I laugh at you. Edo has very little to lose compared to the northerners if this turned out to be a battle between the two ethnic groups. No sane northerner living in Edo State will listen to your foolish ranting. They know the huge human and economic cost that they could potentially incur. sad

Muslims are free within their Islamic system to apply sharia for disputing resolution among consenting members. They however don't have right to bring their sharia to bear upon everyone, not even on Muslims who do not consent.

Hishbah loading in Oyo. They will certainly need their own law enforcement body to implement judgments, won't they? Automatically, Muslims will no longer approach civil courts in the state. A new state within a state has just been created. Makinde, history will judge you and your generation forever!

Shariah that did not make the North better is what you have allowed into your state. Shame! sad

Politics › Re: Natasha: Justice Egwuatu hands off case, following Akpabio's petition citing bias by mastermaestro(m): 2:11pm On Mar 25, 2025
RISQUE:
Unwise Akpabio that doesn't know that once Natasha is recalled she will have enough time to bring him down. It's clear that Akpabio committed all the allegations against him but this is Nigeria and he's trying so hard to silence the matter. But the dude should have been smart enough to handle the matter in a diplomatic matter instead of heating up the polity by funding some unwise campaigns against Natasha. Call the woman to a private meeting with her husband and thrash the matter once and for all but Akpabio feels occupying the seat of a Senate President is where the world ends. He should keep funding campaigns till this woman leads to his doom, Natasha is a scorned woman and he should beware of her wrath. That woman fit destroy Akpabio without blinking an eye and she has nothing to lose at the very end.
I still wonder why Akpabio is refusing to engage this woman and her husband in a private diplomacy. Again, it's possible that he attempted to do so, but was rebuffed by Natasha. This, I strongly believe, is the reason for this protracted mess.

Looks like the woman has vowed to pulled him down by all means. Someone should remind her that this isn't Europe. African leaders seldom succumb to sexual blackmail, even if caught pants down. As it stands she will be thrown out of the senate through a dubious recall process. Trust Tinubu and Wike to lend helping hand. The worst Natasha can do afterwards will be to get Akpabio and the current senate principal officers blacklisted in most Western countries.

Hmmm I think some of the things you said is correct about remember that Tinubu is targeting rivers state not only because of 2027, he wants wike not to challenge him one day
At the right time Tinubu will tame Wike, most likely after securing a second term. But right now, Wike must be kept on his team to make sure nothing goes wrong in 2027. The same Wike is helping Tinubu render PDP, which is supposed to be the major opposition, practically useless.

Wike is a dependable political instrument you don't want to lose.
Politics › Re: Justice Emmanuel Agim & Wike At UNICAL Event (Photos) by mastermaestro(m): 5:00pm On Mar 24, 2025
floss:
For Fubara To checkmate Wike is very easy, because wike has played all his cards nothing new is coming out anymore

The only thing Fubara will do now is go privately and see president Tinubu, swear his allegiance to him so that his reelection will be easy and he enjoys federal backing.

This will frustrate wike for another 6 years… because when the person you’re fighting is also backed by your boss, your chances of winning is cutoff.

Fubara being with Tinubu will put more fear in wike politically and become obedient because Fubara has all wikes files that will implicate wike while he was governor, and this will be the biggest file Tinubu will have against wike to make him obedient forever…

Wike only exposed all his cards using court and state Assembly…

Once Fubara makes this move, wike relevance is cut, wike might not return as minister in 2027 because he has nothing to offer Tinubu again.

Tinubu long plan of controlling Rivers politics will now be secured even after leaving office.

Tinubu needs to be studied in Nigerian schools, how he checkmates other politicians by playing their game and beating them in their game.
What kind of kindergarten politics are you suggesting? grin. Let me ask you a question. Will you pick Fubara over Wike if you wanted a serious political ally who can deliver a state? Tinubu assesses capacity, not good character. Good men don't secure votes; capable men do.

Wike is the man to ensure Tinubu gets Rivers and FCT votes by all means in 2027. Fubara that has proven to be spineless, and you expect Tinubu to take him seriously? Did you not notice that Tinubu left the fight open for long to see how capable Fubara was over Rivers political space? But dude just could not prevail. Keeps coming on TV to cry like a baby.

Tinubu finally became emboldened to remove him after coming to a plausible conclusion that this one na mouse. grin He couldn't dare that with a rugged governor. A rugged governor first would have rejected the Supreme Court's judgements. Shut down his state with protests. Rejected Tinubu's declaration of a state of emergency. Ensured that nothing worked in the state until it was lifted. This one just accepts, then appears in church for thanksgiving. Fubara does not deserve to return, walai! Na coward!

His fate of not returning might already have been sealed. And he won't do shit! He has been successfully weighed and found to be empty politically.

No government that is accessory to corrupt practise will come out openly to cast such organization handling the contract, they would rather settle it within an enclosed door.

