Why won't they choose Angola over Nigeria! Nigerian future is highly unpredictable. There is a serious geopolitical tension rocking Nigeria from all sides. The west sees Nigeria fit for only military outposts not for economic investments |
ONEjoblessGUY:Gabon has natural resources like uranium, natural gas, diamond etc. that France and west needed so much. Moreover, this coup is a direct stepping ground to liberate Cameron from French's grip. Remember it started from CAR to mali, Burkina, guinea and so on. Paul biya must be wetting his pants now, |

All I can deduce from these arguments is that Igbo's,ijaws, efik, and ikwerre's are the same people. Had it been history is taught in our schools we wouldn't be this confused about our identity. Had it been we have a functional government, molecular genealogy studies ought to have been conducted from random populations to determine our genetic dispositions and that would end all these arguments. All these tribes and clans share common ancestral heritage, just that colonial exploitation disorientates everything about us. For example, there's okirika in mbaise IMO state and there's equally okirika in rivers state. Many people claim to be Israelites, but, genetic studies says otherwise. That's how the present state of Israel has managed to overcome many identity problems. The Igbo's and ijaws shares the same value system and I believe genetic studies on both will put all these arguments to rest. |
This may sound good, but don't forget it's just an executive pronouncement yet, let the legislature investigate it's merit and demerit first, then pass their judgement before it can become a law that should be enforced, that's how civilized society works. |
This has been Nigeria's problem, extorting the progressive south to pamper the retrogressive north. The over centralization of power on the fg has weakened the states. In other words Nigeria is practicing unitary system of government. That's why every governor runs to abuja for money. Let each state collect VAT there's no law against it, that's there right. FIRS is ripping states apart, allow states to develop at their own pace then you'll see a healthy competition that spurs development |
