Politics › Re: Saudi Arabia Just Insulted Us Nigerians! by maslong(m): 4:13pm On Feb 24, 2016 |
doncent12: I’m not quite sure we understand the indignity that our President is letting himself, and as a result, his office, to be put through.
Just so you will understand the disdain with which the Saudis are taking his visit, he was received on arrival in Riyadh by Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who happens to be the governor of Riyadh.
Imagine, say, Nicolás Maduro, decided to visit Nigeria, and we sent Muhammad Musa Bello to welcome him at the airport? Yes, that’s the implication, a junior member of the Saudi cabinet is who received our President. If you don’t find that to be a calculated insult, then you don’t hold the office of President, Federal Republic of Nigeria to any standard at all.
I’m also ashamed that FIVE of our state governors were at the airport to receive Buhari in Saudi Arabia! FIVE! Since when did these men, Amosun, Aregbesola, Masari, Shettima and Yari, become Saudi citizens or officials? Don’t they know their jobs? Osun has not paid staff since God talked to Moses, yet Rauf won’t attempt to figure out a solution to the problem, instead he is going to Saudi Arabia to do otimkpu for Buhari. What is wrong with us? Why are we cursed like this?
By the way, I lie, the governor of Riyadh is not even a cabinet member. So, his receiving Buhari is actually the equivalent of Rauf receiving Obama at the airport if Obama ever decides to insult himself with a visit here. Shame on us! Nigeria (North) is a beggar. begging is in ab0kis blood. a beggar doesn't have a choice. a beggar deserves any unpleasant treatment he or she receives. |

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said Nigeria will fully redeem its pledge of $100 million for the multinational joint task force. According to Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Buhari said this at a high-level meeting of the African Union peace and security council in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Adesina quoted Buhari as saying the pledge would be redeemede in order to enhance the operations of the task force against the sect. Buhari said having already released $21 million to the task force in June 2015, Nigeria would remit the balance of $79 million very soon. He also assured the council that Boko Haram’s capacity to conduct conventional attacks has been “heavily degraded”. “As at now, there is no single Nigerian territory under the control of the insurgents other than their hideouts in Sambisa Forest,” he said. “Displaced persons are now being resettled in their respective homes. “This feat totally accords with our promise to Nigerians to rid the country of terrorism and extremism within few months of our assumption of office. “Our efforts are already yielding dividends and we will not relent until the terrorist groups are totally decimated and wiped out of our country and sub- region.” Buhari also reaffirmed Nigeria’s readiness to support measures to end the conflicts in Burundi and South Sudan, including the proposed deployment of troops by the AU to Burundi. “Let me reiterate Nigeria’s deep commitment to ensuring durable peace, stability and security on our continent,” he said. “Without peace, there will be no development. It is therefore vital for all of us to join hands in taking appropriate measures to end the conflicts and bring a stop to the incalculable damage being inflicted on innocent citizens in the affected countries.” source: https://www.thecable.ng/buhari-well-redeem-100m-pledge-to-mjtf promised to Nigerian 100% inconclusive. promised to the wold 79% inconclusive. what an inconclusive government of APC. |

Go for the Dasuki's, Madueke's etc and we'll hail you all. Or why turn themselves to agents of population control? Is it a conspiracy from somewhere or what? Cause their actions negate all rational thought. also go after LIE muhammad |
