturing plant that specializes in that sector(if i don't own a factory).
4.)the factory mass produces the product to specifications and send to me
5.)i market my product.
Note the factory must already have the technology to translate my design to an actual product
Foxconn one of the largest chinese manufacturers produces mobile phones for apple, samsung and other major mobile phone companies. It is a full fledged chinese company established by chinese business men.
Also there are many asian countries with cheaper labor and good power supply why have they not taken over manufacturing from china?
