I am most impress with you interest in this but by using sentences, dance patterns and the above has no bearing in concluding that this group aren't of same ancestry
The English we speak and which is the official language in England varies from region to region
What is spoken in London, Manchester, Newcastle has it own accent, dialect and pronunciation, there are three distinct English which are southern, Midland and northern but these are all English
Even the dance pattern, food and music has it regional enclaves. Down here the Hausa spoken in sokoto, kano and Adamawa can be easily distinguished by Hausa's speakers yet same Hausa
The youruba spoken in badagry won't be understood by an Ikeja brought up Yoruba and the Yoruba spoken in ondo, okitipupa, shaki I bet u can't be understood by this individual if you don't speak the central youruba
Coming down home there is nothing different from what is spoken in Uruan, ITU that won't be comprehended in the entire calabar. The differences in Ibibio, efik and anang is just like southern, midland and northern England which are domicile in those regions. The accent, dialect and pronunciation doesn't make any of them different
What brought about this was the arrival of the Europeans and fortunately for any chief back then especially those from the riverine area, they ceased the opportunity and promoted themselves and their territory
While the obong who I will tell you can be traced to Uruan ancestry cannot be any further higher than the chiefs then in Uruan gained favors from the Europeans and consolidated his dominance, that can't be said of the other chiefs.
You can't tell me the Efiks own calabar, the Quas and Efuts have the core inner land while the Efiks dominate the riverine areas
Now the ibibios are using the oil wealth as Europeans to gain dominance. Forget the Ghana fables of anang being from Ghana or any group claiming to be above the other
Ibibio,(ekid, ibeno)efik Anang oron and ekoi( ejahgham) are of the same stock and origin .

Well done! Very apt and detailed.
Romance / Re: Being Gay Shouldn't Be A Crime In Nigeria by martjay(m): 4:01am On Feb 16, 2020
People have taken this homosexuality to another level. Does it mean that once white men lost their sanity and we Africans should emulate? Even animals can distinguish between male and female of its kind while mating. Sixty years ago it was abomination to mention homosexuality in public, look at what satan and its cohorts have turned the world into? Please the redeemed of the lord should be on alert this time. Because the coming of our lord Jesus Christ is near. May God bless Vladimir Putin and others for not allowing evil contamination to creep into their country. How can someone think of having s*x with his/her kind unless the person is possessed by the evil spirits. What they need is deliverance not acceptable. No need to quote me because I won't reply.

Politics / Re: Lagos State Says It Did Not License Anybody To Operate Commercial Motorcycles by martjay(m): 8:03am On Feb 01, 2020
Some of our leaders are so insensitive to the plight of the masses. Why not give a prior notice of two to three years? By then these people would be able to save money, and change the line of business or relocate to another place. They just woke up, and ban the source of livelihood of many people with families to cater for without providing a palliative care for them. The Bible says," do unto others as you expect them to do unto you "( Matthew 7:12). They treat their fellow citizens like animals and expect Nigeria to be united. If they are the one affected, would they be happy? I thank God for not being man, else the criteria to be alive would be so stringent, in fact, many people would not be alive.

You are absolutely right, United States of America, the last world super power. Those that hate USA are the Arabs and people who embrace the religion of the arabs and some mischievous elements in the world. With America has the world super power, they will never force their religion on anybody through sword. Some arab countries may be allies to America, but if they have their way, won't hesitate to destroy America.

They may be nice with visitors and peoples that doesn't know them. When you have close relationship with them, then you'll have a proper definition of hypocrisy. (1) If you are not their member, no matter how diligent and hardworking you are, your efforts are futile, if you are working in an establishment owned by one of them. (2) it is only their organization that is right religiously, other churches or denominations are evil worshippers or idolaters. (3) if you like be as intelligence as Albert Einstein, if you are not their member, you are a dullard. (4) stigmatization to non members are glaring, for instance, they can never listen to gospel music, but preferred secular music with dirty lyrics and would never listen to any sermon apart from their teachings. (5) they don't believe that Jesus is God, instead regarded Jesus as one the angels and was created by God. (6) in their Bible, John 1:1, they changed God to god which is Jesus. (7) they believed that there is no hell fire where sinners shall be punished and could not explain the story of Lazarus and a rich man in Luke 16:20-24 and motive of that story. (cool you can never differentiate between their female members and so the called worldly ladies in terms of dressing and attitudes. Etc

You seem to be putting a lot of pressure on this young kid!! Just relax!

As he grows, he'll learn all these automatically!!

Or are you one of those parent that want their kid to be like other kids or compare them with other kids!! Just chill, and stop teaching your boy things the hard way, Infact I was once like him before!!

Just take a chill pill and take thing easy on this little boy!! Everything will change as he grows up!!

Madam that boy is a star. He is good with sports and academic, he needs love and encouragement. Don't beat often, you can use other forms of punishment, like depriving him of what he loves most. Importantly, pray earnestly for him.

I'm 28years old, my parents died when i was 14years old. I dropped out of school because no one could afford to pay my fees.

I met a guy when i was 17years old and he sent me back to school. He sold fruits on the streets so he could pay my school fees.

He later got a job as a truck driver and sent me to university.
I am now working as a lawyer. My problem is that i feel i can't continue with this relationship cos this guy is not the type of a man i would like to marry!!.

How best can i tell him that he is not my type without hurting his feelings?

I'm grateful he sent me to school but i can't be in a relationship with him anymore!. I want someone in my own class not an ordinary truck driver
!

The man suffered and trained you in school then you talk about class. Even God will be angry with you. When he was suffering training you, why didn't you remind him that you are not in the same class with him?

Family / Re: I Cheated On My Husband With A Guy From Work And I Don't Know What To Do. by martjay(m): 10:16am On May 01, 2019
Since you have acknowledged your wrong doing which is sin, pray for God's forgiveness and confess to your husband. Before doing this, you have determined that you won't involve in such acts any longer. Do you know that if Jesus Christ should now that you are going to hell? That is why it's important to confess to you husband and dissociates from your colleague. Marriage is for life, once you're in, it's only death that end it. Even if you divorce, the bible says you should remain unmarried as far as your spouse is alive. One has to matured spiritually and psychologically before committing to marriage to avoid this kind story. Some people neglected prayer before marriage, which is the most important of all, when you pray, God that instituted it would take control, and prayer should continue after marriage to avoid distraction such as this.

Udom is the right man for the position. This is what democracy is all about, creating projects that would be beneficial to the masses and also getting revenue for the government. How I wish our leaders are mindful of the electorates that voted them into power, this country would have been one of best countries in the world. God bless Udom Emmanuel! God bless Akwa Ibom state!! God bless Nigeria!!!

Your excellency, these projects you called monuments, are they economically viable to Akwa Ibom state? When completed, would they generate revenue to the state? The money used in building these projects or monuments as you claimed, was it financed from the former governor's pocket? If these projects are going to create employment and generate revenue to the state, why not go ahead and complete them? After all government is continuum.

Someone said if ladies should try it, that they'd be treated as trash. The question is, why the lady that shared this was not treated as trash? There's nothing wrong in expressing how you feel to someone you love. Although it depends on the maturity of the guy, but still you have to show green light. Some guys are shy.

It's a welcome development, kudos to minister of power. Although this is long overdue, why haven't they taken this measures since? Now there is no excuse of not having constant power supply. I trust Nigerian businessmen, they will key into cool.
