festacman:Your last line made me drop some tears. I have been on a mission to rescue my father for years now. He'll always tell me to respect my mother regardless and that he doesn't want trouble in his home. The man has been through hell so much that even my sisters are now coming to terms with who the aggressor was all along. Until Gov Obiano's children tell you his story, you can only imagine what he is going through. But why would women choose to deny their men peace ![]() This is a research question |
Trying to avoid what people will say and people ended up saying it OVER HER DEAD BODY. I am a strong believer in divorce. Try all you could to make the marriage work, but if it's not working, PLEASE LEAVE WITH YOUR LIFE INTACT. I would want her church to address this issue. Some of these churches put heavy yokes on their members using the scripture and it's sad. If Prophet Iginla and Pastor Chris (the two most popular Chris) can divorce their spouses, who am I?? I'd rather be divorced than dead |
helinues:The unions can shut down without consequences. How do I break it down for you?? |
helinues:I have modified the earlier post. Any public sector organization with legitimate and recognized union can down tolls. The university unions is a classic example. NULGE is protesting the security threat that their members face in Anambra. It is not SOLUDO that is asking them to shut down. |
helinues:Federal universities across the country are currently shut down. Did buhari consent to it? The unions are shutting down not the governor. There is no state executive yet. The commissioners were confirmed only yesterday. Swearing in is expected to be next week so the EMERGENCY STATE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING stated in the report is for NULGE |
This thread is misleading. The message is not from Soludo but from the Anambra State chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees NULGE. Please stop spreading misinformation. |
I blame Annie for this. She was busy policing tubaba and fighting his family while pampering her family. She got served by her ENTITLED USELESS ELDER BROTHER |
TheOldGods:That's how many of them are. You just have to look for the one whose selfishness you can tolerate. But run away from the ones who always feel ENTITLED. Your current babe is one. If she was only selfish, she would have realized her mistake, apologized and ate the food she ordered but alas, she's an entitled bitch. |
richie240:I understand that the protest was hijacked. Every life lost was precious. The bottom line is the decaying effect of bad leadership. The tragedies were all avoidable but lives lost are irreplaceable. There is no guarantee in my view that dismembering the country will be the solution. Our elites are United in misgovernance and corruption. But you cannot honestly deny the rate of igbophobia in Nigeria. Remember Danladi Umar's 'biafran boys' tag. Remember also that the DSS have been raising alarms using tags such as 'unscrupulous elements, agents of destabilization' etc. to describe terrorists and other criminals that are planning one sinister move or the other, but few days ago, they were categorical that IPOB planned to bomb the Abuja stadium. IPOB was quickly proscribed but it took a lot of pressures from Civil Societies to get the bandits proscribed. This was after failed attempts at amnesty. An offer that was never given to IPOB. All wrongdoings should be condemned and treated EQUALLY. Until there is no 97% and 5%, those of us who believe in a truly United Nigeria are delusional because some people are acting otherwise |
Contekbbc:One love. God bless you |
richie240:Let everyone mourn their losses. When the south was protesting against police brutality through the END SARS protest, the North backed out and even said that SARS is not their problem. That we emphasize on our loss does not negate the fact that other people died or that they are not important. If the solidarity you are looking for now we didn't get it during the END SARS campaign, then you need to check the meaning of the word HYPOCRISY |
Contekbbc:I just realized that some level of foolish is indeed inborn. Love you too. Peace |
Contekbbc:How come you didn't read my disclaimer that I am not a member of your family of thuggery and STUPIDITY. I am certainly not your comrade. A lover of stupidity who 'stays glued to it' is stupid. Nairaland is truly accommodating. It has enough space for the wise and for the foolish, humans and animals. |
Contekbbc:I wish you all that you prayed for. If I beat you, it is your duty to cry individually irrespective of how many other people were beaten with you. Most of you Nigerians cheapened the sanctity of human lives that's why we no longer talk about the killings in zamfara and many other parts of the country. One life is too precious to loose. If we cry about one, does it negate the fact that other people died? Or does the fact that other people died reduce the fact that what happened is an AVOIDABLE DISASTER?? I wouldn't expect a dumbass like you to answer the questions objectively. Let everyone weep for their dead. If you cared less about your folks and dismiss tragedies that happen to them, don't expect others to do the same. Tell me, what was your views and participation during the end SARS protest? Many of your family members (thugs) were sent to disrupt the protest because victims of police brutality does not matter to you. If you are half as reasonable as I thought, you would have read through my earlier assertion to see that such level of reasoning is beyond the level of that of a thug. On a lighter note, it takes a thug to know one, but NEWSFLASH, I am not a member of your FAMILY. |
Reflect7:What percentage of Igbos are IPOB?? What percentage supports Nnamdi Kanu?? If you have ever read stories about the Nigerian army ransacking a village in the east, killing and destroying the properties of innocent villagers in the name of looking for the hideouts of unknown gunmen and kept quiet, then you are the PRESIDENT GENERAL of BIGOTS. Let the other tribes in the train cry for their citizens. All lives matter but since Nigeria under buhari has shown Igbos that our lives doesn't matter, we decided to place value on the life of the Igbo ourselves. If others hate you, the worst thing to do is to hate yourself also. As a footnote, hope you saw the DSS memo accusing IPOB of trying to bomb the Abuja stadium yesterday? I leave you to your conscience |
aribisala0:You should know sarcasm when you see one |
