Fastforward to 2015 $8116.88 IN 1975 has a real value of $35,807.21 that's about 341.1% cumulative inflation rate .

Hence, that N5000 is equivalent to about N7,123,840 now . so if some people could afford N5000 worth of a car then , how many Nigerians can afford a car costing about N7M now . This goes to show that our purchasing power has really being bastardised and labour and economic units are not being fairly remunerated .

In real terms our economy has really gone down the drains

heheh..nice1 OP. i did virtually all. chai...growing up was fun. i miss ma childhood friends, many of whom, r gone. i remember sucking water taps that weren't running to see if water will drop into ma mouth after school. Also playing war zones wit friends in incomplete buildings, drinking much water to see if i'll be pregnant, watching robocup cartoon, Zero Zero, Willie Willie and superman. i will always watch ma elder brothers construct antenna wit aluminium and long bamboo pole and trust me, d local stations dey clear pass DSTV with d big rainbow that normally show first on NTA; d days of colored #1 ice cream, eleganza biro and chi chi sweet. so many things then. i miss those years allah. chai!

Hello fellow Nigerians, Peace be unto u all/Salaimalaikum. Trust u are all doing good. If so, thanks to God/Allahamdrulilahi! My name is Emmanuel. I graduated from the department of Urban and Regional Planning from UNN in 2011 and i proceeded for my Youth Service in Gombe state which i rounded off in 2013. I have done a couple of jobs since then and my recent was a job as an Office Manager in Lagos State in 2014 but long distance and poor remuneration saw to my early resignation last November after 6 months, though I have been hands on to keep myself going in the little legal ways i can. It pains me that at the age of 28, am still staying with my elder brother, his wife and kids. Though they ain't complaining but i feel i am inconveniencing them.
Aside my degree cert, i have professional certification in Project Management(PMP), Proficiency Certificate in Management and also a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. I also did a course on Human Resources Management though the certificate has been kept pending. Just recently, i was given an award of Excellence as one of the 6% Top Nigerian Executives 2015 by a foreign Journal called 'Top Nigerian Executives in the Architecture, Construction and Real Estate Industry'. My computer skills, Management, leadership and excellent interpersonal and good communication skills, among others, have been my strong points.
This is a call on anyone who has a job, vacancy or connection to secure a job for me to please come to my rescue fellow good Nigerians. No matter how bad people can be after helping them, it still doesn't stop us helping out but one thing i will assure us all is that God/Allah in whose name we do it, will surely reward us all.
