Nna2025:
So guys, I need help, A friend brought a client for the sale of a property. Finally payment was made on Tuesday and unfortunately, He lost a long battle to an illness on April 16th.

He is separated, has two kids. The question now is, who do I give his share of the money. His mother, siblings, his estranged wife or Charity.

Have been pondering over this the entire week, decided to bring it here to see if you guys can help with quality inputs.

Bless Ya'all.
His mother..with instructions to send part for the kids via the separated wife.

If you give to the separated wife, she will not give his mother anything but rather use it to carry small small boys since the husband is no more

obeegee:
Good initiative really.

The bigger question is the ability of the local manufacturers to meet demand. They should also be supported, so cost of production (power costs, logistics and taxes) does not make prices unaffordable for nigerians
1. China and India do not produce with Generators.

2. What are the approved raw materials production companies the local drug producers will be buying from?

3. Who will monitor the drug production standards

“Nigerian don’t even want 24 hours light, can they even afford 24 hours light ? Nigerians just want to come home at 8pm and meet light so they won’t sweat when they sleep and also meet the light by 7am so they can iron thier cloths and then you can take the light and divert it to where factories are. Nigerians are not asking for much and they’re the easiest people to please. How can this be too much?”

Can you give any evidence to your claim that generator and diesel sellers are sabotaging power in Nigeria?
What about solar installers? Are you sure they are not also sabotaging power?
Solar only started expanding in recent years. After 66 years (1960–2026), Nigeria still cannot provide steady electricity to its citizens. At this point, people are right to question the interests benefiting from this failure.
PoliticsRe: Fact Check: Did Nigeria’s Power Generation Exceed 6,000MW As Adelabu Claimed? by MarketDispatch: 10:30am On Apr 27
allthingsgood:
Nobody can save this electricity situation.

The only solution is to ban all generator importation. The generator importers are the ones sabotaging Nigeria. They will never let light be stable. Generator in Nigeria is a trillion naira business
I think Constant Electricity availability in nigeria is affected by 3 things.
1. Generator sellers
2. Diesel sellers
3. And the corrupt officials that collect bribe from the two above to sabotage light to make people constantly buy Diesel and generators

Dangote's ordeal comes to mind ..he was being frustrated until he started exposing the official that pays millions of dollars school fees for his children to go and school abroad

PoliticsRe: Where Is The Siemens Deal? 4 Years Later, Nigerians Are Still In The Dark by MarketDispatch: 5:21pm On Apr 25
OredoPikin:
Back in 2022/23, during the campaign run up to the 2023 elections, Peter Obi traveled to Egypt to study how they solved their power crisis, a fix so successful they now run a surplus. He wanted to see if that model could work for Nigeria.

What did he get for it? Attacks.
APC supporters mocked him, insisting the Buhari led APC government had already signed a deal with the same Siemens that handled Egypt’s turnaround. Photos of transformers circulated. “It’s done,” they said. “Obi is late.”

Fast forward to 2026. Four years have passed. Another election cycle is here. APC is still in power.

for context, the deal was signed in 2018 to add 25,000MW to our electricity generation. It's been 8yrs since that deal was signed.

So, where is the Siemens deal?
Where is the electricity?

Where are the transformers we were shown back then? Where is the megawatt increase Nigerians were promised under the Presidential Power Initiative with Siemens?

If the deal was real and executed, why are we still battling the same grid collapses and poor supply? If it failed, why the silence?

We can’t pretend this is not a question worth asking. Before we start debating 2027, Nigerians deserve an account of the last promises made.

To the APC supporters and defenders who told us the Siemens deal was already "settled" in 2022: where is it?

Power is not propaganda. It’s either in your sockets or it is not. And right now, the only thing Nigerians can see clearly is darkness.

Where is the Siemens deal?
Where is the electricity?
have you forgotten the news that the chief driver of that Siemens power project was allegedly killed by covid but the same covid did not affect the Siemens Oyingbo people he discussed with, neither did the covid affect the driver that was in the same vehicle with him from airport to his house. Since then no one has really driven the Siemens deal to follow through. Little wonder you have Band ABCD