Stanbest7728:Then adopt my formula. I finished from a university in the South West and after my youth service, went for my masters at UNIZIK. That was how I started. They didn't know me from Adam but through my participation in class and other stuffs, I became the defacto course rep in my second semester. Every of my colleague that graduated with me had my inputs in their thesis one way or the other - not kidding. I processed my own results and sent it myself to the postgraduate school after my final defense. I chose my external examiner and have been doing same for most of my clients to get them good grades. I offered more than academic excellence. I was on the streets, and I played the game well - clean or dirty. Note that I ran into trouble one time and a panel was set up to investigate me. When I was called, I told the panel that I am only a victim of circumstances. One of the panelists looked at me and said, 'no matter what anybody says about you, they cannot say that you are not an intelligent fellow. But tone down on your bad sides to make it easier for us to help you.' The panel ended with me promising to be of good behavior. What was the secret I had been of help to EVERY member of the panel. Some I had written articles and added their names. Some I had helped to package and format their creative outputs for assessment to the rank of Readers or Professors. Others are still seeking my services. Immediately after the director of academic planning that chaired the panel left, I and two of the panel members reviewed one of the papers I had written and added their names for publication. I ended up adding two more panel members to the paper making it five of us. When you spread your tentacles wide enough, you will survive. But it takes a while. Though I will say that the first year 2014 was rough, but I became a boss from 2015 and started building a Mafia empire afterwards. I have my boys whom I groomed from final year now starting their PhDs and are doing well. |
Stanbest7728:Which school did you finish from? If it is UNIZIK, I can help you. If not, begin to establish contact with any of your lecturers that you can work with. You don't have to tell them of your intentions expressly, just build relationships. I started by following professors around. That alone makes some people to see you as a brilliant student. Your first clientele will now be those under his or her supervision. The lecturer in question doesn't have to know and you need to be smart about it. From there, you begin to enter other lecturers and working for students under their supervision. Other school runs like helping students with clearance, etc can also fetch you money. Attend project defense and ensure to be visible - either by offering to take the minutes of the event or operating the PowerPoint presentation for them. All of these helps to build confidence in your clients that you are on ground. These secrets are tested and trusted. Since 2015, I have never gone broke even though I am outside of formal employment until January this year. It takes some sacrifices on your part too. 1: you will run errands for lecturers 2: invigilate exams or even attend lectures with them 3: you will spend on them by buying them little things on their birthdays etc. With time, they will even refer students to you. That's for those that are coded. I even did other runs with marking of scripts banking on my relationship with the lecturer involved. Note: YOU MUST BE SMART ABOUT IT. I have since stopped that script and exam runs though, but they were part of my early survival strategies. At some point in one's life, you must begin to set standards. Now I don't do school errands anymore, I don't do exam runs and I don't do assignment and projects for undergraduates. |
Stanbest7728:If you are intelligent, go back to the school where you graduated from, reestablish yourself and begin to write projects and assignments for students. I survived for seven years through it, bought a car and trained myself through Msc and PhD, supported my family and relatives and friends. I also raised other writers that I now refer jobs to. Currently, I have stopped writing for undergraduates and if the job is not up to 100k and above, I refer it to my boys. Now I am also gainfully employed but I still dey the game as a side hustle. |
A woman is like a FACE MASK, you cannot share her with anybody else you get infected. A man is like a HAND SANITISER, EVERYBODY CAN USE IT. You get the point now........ |
What about Justice Walter Onoghen ![]() |
Is Reno now agreeing with the Muslims that the Bible was corrupted?? |
siofra:But you will gleefully snoop into his phones and other devices in search of god knows what. Are you not indirectly calling him a cheat?? |
Regime of technicalities. Technical defeat of Boko Haram, technically corrupt and technically lying regime |
Campaign rallies are held simultaneously across the country and are never hijacked. Politicians gather crowd for various purposes and nobody hijacks anything. But once the citizens want to rise up and speak with one voice without the politicians being involved, they will send the security agencies to issue same lame warnings and threats of hijack. |
SlyDev:I am Igbo and I can tell you for free that the owomida boys are even more deadly in Igbo land. You can take that to the bank. |
When a druglord gives birth to a cultist. No surprises on one of the names. |
Go to Enugu agidi in Awka and ask for prophet nkwume of Arise and Shine prophetic ministry. The guy like difficult cases. |
Mine was July first this year. My elder sister had surgery 2 weeks earlier and insisted on coming to my house to recuperate. After much hesitation on my part, I accepted and brought her home straight from the hospital. We got to my house 5pm, she died six hours later. I cannot begin to tell you guys the battles we fought to save her life but long story short, she died in my arms and in my house. I carried her with my own hands, loaded her into an ambulance and took her to a mortuary close to my village in another state before branching home to break the news to my parents. Prior to that time, I have never touched a dead body or sat in an ambulance with one, neither have I spent a night with a dead body. Everything happened to me at once. |
stanluiz:He should stick to that be consistent. I never doubted him then but he shouldn't now shift the goal post just to favour him. Where the president of Nigeria will come from HAS ALWAYS MATTERED. THAT'S THE POINT HERE AND FOR ATIKU TO SAY OTHERWISE, THEN HE IS A MOTHER FVCKING HYPOCRITE |
Atiku is a bloody hypocrite. When he was battling with Jonathan in 2011, he flew the ethnic kite, telling the PDP at it's national convention that those who make peaceful change impossible, makes violent change inevitable. According to his argument then, the country in 2007, understood the need for a president of northern extraction and all the major political parties fielded northerners - PDP, Yar'adua; ACN; Atiku, ANPP, Buhari. He claimed then that the north is yet to get it's full eight years like the south did under Obasanjo, thus asking to be allowed to complete the tenure FOR THE NORTH and pledging not to do a second term. Now it's the turn of the south and all of a sudden, where the president comes from no longer matter. Atiku, you are a ............ |
german01:Why did you say that? |
