The militants invaded Molai in a military convoys method and attacked Molai at about 6:30pm, leaving eleven persons dead and many others injured,

A teenage girl that was found pregnant in an uncompleted building in Bayelsa has narrated how her aunty whom she stays with treated her so badly which lead to her present condition.

One Comrade Kesiye Godswill who took to his Facebook to share the story of the girl and solicits on her behalf to well meaning Nigerians to come to her aid.

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) and the Jonde Jam Fulani Youth Association alleged that the an attack was carried out by Irigwe militia from Miyango.

Muhammad Nuru Abdullahi, the chairman of MACBAN, of Plateau state said 29 carcasses were found in Kuru; while 314 were counted in presence of security agents in Maiyanga, near the School of Accountancy in Kwal District of Bassa Local Government Area. Abdullahi said the attack had also claimed the life of one Shehu Saedu; while one Mubarak Adamu was still missing.

The IMO state Office of the EFCC laid a raid on residence areas of Okwu Urata, Aladinma and Egbu, the raid came as a result of an intelligence report to the commissioner which states that the suspects were living lavish lifestyles without any known means of livelihood, accusing them of defrauding unsuspecting victims through the internet.


The raid which was carried out on 1st May arrested 38 suspected internet fraudsters known as Yahoo yahoo, during which items like 25 different exotic cars, laptops, and mobile phones were recovered.

Dangote truck heavily loaded with bags of cement collided into a motor park and killed more than 10 people on the spot.

The incident which happened along Jattu juncion Auchi, Edo state was as a result of failed brakes.


The truck was coming from Abuja, Okene road and was headed towards Auchi- Benin raod when it had a failed brake and the driver was unable to control it so he ran into a motor park and 8 people were killed instantly, then later after transferring the cement to another truck 8 more corps were found, According to an eyewitness.

More than 230 victims of human trafficking have been rescued by police in Benin and Nigeria as a whole in a task facilitated by INTERPOL the organization said on Wednesday that various unfortunate victims were additionally rescued from premises where they were constrained into prostitution.

With various investigations ongoing police arrested 47 individuals and seized, vehicles money, cell phones and laptops. Forced labour and exploitation Evidence in the region shows that victims of trafficking are trafficked in a deceptive way and held in bandage in different labour intensive activities.

A large number of the 230 rescued kids were moved around as products themselves over the border and made to work in business sectors throughout the day like hawking, fetching water, cooking conveying and carrying heavy loads or filling in as housemaids. Some were the casualties of sexual abuse.

The kids are between the age range of 11 and 16 with the most youngest rescued at the border within Benin and Nigeria. There police found a kid who had been compelled to carrying clandestinely between the two countries heavy goods, for example, sacks of rice weighing up to 40 kg.

Nigeria's Minister of Finance Zainab Ahmed, has once again reassured Nigerians that the country has no plan to remove fuel subsidy.

This was said in a press statement issued to further clarify why the country cannot remove subsidy as advised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at the just-concluded Spring Meetings in Washington DC United States of America.

She said NNPC is the sole importer of petroleum products and so when they import it is the cost of business and they deduct that cost before they remit the little money to the federation account. So that is completely different. It is more cost effective it is cheaper and what is being done now is easier to monitor what transpired.

Ayu Serli a University student who was found dead in her boarding room in Banyuasri village Singaraja Indonesia last Thursday was allegedly killed by her boyfriend,simply identified as KI who admitted to killing the victim just because he was jealous of her male college friends.

The young man was arrested by police hours after the body of his 20 year old girlfriend Ni Made Ayu Serli Mahardika was seen by concerned friends.

During interrogations the suspect told police that he committed the horrific act in a fit of uncontrollable jealousy.