Public display of sainthood is not new to a Nigerian politician. He was only shocked that the contractor had a darker conscience than he did. sad

DSS1335:
And when this bridge/structure collapse, Government will take the blame for endangering the lives of people. Having caught this contractor, revoke the contractual agreement and involve an independent quality assurance agency to investigate the extent of substandard work done
Revoke which contract? He doesn't have the guts. If you know how government contracts are awarded, this would not surprise you. Party chieftains, directors, commissioners, tribal chiefs, and godfathers all have their share in the disbursed funds.

By the time the contractor goes to work, he might only have about fifty percent of the original amount at his disposal. Dude must make profit. Thus, the people bear the consequences. Don't be deceived, the governor also gets a share from what is announced to have been released. So, dude can't do shit! cheesy

coputa:
He betrayed amaechi,he betrayed good luck Jonathan,he betrayed patience Jonathan.

It seems you are new to Nigeria politics or you are just intentionally mischievous
Let's set the record straight nau. Wike never betrayed Jonathan. In fact during 2015 elections, he was one of the few persons that delivered his state wholly to Jonathan. Go and check the votes Jonathan got from Rivers state. Almost 100 percent. cheesy Wike got furious when Jonathan ceded power cheaply to the opposition. From that moment, he made up his mind not to stand behind a 'coward'. Their relationship deteriorated. Dude moved on from Jonathan.

To Wike, and rightly so, Jonathan practically wasted the immense electoral sacrifices of Rivers state. Read and learn. It was this same reason Wike refused to work for Peter Obi. He saw Tinubu as the man with balls to 'win' the elections. To him, Obi would be bullied and wouldn't be able to defend his votes. Winning Rivers state for LP would have turned out be another squandering of electoral investment.

Most of you don't know Wike's personality. He is that guy that moves in the direction of determined warriors. Wike hates losses. By all means, he will fight to win. This explains why Tinubu is doing everything to keep him on his side. Both of them are an unstoppable match from hell. It will take a divine disruption to stop them in 2027. Opposition parties are playing.

The only truth we know here is that there was a fire incident, at least both the church and the alleged victim of violence agree to this.
The probabilities here:
1. The journalist went there sniffing for news.

2. He took our his phone to record. He didn't learn from what happened at Christ Embassy fire incident in Lagos. Churches don't like being in the news for the wrong reasons.

3. He must have been warned to stop the recording as well as delete whatever he had recorded.

4. He refused to delete them. He began claiming rights.

5. Church boys and girls wey never born again finish plus agbero pastors teach am lessons. grin

6. I have been a church worker for many years in more than one church. Let me give you free info. The worst set of worshippers are among the workers o. I don't have time to narrate my experience during a football competition in one of the churches where I served as a youth leader.

7. The journalist was deceived by the presence of the pastors. He thought he could reason with them. Dey play! Make fight burst for here, na those pastors go give order to baptize you with better mortal combat. sad

8. Next time, mind your business. Such a church has ways to put out the fire. The journalist made a mistake by initiating telephone calls about the fire. He should have allowed the church handle that.

9. For your information, the church premises is a private property. They have the right to criminalize your presence if you come uninvited. Just a piece of advice.

10. The journalist should learn and move on. Nothing he will say or do will ever implicate the church or those who tidied him. That's the most influential church in Rivers, bro. I hope you remember how the pastor got Kemi locked up for months. Avoid having issues with such preachers o. Them dey preach love, but them nor dey show love o. cheesy

Please keep God out of your silly argument. Even human courts, flawed as they are, will not regard a stupid truce between a power drunk Wike and a perceived stooge to divert billions of naira of public funds into private pockets as a valid agreement that can be entertained in court.
Go and enter into stupid agreements with anyone, then watch how GOD lets you suffer for your foolishness. I am advising you for free, but you think you know something. You are probably still a baby. Someday you will grow up and understand.
Politics › Re: Rivers Crisis: Pro-Wike Lawmakers Setting Traps – Jega Reveals Only Obstacle To by mastermaestro(m): 8:58pm On Mar 16, 2025
Sign agreements you can keep. Keep to the agreements that you have signed. Fubara knew what he signed up for with Wike. And I am pretty sure those agreements were not sealed by mere words.

Looking at the way Wike has prevailed so far, you will be naive not to conclude that whatever they signed had unseen forces involved. Agreements are binding. Even GOD will stay out of it when it's time for you to fulfil your part of it. sad

Most of the world believes in a 2 state solution, including SA. Those who believe in 'Israel takes all approach' are the evil ones who believe in domination and violence - the bloodthirsty rednecks in the White House included.
Two-state solution to enable Iran and his boys launch rockets and execute October 7th every Eke market day? There will never be two states in that area. As it stands, Gaza does not exist anymore. Maybe you need to be updated.

I will never let an enemy group build a house across my fence if I have the might to stop them. I will do everything to force them out of my neighborhood. That's exactly what Israel is doing. The same thing Russia is doing in Ukraine for desiring to plant NATO in its backyard.
