picking up original docs to me means that u dropped ur original docs wit them right? If thats the case they probably carried out some investigation on such docs. After d inquiry, ur visa might ve been issued on friday. Just go there and be positive. Its urs and u will testify IN JESUS NAME. Amen

i read on 1 imigration forum when some1 had a successful interview that he was allowed to change his sponsors address dat day. My bro it is possible to change it on the interview day. Simply inform the co.

This is now the beginning of my experience. Two days later I was called to come for another Interview
and on the day to collect the visa I was called again to come for interview with different date.
I honored the earlier date but was told to come i the later date.
On the Day, They revealed to me that My hubby had a case with SFU Ikoyi which i did not know. The embassy wanted to be sure that I don't know about
it and they also doubted our marriage.
We were referred to SFU so that they can send their findings to the embassy. Later I was called by 10pm by an official from us embassy to speak with my Hubby. Hubby traveled to Ibadan for a family issue which i told him. He immediately called my hubby to confirm his whereabouts.
Then, This week, the embassy called us to come next week again which I don't know what they want or if it will be further interview.
or to collect our visa with is still with them.
Please advise.

they might have finished their investigation. If the case has been concluded then your visas will be issued. But above all, PRAYER IS THE KEY. You will Testify here soon. God be with u and always put ur trust in God.

The computer refused to call my no for interview after almost everybody have been attended to, even those that came after me. I was alone with my thought thinking of so many things that might have gone wrong with serious fear in me. Most of the COs have already through for the day. At around 11:45am one of the CO that was about closing noticed that I have not been attended called me to his window and said, Sir, what are u waiting for? And I said I've not been attended to and he was amazed to hear that, again fear griped me when I saw his facial expression.
He asked me to go back to where I was sitting and he went to meet one black lady. After like 3minutes the lady called me to her window and requested for my passport and my document [original and photocopy]. When she collected it she just shook her head and the I was shivering again. Later she said go to that window[the CO that earlier noticed me on the sit]. And that was how it started.

CO: good morning sir
Me: good morning sir

CO: rais up your right hand and swell that you are going to say the truth
ME: I sworn

CO: is this your form (he showed me the form I sent to kcc with my passport on it) for signing.
Me: I collected it and I signed and return it back to him.

CO: what is your highest edu. Qualification?
ME: Bsc in Biz admin

CO: what courses did you do in your last semester?
ME: I mentioned 4 courses that crossed my mind at that time

CO: tell me your project topic and discuss it with me?
ME: I mention the topic and I discused the abstract of my project topic.

CO: what is your recommendation?
ME: I told him.

CO: what are u doing presently?
ME: am doing my NYSC in a local govt in ondo state.

CO: what department are you and what do they do in your dept.
ME: am in treasury dept and we prepare budget,account and expenditure of the LG.
He asked to stop and the next thing I saw him doing was that he wrote DV ISSUED on my file. And he returned all my original document to me and asked me to wait. He circled one addres in a paper and asked me to go and pick up my visa in 5 working days and lastly he said CONGRATULATION, WELCOME TO AMERICA..

I thank God because I had lost hope being the last person to be interviewed.

Age
Health
Family status
Assets
Resources
Financial status
Education and skills

That is the reason why they said you must have 5 credits at O Level so that u can secure a job or have relevant trade experience that can pay your bill.Read further in link below

just go with enuf naira to the embassy. Even if u get the official exchange rate go in wit excess of between 60k-70k just to be on a safer side.

its not compulsory it consist maths or english cuz its nt stated on their instructions. Its just 5 credits of 6 and above. So far its 5 credit d person is good to go.

they used the word 'more may be selected' not 'will be selected'. Those people are very careful the way they use words. We can only hope for the best come october first.

nifty: hi guys am trying to ask for advice on here,i am a 300l computer science student of a university here in nigeria which means i have 1 more year to have my bachelors but i won the american visa lottery and presently in the us,my plans where to go get my green card then come back to naija to complete my bachelors and then go back to american to compliment it with a masters degree in america nd wld probably be able to get a job here in america,but peeps and student i met here said my naija degree is useless even if i have a masters wiv it that i shld just take a transfer to a university here then continue from there.........and wld have 2 more years to be thru instead of one if i return to naija...............i need some advice

Personally, i dont think the agent has returned your forms to KCC.If he has done so,then he must have written a date of marriage in it and he must have used your old passport photographs in the reply he sent to KCC and these two things are illegal. You passport photograph must be taken atleast within 6months and for him to use the old one,it may result into nullification of the forms he claimed to have sent to KCC. As for the marriage date,though that one can be arranged but i believe the embassy has a way of knowing such.

I know you want to keep your relationship and also get this VISA and i strongly believe you will get it. One major advantage you have now is that you have your CN with you. I would advice you to call KCC and use style to ask them if they have received your forms(that is the one the agent claimed to have sent).If they have done so,then its true that your agent has sent the forms but if they havent received the forms,then i would advice you to wait for like a week and call them again to confirm if they have received it. If they havent received it,then the ball is in your court.
You can then call the B.ullshit of the agent by filling your forms and send to KCC,forget about the address he used to help you apply then. please please,while you are doing this, make sure you play along with the agent.Tell him you have agreed to do the arrangee runs but he should give you a month to convinced your boyfriend to accept the RUNS. while you are buying time,the forms you have filled would have gotten to KCC for further processing. After which the agent will be powerless. please play smart oooo. I will give further advice as time goes on.[/b]

@pgheart pls go along with this advice. Its the smartest decision u can make. After confirming if he hasnt sent d forms, Tell him2give u about 2months to decide. The visa is urs dont be discouraged. Temmy i hail ur thinking.

@adesoji. I ve heard of young people using work experience but the 3 of them were denied because they were not satisfied wit the content of the experience they had or they did nt meet up with the expected experience listed.
I read on visajourney and imigration forum that most americans complain about imigrants coming to us without basic high school.
My advice is that the man should try his luck. He may be considered based on age and experience.

Based on the reply u get, u dont stand any chance. It happened to sum1 2006, he was instantly denied even b4 interview.the sad part is that he just finished paying. Forget it and move ahead.
