Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Masterkraftt: 2:20am On Jun 03, 2017
Quick suggestion to any student flying to Sydney. Instead of buying a one way ticket from Lagos to Sydney, you can buy a Return ticket from Sydney for about the same amount or less in a posh airline like Emirates. When you do so, suspend the 'Sydney to Lagos' ticket and Use 'Lagos to Sydney' for your trip. The suspended ticket will be valid for one year and it cost nothing extra to get it.

Take a look at the picture attached and make your calculations.

This will work best for those who prefer a single-stop, as multiple-stop flights with longer duration will be cheaper.

NB: I am not affiliated with Emirates. This is applicable to Qatar, Etihad, Emirates.

Are you living in the UK and wish to send money to Nigeria? Initial options may be to use Western union or Money gram or better still bank transfer.
These systems work but why should you short change your self (since these institutions will offer you at official rates of N283 to a £1), when you can get a better offer?

CarePlus Consortium will offer you a higher exchange rate than the banks will. Whatever the exchange rate is at the bank on that day, we promise to trample it for you with the best competitive deal. Here is the icing on the cake... You get your money within 1hour in Nigeria guaranteed. No story!

This offer is not limited to UK residents only.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via nairaland email.

Hello guys,

It's a pretty tough job combing through the thread thus I have missed some info. I'd appreciate a quick answer please.

Has anyone successfully used a Teaching Hospital issued birth certificate for visa application? Is it compulsory to restrict it to either NPC or sworn affidavit?

Thanks.

Can someone please reply this? Thanks

I'm afraid Erimmy, in your bid to defend your agency and colleagues, you have unfortunately missed the point. Forget grammar... The NIS guys at the lagos airports are messed up. I have lots of story to tell. People can not independently write horrible stories about an agency except something was truly wrong. What I will advice is you tell your colleagues to stop disgracing themselves and the country, and on the other hand enlighten Nigerians on travel documents and requirements. I bet if you stand firm to turn people back for doing the wrong thing, they may complain but will definitely respect you. Tell me why Nigerians historically dread FRSC?

Hello 'Germanians'

Time to come off ghost mode and kudos to everyone.

To the guys already in Germany, please could you confirm if Deutsch bank allows students make withdrawals above 670€ per month. Reading the terms on the blocked account opening form, seems to suggest a restriction of some sort.
