If this was done in secret, I am sure Nigeria would have rigged the race result.

By now we will read " group heads to court over race result".

" Dont rejoice yet, group tells race winner" .

" Court strikes out opposition race application".

" Supreme court orders re-run of the race in 30 days".

" Race winner cries, My life is in danger".

" Group protest in Abuja over race result".

" Group drums support for race winner".

" Re-run or die, Nigerian prophet warns race winner".

" 10 dead and many injured,as race winner group and opposition groups clash in Abuja"
Lol. Your head day there cool cool

CultureNnamdi Kanu Sacked As IPOB Leader, Director Of Radio Biafra by marvizzy(op): 4:25pm On Nov 13, 2017
The international media arm of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Radio Biafra, has resumed operations.

But instead of the fiery rhetoric with which it was associated with, the radio announced the sack of Nnamdi Kanu, as director and leader of IPOB.

The Radio Biafra’s programme started between 6am -7am on Sunday with the lady announcer, who gave her name as Ifeoma Okorafor, stating that the radio was restructuring.

Then the shocking announcement that “Mazi Nnamdi Nwanekaenyi Kanu, the former Director of Radio Biafra is hereby dismissed and removed as Director of Radio Biafra following extensive and intensive consultations”

According to Okorafor, one “Mazi Ezenwachukwu Sampson Okwudili is Kanu’s replacement.”

She reeled out reasons why Kanu was removed to include: “Personalisation of the Biafran struggle and derailing from the core objectives of IPOB as a grassroots movement.

“Kanu’s actions and his decisions to incite members of IPOB towards violence leading to the death of many innocent young people in Onitsha, Aba and Umuahia is totally unacceptable and grossly irresponsible.

“Kanu privately collected £14 million and another $22 million to purchase landed properties abroad in his name and that of his father, Igwe Israel Kanu, in a clear case of ‘monkey dey work baboon dey chop’.

“Kanu turned our collective struggle into a money-making enterprise for himself and his father. Thus the monies contributed by enterprising and hard-working Igbo youths across the world are being collected and converted by one man and his father while pretending to be sacrificing for the cause.

“Upon his release from detention in April 2017, one expected Kanu to drum up support for the release of his colleagues and co-detainees such as Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi. These are our brothers who were arrested at the same time with him and they should not be forgotten. We hereby demand their release. Kanu, since his release, has never spoken about them or appealed for the release of these our freedom fighters. Instead, he has been going about collecting chieftaincy titles and having a messianic swagger that even allowed full-blooded Igbo men to kneel down and kiss his feet.

“Kanu threw away the original meaning of our collective struggle for personal gain and vain glorification. IPOB believes in democracy as a solid base of any modern state, the rule of law, and will always reject violence in all its ramifications.”

Daily Independent Newspaper reports that there was a mixture of excitement and confusion within Nigeria security circles as a result of this new development in IPOB as security agencies do not know what to make of this.

The sack of Kanu is only the latest change in the checkered history of Radio Biafra, which began as the mouthpiece of MASSOB.

CrimeIPOB Defies Nigerian Govt; Members Protest In Onitsha, Vow To Foil Anambra Elect by marvizzy(op): 8:27pm On Nov 12, 2017
IPOB members demonstrate in Onitsha. [Photo credit: NAN]
Despite being labelled a terrorist organisation by the federal government, members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, staged a demonstration in Onitsha, the Anambra State capital, threatening voters not to participate in the November 18 governorship election in the state.

The federal government had in September secured a court order to label the secessionist group a terrorist organisation, a move that has been criticised and opposed by some local and international organisations.

The IPOB spokesperson said their demonstration was intended to notify the federal government that the group is alive.

“If you vote you will die. Don’t go out, stay in your house. If you vote on November 18, you will die. We are not running around for the zoo,” the members sang as they marched around the commercial town, abutting the River Niger on Friday.

“There will be no election. We will not participate, we will not vote. Nothing concerns us with any election. We are formidable.

“We are in Onitsha to tell the Federal Government to produce Kanu. They should release all the Biafrans in Nigerian prisons.”

The whereabouts of Mr. Kanu, who is facing treason charges, has not been identified since IPOB members clashed with soldiers in Abia State in September. Dozens of IPOB members have since been arrested and are being prosecuted by the police.

Videos of Saturday’s protest have since gone viral on the social media.

Emma Powerful, IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, told journalists the group will not be deterred from achieving a Biafra Republic.

“Today in Onitsha, we broke the python Buratai, Ohanaeze, Obiano and Igbo governors brought to our land,” Mr. Powerful basted, making reference to the now concluded Operation Python dance of the Nigerian Army.

“Anybody doubting the resolve of IPOB under the supreme command of Nnamdi Kanu is mistaken.

“We will put Anambra State on lockdown on November 18. This is a taste of what is to come. Nigeria should be prepared.”

Nkeiruka Nwode, Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, said the IPOB march has no effect, insisting that the state police command had concluded arrangements for effective policing of the state during the election.

She asked residents of the state to go out en masse to exercise their franchise on the day of the election.

Also, Jimoh Moshood, the Force spokesperson, warned the IPOB members not to interfere with the election process in their own interest, adding that the police would deal with them “the way an outlawed group should be dealt with”.

“They (IPOB) should steer clear of Anambra because we have deployed enough personnel in the state; any miscreant who misbehaves would have himself to blame as he would be dealt with. IPOB should not test our will or resolve,” Mr. Moshood warned.

Speaking in like manner, Sagir Musa, spokesperson for the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, which covers the South-east region, said troops have been placed on alert to tackle any breakdown of law and order during the election.

“The troops are always on ground to prevent any breakdown of law and order during the election. As you know, the police are the first line of security and we cannot usurp their role,” Mr. Musa said.

“We have mastered the areas and we are familiar with the hideouts of the troublemakers.”

SPORTArgentina vs Nigeria: Messi speaks ahead of clashPublished on November 12, 2017 By John Owen Nwachukwu

Captain of Argentina national team, Lionel Messi has confirmed he will play no part in Tuesday’s friendly against Nigeria in Krasnodar, Russia.

The Barcelona superstar was in action for Argentina in their Saturday’s 1-0 win over 2018 World Cup hosts Russia in Moscow, but will return to his base in Barcelona, Spain ahead of his club’s game next weekend against Leganes.

Messi told Argentina Football Association twitter handle, “We want to reach the World Cup in the best way.

“Sampaoli regulated me a little bit and that I won’t play in the game against Nigeria.”

Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli was pleased with his side’s dominance over Russia in the friendly game on Saturday.

He said, “The team dominated Rusia at home and we have to continue moving forward collectively ahead of what’s coming. We have to continue on this path.

“Messi and Aguero has so much understanding during the game which was good.”
