I wonder what this 'Igbo attitude' is? Nigeria hasn't been just with the Igbo. That they are angry and pissed off is very much understandable. I've never seen an oppressed person being glad about it.

The Igbo are not seeking preferential treatment. Just give them what's rightfully theirs' and everyone goes home happy.

Politicians have looted funds since time immemorial. It didn't start with Jonathan's govt. Nigeria was always going to crash. It was a matter of when. There's been reports of colossal looting even in the current administration that promised 'change'.

The point is - let there be a equality for everybody.

It is not pride. Some things have been concluded from the foundations of the world. Going against them will mean wasting our time. Each tribe has a role to play at different times in Nigeria's history. And until we set tribalism aside and stop allowing western powers to manipulate us, there shall be no headway.

I wouldn't use the word 'hate' . The Igbo are greatly misunderstood in Nigeria. They've been dealt the short end of the stick for a very long time. Who wouldn't be angry, weary, suspicious, if placed in their shoes? From the civil war till date, its essentially been the same - marginalisation, oppression, deprivation etc. They promised to rebuild the east after the war. Till date no show. Yet, concrete moves have been made to rebuild the north east. Igbos are justified to be angry. Nigeria needs to embrace the Igbo, not treat them as outcasts. And Igbos, on their part, needs to forgive.
