I dont use finished feed such as vital or top feed. I formulate what I give them and its working for me. The batch I have now hit 0.5kg today at two weeks.

Its good having an office as a farmer bt at ur stage and level it's like wipping ur asss before pooing or an abortionn b4 pregnancy. Get a farm house first, stock it, manage it from there and the office can come later as u improve. Though it all depends on ur capital.

As per marketing, I don't know how ur area is bt my area here in Enugu is well under serviced. I breed 100 set of broilers every 50 days weighing 1.7 - 1.9 kg and the market is always ready. I supply to big restaurants and meat shops. The sales is by weight. I sell 1kg for N680, the head and leg for N50 and the gizzards for N800/kg.

At divine mercy, if u are making 0.3kg at 4weeks its a mess. I make 0.6kg in 17 days. I formulate my rations and its wonderful. Any who needs can reach me for directives, its free. Lets reason together and grow.

Good day to u all, wondful people of NL. I'm always over whelmed by the way and manner u guys treat issues here especially wen it comes to providing advice. Here again, a friend needs ur advice to help him make a sound life decision. He graduated since 2007 and has been searching for good job. Some how he managed to acquire a vehicle and determined to make some savings from it in transport business. In 5months he was able to save close to 500k and had plan to go back to bakery business he was into when he left school newly. He intend to start with tasty chinchin production and gradually move into bread production. He was doing wel in bakery biz jst that he left it for a job that was paying him 30k. Bt on d other hand, a close relation of his adviced him to learn motor spare parts biz and travell to Dubai for hustling. According to him, he said there are jobs there and wit the knowledge of motor parts, he can easily send things home when he make some money bla bla bla... Now i want to ask u, if u ar in dis guys shoes bearing in mind that u would be making btwn 80-100k monthly in bakery, 30yrs this year and intend to marry in 3yrs, and he is an orphan, would u invest ur life savings here in 9ja for some trickling income or try ur luck in d big city where u may hit it big. Ur advice is needed and Pls those of us in Dubai should pls help in telling how it is in dubai. Thank you.

As if we did not attend these institutions were the toilet facilities are nothing less than disease breeding centers, no recreational facilities and faulty electric systems. In ABSU alone, in a space of 3 years 5 hostels had caught fire because of faulty electrical systems. Students face severe water scarcity in ANSU school hostels, EBSU hostels are as insecure as de gea in the goal mouth etc.
Its not logical to assume that these students moved out because of the uniZik status cos the university is not a secondary school where you face restrictions as regards to your 'flexing'. ........... get the faq out!!!

Students of Anambra state university (igbariam campus) today almost set the school in a violent demonstration over d state government negligence on their enviromental security and utilities. Today's riot was based on d alledged killing of two student by unknown gunmen during d early hours of today. The students who blocked d enugu-onitsha express way, making it difficult for road users (including me )to pass insisted that Mr. Obi who is d governor of d state must come and address them. excelsiorfarm: there are at least three major poultry i.e. layers,cockerel & broilers,they all need need different feed,i dont sell formula or even give any in my manuals,reason is except u are into large farm,it might not be wise.if u self formulate,if not properly dried,case of aflatoxin is high & deadly to poultry

Hello nairalanders pls i need ur advice. I work in a company wia i earn 35k monthly and it barely takes me home. Of late started having this desire to go into poultry and/or piggery farming. I was into poultry farming when i was in higher institutution at oko poly so i knw things about it. As i am writing this, i have 200k cash, a micro van that carries 7 passengers and capable of making atleast 2k daily, one and half plots of land that belongs to me and about 2000 pcs of 6" solid blocks. Now i am 30 years old and i will like to get married in two years time. Please, good people of nairaland, if u have a brother in my shoe what wil be ur advice? Mind u, i am an orphan, have HND cert, and last in my family. Pls ur sincere advice and contribution will be appreciated. Thank u!
