You know the people that really have strong believe in God are those that have faced something greater than them and overcome, people that understand that it couldn't have been them, there must have been a supernatural power at work. You cant be more knowledgeable than the first set of people they preached Christianity to, and the generations that follows over the time, one thing that makes life livable for all of us is the fear of God, take it from the human race then you might as well be dead by now.

Another thing that keeps us in check is the second coming of Christ, (the mythology) or maybe true story of rapture and end time, if a human doesn't have fear of such ending things would have been very bad for us all by now, so as an atheist. Its okay not to believe in any religion but for them that believe dont take it away from them. If the love your neighbor as yourself thing got to the whole world, it will be a better place in no time, psychologically I think religion is a good thing.

Just like people thank god after a doctor performs a successful operation on them, they thank god when they overcome problems by their own strength. What about those who are not lucky as they are? Religion is actually not a good thing. It has drawn us back as a specie. Religion has to go. Humans can achieve order even without religion all they need is a good government and strict rules that are always enforced.

'literally nothing' is the same as 'nothing' except one wants to use 'nothing' in another context that is obviously not English. Something that has always existed from the very beginning evolved out of nothing since it's existence has always been a given. That is different from nothing existing at first then coming of nothing to exist. Hope you get.

You might say he didn't read but as an all powerful being, I could have planted the knowledge in his head or better still prepare him ahead of time. You might say the scripts got misplaced by the handlers hence not God's fault but as an all powerful being, I could have caused the scripts to disappear and appear with other script or prevent it from missing in the first place. You might say it is corruption on the system but would you say the system is powerful than yahweh? Hmmmm seems I would do better than Yahweh if I was all powerful and Dannyfan prayed to me. Surely there is no excuse for an all powerful God.

My bad, I didn't read further. Nevertheless, it's still held by scientists that the universe has always been in existed. Given that the universe has always existed ie. It wasn't created but has always been existing then you can say it evolve out of nothing since something that has always existed could not have evolved. Hope you get Dawkins concept.

To say that the universe was never existing in the beginning and at a particular point in time it stated existing out of nothing is erroneous.
