When the guy Mark (not his real name) arrived from America, he noticed from the airport that the Lingua Franca for communicating was French. Everyone was busy chattering away with their partners or going about their businesses with earphones. To begin, he found them unwelcoming, perhaps he wanted English to be the dominant language in a french country.

In the discourse I read, he complained about everything, the food, which he only managed to eat because he did not want to starve to death maybe, the cab drivers, and the sites he visited. In Summary, he could not wait to return to America.

For Leah (not her real name), There was no better place to have a vacation than France. Before she embarked on her trip, she carried out some research, on nice places to visit in Paris. She checked out what the food and weather would be like at the time of her visit and made adequate preparations. She even got a translation dictionary and had google translate continue here....https://www.marketgists.com/vacation-in-paris

Education / Skipping Classes In Primary And Secondary School by Marketgists(f): 5:30am On May 06, 2022
In Nigeria, skipping classes is now the order of the day. Every parent claims their children are the genius and smartest and too intelligent to do all classes

Children in the UK finish secondary at 16/17. Children in the US and Canada finish secondary school at 17/18... a few of them 19.

The British children would still go ahead and graduate by 21/22. The Americans and Canadians will still go ahead and graduate on 22/23/24. Or a few years more for courses of more than 5 years.

In Nigeria, skipping classes is now the order of the day. Every parent claims their children are the genius and smartest and too intelligent to do all classes.

For the life of me; I don't understand what a child who is less than 16 is doing in a University or any tertiary institution for that matter. Where the hell are you rushing these children too?

And no! Those who skip classes are most often NOT among the most intelligent. In my primary school, I can remember that the best five students in our class did NOT skip any class. I know the top students in my primary school and we know that most of us did all our classes. Most of my primary school classmates who skipped classes were the class average students. So, stop deluding yourself that skipping a class is a sign of intelligence... NOT in Nigeria.

In primary school, I found some of my subjects boring because I thought I was far ahead. My parents were primary and post-primary education specialists/professionals. My father was also a professional in child developmental psychology and education guidance and counseling. When it comes to planning children's education and career, my parents were the professionals you could consult.

They told me that I was not going to skip any class. As a child, I was angry at my par..

Webmasters / Twitter Acquistion By Elon Musk by Marketgists(f): 6:43pm On Apr 30, 2022
Is acquiring Twitter going to be beneficial? Is the deal worth a 9-10 years of return on investment?

While I was working on a major merger and acquisition project in 2017. I have prepared a point of view, "successful transition in 100 days".

The point of view was to highlight the pitfalls in major mergers and acquisitions and the Post-merger integrations and the change management in the culture and leadership.

The acquisition announcement of Twitter by elonmusk brings me back to the memory of the same.

Not all announcements are successful acquisitions.

There needs to be a proper synergy and a perfect strategy for the return on investment that makes a deal profitable however the game only starts after the change is managed.

No doubt acquiring Twitter might work strategically for Mr. Elon bringing him close to the world political bigwigs who are dependent on their Twitter followers and agenda for their political mileage and that would create more roads for Tesla to penetrate the markets that have once denied his proposals. But this road has its risks on the Changes concerning the governments.

I foresee some not-so-encouraging news for either Twitter or tesla with this acquisition, however, the shareholders will have the last laugh to be able to sell the white elephant that was not generating great revenues for a while and facing legal issues with read more ..https://www.marketgists.com/twitter-acquistion-by-elon-musk

Education / Component Of Nigeria Educational System by Marketgists(f): 6:32pm On Apr 30, 2022
Having passed through all the basic stages of Education including completing a University degree, several questions kept popping into my mind, which includes what the missing component in our education is.

Our education system as we know it only provides for you to produce almost if not the exact content that was taught in the classroom during tests and exams.

Our education system as we know it allows teachers to teach you a particular concept in class, for example, the definition of matter, and as an assignment you will still be asked to define matter, leaving students to copy verbatim the same definition from the note in class.

What if we change strategies in our approach to teaching and learning? The method above might have been the best in the early '90s when most jobs are routinely based and don't require higher-order thinking skills, creativity, or collaboration.

Last week, I had the opportunity to facilitate a seminar on Technology Inclusion in the classroom. In the seminar I spoke emphasized that if learners don't learn from the way we continue reading here https://www.marketgists.com/component-of-nigeria-educational-system

Romance / Three Major Reasons Why Men Cheat by Marketgists(f): 6:26pm On Apr 28, 2022
1. Indiscipline

2. Emotional Entanglement most times from Pity for a Vulnerable woman.

3. Curiosity and weird imaginations

Let me explain in detail...

Indiscipline because most of us men were raised by fathers who believed that it's a man's world and men can get away with sexual indiscipline. We are somehow products of patriarchy. That's why men raised by exposed women better behave with the opposite sex than most of us raised by traditional men.

The second most popular reason why most GOOD men cheat is very tricky... Men are wired to protect, provide and lead. If a man gets close to a Vulnerable woman, he could be tempted to provide for her, protect her and lead her. This leads to an emotional Entanglement which usually grows into an affair. Most GOOD men end up in emotional Entanglements while trying to help.
This is why I said it is very tricky...
Most honest and responsible men who got into an affair can agree that they weren't trying to cure their high libido. No. They thought they were strong enough to resist temptations but they didn't know the magnetic power of a woman in tears. It goes from wiping her tears to wiping 'other things.'

And lastly, curiosity and weird imaginations... Men are curious beings. Men are also imaginative. The imaginations of a man can either take him to the bedroom or take him to the boardroom. It is out of curiosity and imagination that a man would pay for a first-class flight ticket to import a Brazilian girl from Brazil to have ....read more https://www.marketgists.com/three-major-reasons-why-men-cheat
